I think it depends on which cars, like at a few tracks. Was racing there in Radical SR10s at the weekend and all was fine.Is there an AI line that works for lilski Road America that doesn't have a plane crash every time AI get to the kink?

Defending bad behaviour will only encourage further bad behaviour.
I have been doing both F302 and ACF and i believe the overall model of F302 is better in terms of more poly e.t.c, but there are some glaring issues with F302 version mainly the window trim on the outside and the inside screen is pretty bad it looks weird also you can remove the rear splitter on the ACF one easily and the mapping seems a little better on ACF. You can also remove the window tint under the sunstrip on ACF and black the spoiler supports. I understand that this is minor but as a skinner these things matter to me.

My point, my ONLY point, was that nobody should be forced to sign up to a Patreon just to download a free mod. I absolutely, positively wish I'd never bothered.
And I agree with you, it shouldn't be like this, I too would like all this to be easier, and everyone should respect each other's work, and creators should be able to make a living from their creations, etc., etc... in an ideal world...
Gave this a shot, I still see the same issue with pretty much any AI line, and I am not sure if its how AC implement AI or anything. I think when they are in traffic going through the kink, they don't try to lift or slow down through the kink, and they understeer off into the runoff and either snap oversteer across the track or they just fully went off into the wall. If I try following any AI within some range they do that. When you drive yourself that corner is on the limit for most GT cars. I dunno if it might be better if they just go slower through there or if they be less reactive to try to go faster when someone is behind them...

I've recently been working on updating tree textures on a few tracks, so when I watched GP Laps recent Fonteny Grand Prix post it struck me that, running modern CSP & Pure, the tree textures were not looking as good as I recall they looked to me when I first discovered Fat Alfie's masterpieces. Somehow it seems like heresy to touch them so I haven't ventured there, but your sample pictures clearly prove an update could greatly improve the realism.
Well, that makes two of us crossing fingers, then. (Pleaseeee... 😩)

I have read this thread from beginning to end. It took me about a year and a half. From first post to today. I would cozy up before bed and read the posts. There is a huge difference from "then" till "now"
What I noticed is, back "then" everyone was having fun. A lot of people were just sharing mods, work they have done with a free spirit and just the hopes of other folks enjoying what was done, what they made regardless of the source.
During covid times it was a love fest here on this thread for good reason. People just happy to have something to talk about, share and enjoy while they forgot or dismissed the real world that was crashing down around them. I miss Safi Hellie, she had real opinions and was fun to read.
It took a turn later in the thread. All of the sudden people were making money, some were not happy about it, complaining about the lack of "updates" to the shaders patch. Living the dream, raking it in, yachts and the winning lottery ticket.
Things settled down for a while, then came EASY..lol. At first everything was cool. But then...dun dun dun!!!!!! We all know what happened next.
I sure do miss the days that were. The days long gone. The fun.
Like I mentioned in a earlier post, thank you guys that have been here from the start and have contributed freely without strings attached to make
this game what it has ultimately become.
RD, or Overtake or whatever you wanna call it is inundated with crap mods, apps (some stolen from members here) and it is unfortunate that is what
this game has become. Hoping for the golden ticket.
