Hi, Does anyone know how i could get in direct contact with this youtube creator? F40_LM_Lover? I tried posting an comment in one of this youtube comments but it keeps either getting auto deleted or just something idk, I'd like to get in contact with them to offer them some commision work for animations, Mainly for our Saleen and in the future our 993 GT2. Tried out their F40's and various other mods they have made and the animation work is just amazing and i'd like to offer the same on my cars.

No idea if they got an account on here but if they do let me know.

2023 storm hit Monza and it took away most of the trees surrounding the track. Is there version of the track that takes this into account?
This video gives good idea how sparse the surroundings were then.

I am not aware of any version that has trees removed, but would love to see it if there is. I did however move a lot of trees around to open up the grandstand sight lines and eliminate a lot of the trees that came through walls.

Removing trees is on my 'maybe' to do list for my mod, but it would be the last thing I do. The problem with removing all of those trees is the track doesn't have many objects on the outer areas. If you start removing trees, then it looks like there is a barren wasteland around the track. Besides removing trees, you would also have to add a lot of miscellaneous objects to fill in the spaces or the track would look kind of weird. One option may be to move the trees that are around the track and are not there anymore to the outer areas to fill in the spaces.

New beta version (0.8). Use the link in the quote to get the update. I would suggest deleting the old track folder and then install the update.

Mostly small changes, but some are important:

-- Hid some of the added 2025 objects that overlapped with original objects for when you run the raceday layout but use either the 2010 or 2013 track skin. Thanks to @jac0 for pointing that out. Also made it so you can't select more than one year at a time to avoid any possible conflicts.
-- Changed the AWS banner to powered by AWS. Not sure how I missed that one in the video.
-- Added the Temple of Speed banner to the s/f line bridge for the 2025 year skin. Huge thank you to @andrevr for creating the image.
-- Added version numbers to the ui so you can always be sure you have the latest version.

Hmm.... Can't say I ever noticed that before or a reason why it might happen. I'm going to have to run a race and see if it happens to me. Which layout, base or raceday?

Same problem here with this car.
I did not have this problem with older CSP versions.

At least in Cm showroom I have this issue.

When I drive the car the headlights look okay.

And when I change the Lod setting to 2, I get this in CM showroom.

And in the rearview mirror in game the headlights are black again.

Maybe a Lod problem? I don't know how to solve it.

With the update, I see all the headlights black in the showroom. On the track, only the front ones appear black. 🤷‍♂️

It's probably my favorite Porsche, it's beautiful in GT2 version 🔥 🏎. The "gtsupreme" mod isn't bad in my opinion, it's decent.

But i suppose history holds a lot of weight. I don't see it that way. It's just called "market value" and "capitalism". People pay insane money for those air cooled special models. Those 993 GT2's are the last hand manufactured Porsches and they actually are special. Just a few hundred made.

They made 15.000 units of 992 GT3's alone. They are amazing cars with superior track performance but won't ever be as valuable as the 964 and 993 special models, not even close.

Even 993 Turbo S and 964 Turbo S 3.6 sell for prices like this now.

Overpriced? Yeah but what can you do. No normal car enthusiast can buy those cars anymore and they will be bought by some 80 year old rich men who just store them and won't even drive them... but that is the same with many other classic cars too, like Testarossa, Countach etc.

Whatever is overpriced. I have a 996 4S which is probably worth 35K in a good day. 996 GT3 is pretty special too but it's a 60K-95K car. But 996 is a mass produced water cooled car which will never be as valuable as those air cooled models. That's just how it is in the Porsche market and that's how it always going to be.

I don't mind. I don't have to worry about mine and I can take it to the track. I wouldn't even want to own 100K+ car because I want to drive them, enjoy them and trash them (moderately of course). But sure.. if I were a rich man I'd get a 964 or 993. Or a Ferrari 355. But those are nice "dream cars". Maybe one day. Cheers.

for me with my setup the Lemans 1991 I have approx 70% GPU usage and a steady 80FPS (VR) , and w this version w 3d trees , my gpu usage goes to 120% sometimes (how is that even possible?? and my fps tanks then to around 74fps ( something you do not want in VR) ... so "feels like the most optimized track ever on my pc" , not so much for me.
maybe it is a different story when playing pancake... but I do not see why you would want 3d trees when you play in 2D ...

I usually HATE 3d trees, as it tanks my pc and yes seems pointless on a 2d screen, i just found it strange that this one doesnt for some reason.

hi. there is something with original shader. for me, all black lamps are in show room. but in game extension config replaces shader and all is fine. i guess on Your end extension is not kicking in.

Yeah but I'm just an average guy. Those guys are usually 80 year old billionaires. They can afford the crashes. I couldn't even afford a service for a car like McLaren.

This is how those supercar owners usually look like. Younger folks can't afford them.

I tried changing original shader values it did not help. Best way is to replace shader with extension. Can You check with object inspector what shader is used on Your end?

Good morning everyone. Today I'm here for a serious reason. Last weekend have started rally and hillclimb championships in Spain communities using Kronos rally cars (that of course, are the very best).
Everything was going well in the first Hillclimb race, Subida a Castrelo do Miño, organized by AFM racing community, until the organizer detected cheating in some cars (4 people from the same team).

Do you remember Alien app? It turns out that a fan of the film saga has developed a 2.0 version called Predator, capable of bypassing the anti-cheat barriers of current CSPs, and allowing the modification of car parameters during the game.

I hate to bring bad news, but I feel obligated to bring this up again, without much intention of starting a debate. Beyond that, I'm informing you so that the other competitors and organizers from the different communities are aware.

Finally, I just want to add that the various friendly communities in southern Europe are joining forces to combat these kinds of practices.

Here I show you some of the symptoms in video form.

Hi guys
I wonder if i could humbly ask any of the super talented track modders on this forum if they could take a look at the trees on the pre-1994 Monza track mods . I love driving the early 90's F1 cars and the tracks from shin956 and others are excellent but the pre '93 tracks all seem to "open" with the trees not being tall enough and overhanging the track, especially going from the second lesmo to ascari View attachment 1504928

Would be awesome if someday someone could try to amend the trees to be closer to the Kunos version of the track as I feel it adds to the clostraphobic feeling of driving through and under the trees . The pre '94 versions of the track just feel as though theres to much sky visible

I have not raced on the base layout yet. I've only been testing the raceday one. I'll run some races on the base layout tonight and see what happens. I wonder if anyone else has the same problem?

This is why I mostly play offline, I only race in very ocasional vintage races (like the one organized last year Daytona '66) or some vintage time attacks, with people that I moreless know and are trustable and fair competitors.

Back in 2024 there was an official event for AC made by Hyundai for promoting their new Elantra TCR (a mod made by the official Hyundai company, not Fuzo's Elantra TCR). It was a time attack event in Brands Hatch. Everybody used the exact same car, and setup was quite restricted if I remember well. So some people there the top qualified ones were getting insanely fast times (plus +15s faster than me) and ofc I'm not the most skilled dude and I'm don´t have the best gearset for racing, but this was beyond than normal. It wasn´t just a better setup for the car or better gaming gearset, it had to be something else (cheating). I refuse to believe those times were possible to achieve with that car with that amount of horserpower. They literally transformed a TCR car into a F1 car. Those people very likely cheated with a very similar app and added a ton more of horsepower and grip to the car. I hope they were disqualified, but from that moment I got discouraged to participate in online events. There are a lot of cheaters unfortunately.
