In what way you want to set the time/date? It would interfere with the weather controller no matter if it is Pure Planner or any other.
Just wanted a way to set a time or weather for a particular track via ext_config/lua script
I set time at 12PM, Clear weather in content manager which is a global setting. So all tracks would have the same time
Would want to have, say Sunset, Dusty weather for bahrain specifically, without having to change the setting in content manager.

Going through the lua files yielded a few hits, for example,
Code:
ac.setWeatherExactUTC0Timestamp()
, but these need to be used inside a lua app I think

Does anyone know what the fix is in CSP for the black wheels on Formula cars when generating previews? I am using "Use CSP for final preview render" for every car, and I know there's a fix for this because other people can render F1 cars without the tires having the dumb shadows over them, but I can't for the life of me remember what that fix was.
If not present into the car folder, add an extension folder inside of which you create an ext_config.ini file and paste this into it:
Code:
[BASIC]
OPEN_WHEELER=1

then save and re-update the preview.

33 Stradale physics fix Update

thought it might be a good idea to notify you folks of the updates to the 33

-brakes hopefully corrected (now using known values from a 33/2 group 4 car for the calipers)
-suspension geometry corrected (unknowingly I'd based it off of a 33/3, the easiest distinguishing factor is an inverted A-arm on the bottom of the rear suspension for the /3, and an H-arm for the earlier 2L cars)
-ratio for 5th corrected (conflicting sources had led to it being quite short to 4th, turns out KS had it right)
-rear brake model hidden (for whatever reason it had it on the wheels in an inboard brake car, who knows...)

Can anybody share Legion's Mugello short track layout? The old link is no longer visible
Thank you

Lienz - Festival der Geschwindigkeit v1.0

Fictional track in Austria.
Conversion from rFactor2 and GTR2.
Not a fan of modernism, so I will remove the track screens and other modern stuff. But two things should be corrected. :gtpflag:

Yes please, always thought Lienz would make more sense as a vintage track. Meant to experiment but we have so many other vintage goodies for AC already...

Have you managed to hide the modern kerbing?

Nope waiting for the correction then I will do first the merging "best off" from that other Lienz track, as it seems both have the same source. As a sample think the wall of rocks is from that other track much better looking in VR.

Just a couple of observations to this update:
It now seems incredibly easy to lock the brakes compared to the previous version - is this intentional?
The FFB vibrates my whole rig on the Nordschleife - I get big spikes leading to clipping, even at 50% in-game gain strength on a CSL DD 8Nm.

Ah, no sorry weatherFX is not meant to do this because time is also not the exact way to set sunset for example. It will vary over the year because CSP is using the real solar system and so only sunangle is a steady parameter to set the exact lighting condition independent of the time and location.

But also the system is not build to set a certain time and date by the track selection. The only way is you build a Lua app yourself with like a list of tracks and favorite date/time per track.

And in this app you need to shift time then to reach the exact sunangle. That is actually the way it needs to be done.

Thanks for reminding me, this worked perfectly. For some reason just adding the tag "open wheeler" which was also suggested to the car's UI doesn't work for me, so having it in code is very nice.
