Nope, i tired that also and shift didn't have it as far as i know.
One of them even has 'casey cars' on it, which is Casey as in the SMS physics guy.

Hi, what do I need to edit in order to make a tyre spin? I wanted to replace the tyres with codemaster one and applying kstyre shader but what does the game use to know that it's the tyre of the car and make it spin? Thanks

The tyres must be parented to WHEEL_LF, WHEEL_RF, WHEEL_RF and WHEEL_RR nulls/empties.

PLEASE HELP ME !!!!!

Hello,
I have a big problem with my game :
when I launch my Content Manager I have this message which appears : "acs.exe file not found"

so i checked the path which is correct but i see that the acs.exe has been deleted from my game (i have never touched anything in my game for months)

I then look in the copy of my original game and I want to copy/paste the acs.exe file to put it in the steam folder of assetto corsa but impossible, windows asks me for administrator rights "you must have administrator rights to copy items to this folder", how to get an idea ???

I also checked my game with Steam and when it downloads the missing files it says once downloaded "error writing to disk"
My hard drive is not full I still have 347 GB free

I don't know what to do anymore because I have 1TB of mods installed with the Content Manager and my game has always been clean for 2 years (never copied/pasted mods directly into the game, if I have to download the game again I going to have to reinstall everything via the CM ....

Not sure about this, but would a Steam integrity check replace the missing file? I think it leaves the folder structure in tact but just reinstalls any files it deems are missing. Hopefully someone else can verify that, because I could be way off.

Curious though, when it asks for administrative rights to copy the file, what happens when you say ok to give it administrative rights?

Have you got anti-virus software installed and if so has it removed ACS.exe thinking it's a virus (some mods may cause this to be an issue).
anyway if you do then check your AV hasn't removed it and if it has add an exception

[edoandreetta]

Did you add the empties/dummies to your model? You also need some data files to make it work (= without crashing the game). You don't have to pay anyone, it's quite simple to get in-game.

You can read about empties in the Assetto Corsa car pipeline in the AC install folder, under assettocorsa\sdk\dev, or in the manual at the link I just posted before your message (which contains info about data files too).

i think so but it's a month that i m trying doing things but it's not working

Awesome! Any chance of a No-Abbey chicane layout, so we can re-live some 1991-1993 flat-out blasts into Bridge?

So I added a rule and Avast reinstalled the acs.exe file in my game, Steam managed to verify the files and install,

Thank you so much you saved my life !!!!!!

Awesome, and no problem. I had this recently with content manager getting flagged due to the android auto CSP and my AV getting confused and being all kinds of paranoid.
Glad you're sorted now and back up and running.

Now if I have a new problem after downloading a mod, I know the procedure 👍
what a scare sometimes with this game and these mods ... despite years of practice with this game, I still learned something
I think it will also be useful for others here

[RileyPhillips]

I did notice that the other Fun cup the skins fit this, so either they took this guys model, or he is bending the truth somewhat.

My mod got leaked onto here by a user named EASY some time ago, EASY would not cooperate with taking the mod down from his site and discord despite everything.
I have released the car publicly now on RD, which is the only place the car will ever be. If you want more information then I can give it to you.
With that being said, if anyone has real skins for it, I'm happy to link them in the post on RD. Double check they still work, since there have been a few tweaks since around a year ago.

yeah that guy is banned from here and he's putting his name on cars like they're his own, then upload it to sharemods which gives a little amount of money per every download

Ah thats great to know, thanks.
Unfortunately the car is still on his website and no doubt on his discord as well. There's not much I can do about that it seems.

I hope everyone enjoys the mod anyway

Thanks for confirming this, and what a surprise to see that name......

All the skins from that fun cup fit yours, because that IS yours basically.

Your physics are great BTW, never driven a fun cup but I'm talking for sim feel it feels great to me.

There is another Fun cup out there which is different to yours which those skins don't work.

I think i may keep yours and that other different one, and bin EASY's one plus another one I have...
Literally there were no Fun cups and now about 4.
3 of which are same model, well your model.

I'm looking forward to seeing some more of the Fun Cup UK liveries.

BTW way good to see you on here, stick around many folks with many skills if you need anything.

[Pascal2502]

I don't really get it why. I can't really help you for that, I'll still try to pack every sfx and give them to you hoping it'll fix the issue

Would be great if you could do that, because I still can´t find anything that´s wrong or missing.
But still, thanks for your effort.
Apart from the sound issues I really enjoy driving this Mod.

Hopefully it'll be easier to point everyone to RD if they want the car, rather than looking for said stolen cars
I do have a set of Liveries for the UK (not the entire grid but most of it) from the 2019 season which I will most likely release separetly as they are real brands and companies. There is two people I know of that have/are making skins for the car, and I've spoken to both of them already, more skins is always good!

Yep good news. It's a perfect car for large grids so extra liveries are always welcome and the 'other' one has Dutch or Belgian liveries, which is fine, but I'd rather them match what you intended, the UK cup.

I have seen one of these up close on a test day and they are really silhouette racers aren't they?
There isn't much DNA of a beetle in them.
And judging by the laptops stuck into them on the day, it may be a Fun cup but its taken very seriously.

I do plan to release the "quicker" European versions of the car once I've ironed out all the issues with this one first.
Fun fact, the only part from the beetle is the wiper motors
The laptops will be because of the geartronix unit for the gearbox, it allows for different amounts of throttle blip as well as controlling the cut and things.
They are a silhouette yes, space frame and fibreglass panels, 740kgs ish. Great fun to drive. The competition is extremely close as well, often with the races coming down to the final few laps after 4 hours.

Hi, someone can share the avr 2021 AVR500-R and brasilean Honey nsx gt 500? Please. Thanks i have a lot of mods for interchange too if its need it

The avr500 is a paid mod and we try to support modders here 👍

[MisterWaffles]

So if we count the original Formula Hybrid X 2022, the X 2022 Evo, the VRC Formula Alpha and now this, that’s going to be the fourth high-tier paid 2022-spec F1 car released for Assetto Corsa.

Like my gosh guys can you make something different for once, like how about a 2022-spec Indy Lights car? Or literally anything else on four wheels that hasn’t been made yet by someone.

Like obviously the big paid mod studios are great and I love supporting them but the last year or two I’ve skipped a bunch of releases because we keep getting these duplicate projects.
