Soo, good morning, fellow racers. I'm calling my skins and track edits "TED-EDiTS" or tedits for short. lol.
Here's a skin I did for Legion's "Laguna Seca Hystoric". You'll need his original track from his blog: https://perendinator.blogspot.com/
The skin I did is here:
Description:
Skin for laguna_seca_historic:
Replaced ugly trees and toned down overbright vegetation
Let me know what you guys think. I've started repackaging my texture edits using the skins feature of CM because it's a more elegant distribution method.
Guys, I stumbled across information about "La Pedrera San Luis Argentina" for Assetto Corsa (oh, it was @safi hellie 's camera post), anyway checked this thread and the interwebs for the track itself... it has disappeared. What happened and does anyone have it installed?
Also, these have disappeared as well. (from an old post by Fana)

4- La Pedrera San Luis Argentina
5- Roberto Mouras La Plata Argentina = see #1 (is the same track)
6- Autodromo Ciudad de Rafaela Argentina
7- Autodromo Sincordia Sudamericano = Autodromo Ciudad de Concordia: https://mega.nz/#!6TZ2HSYC!GoW_yVAoyFC3uraC0yfCfsCCFI341KGONmc8qbezlLY
Thanks for any info you can provide.
@xezez No hurt in asking, my friend. I'll try to remember to have a look at those. I might need info on where to get the ones you're talking about if I don't have them just to make sure I'd be working on the correct versions you noted.
@Masscot, good idea. I'll see what I can do.
Guys, sorry, someone posted the track they edited a few days ago. The transparency issues were the first thing that popped out at me, so I took care of those, but I haven't really raced this particular version of the track. I'll do a few laps at some point and see if I can find the issues you guys @a25box and @TL98onGTP noted above.
Try it without "Shadowed Wheels" selected in CSP settings. It looks like it's sensing the tires are inside of wheel wells and are shadowing them. Let us know your result after disabling that setting. I'm curious.
From the outside they are perfectI noticed that too. I don't know, why does it have to be so big. lolI already had to split them because one was floating. I should have scaled them down. It doesn't look that big from the outside. ? .

ooh that would be awesome! thanks for the quick response!!@jimclark06
For Road Atlanta and Long Beach I think they are already working on it (?!) Maybe I missed something ... and it would be nice to see Portland (king of vaporware) too. I'm obviously kidding, we hope to have her on AC someday.
From the outside they are perfect
Because some of you asked questions about different PP filters I did following --> during a three lap race at Bilsterberg with 11 Nissan 370Z GT4's and using camtool replay. Half way the replay (around 3:00) I started to change filters while running the replay (not sure if that is ok to swap while still in replay, because the PP filter/lua did not load while starting the race?). Nevertheless you see the different filters with different graphical results during this replay. In my -humble non expert- opinion there is no good or bad. It is personal preference, your own monitor color settings, performance/FPS. Yep some are very FPS hungry. Sometimes you see the render stat on the left of the video. 45-ish is a bit low and you can see some stuttering. Overall I like or better said love these kind of races and sit back replays thanks to the modding community!.

PS comments in my YT are turned off. Too many unappropriate requests in the past...
Thanks Fall Guy. Sorry for all the n00b config/extension questions. Will this file work with most tracks or is this coded very specifically to Jerez 88?Jerez 1988 (edited version from @Teddie) GrassFX config
Remove the "txt" from the file and place it into a newly created folder "extension" directly into the track folder.

i can confirm that this is gone on most tracks now and will be removed on all tracks probably pretty soon.I only have an issue with AMS2: the branding from Reiza everywhere on the tracks. Call me stupid but I don´t like this too much. Sorry for OT.
Not sure 100% but out of my memory I have an older version. Can check if I'm in my rig again tomorrowI wonder if I have a different version of the track as this doesnt seem show up to load I tried renaming so I could load it but then camera not covering the track.
Track version is 0.99 20191014
Well thank you, that settles that and I don't have to dust off the shrink ray. Last time I used it, I grazed my wiener and well, it's never been the same since.Believe Geroda74 is working on it, whether as a free mod or one of his paid mods remains to be seen.
On the 370Z wing mirrors, it's been a few years since I sold mine but the wing mirrors were massive things from inside the car, probably in part because the visibility out the rear screen was rubbish.
I've been having some fun in AMS2. Has great potential. I'm sure it can only get better from here.to those who love the brazilian tracks, there is still a chance to jump into AMS2 for a reduced price, its probably 1.0 next week.
every track that has been posted here is also in AMS2 and looks amazing.
