Could someone make better AI lines please,
these guys are terribly slow
 
You can actually add all these lines to you extension and set the mix however you like amongst all these elements:

So to alter any car sound, create an extension folder in the car folder, if not already there, create a ext_config.ini, add those lines and adjust to your taste?

Perhaps the chances of getting an opinion considered would be better when writing as a "tip, tip or suggestion for improvement", rather than when it comes across as "criticizing, complaining or demanding".
I understand that you recently became a member of this forum. Whenever anyone made any mod, everyone asked for a changelog. Therefore, I did not ask, but reminded that this is a necessary action.

I think that's everything. Now for the DISCLAIMER: These are quick fix AI solutions, done in sometimes as little as 30-40 minutes, they are not perfect and have only been tested using a grid of 20 Kunos GT3 cars with AI strength between 90 and 100% and with aggression set at between 40 and 60%. Higher aggression settings may well cause issues, I've also prioritised AI speed above caution although once complete, every AI set was tested with a 5 lap race and in no event did less than 16 out of 20 cars finish this race.

The structure of the files should make installation easy, simply extract whichever track folders you own and click yes for overriding the files. If in any doubt then make backups of the ai and data folders before you install. I have no doubt that some of these tracks have already had AI files made by people on here or RD so make sure you check before you overwrite these.

Feedback is welcome, although I'm unlikely to edit these files, I will take any feedback into consideration when I get back to completing the rest of the circuits on my list.

Hi @GIBBONS, So your final mega download is just for AI fixes for the tracks above-correct? Havent had a chance to download your file yet, but assume you have redone the Gilles mentioned track AI files. Did you do anything with the side lines on the tracks? Will get your file later this weekend. thanks for your work.
 
Does OMP seem quite dark and high contrast to you, even in bright sun? Not sure if my pp filter might need tweaking or exposure increasing.
It gets extremely dark with RainFX too.

Yea it's one of those darker tracks (compared to 99% of the rest with same settings). Why do they make them like that?

EDIT. I've seen couple of different versions of Maserati Bora that were both absolute rubbish, so I was not too excited when I saw this one on assettomods:

However that actually is a big improvement to that old model; it's still not great on today's standards but many big issues are now fixed and it's pretty good in overall. Might wanna grab it if you've also missed it.

I wouldnt bother tbh. I was going to maybe do a few races with them, but i got the mod and tested it and the lmp1 cars are garbage. I then got abused for "not signing up for series" when i hadnt been on my pc for a week. that group are abit of a joke tbh

Do you still have the Toyota? I'll try to change the data to GTP's and see how it goes.

"They" posted a lot of preview versions of the track over the last few months in hopes of getting this sort of feedback before the final release. ;)

If it's that bothersome there's no real harm in a 1.01 release to lift the brightness a bit, or if somebody was bothered enough they could adjust the CSP config to their satisfaction. I'm necessarily constrained by my display hardware, AC mods+configuration, and my own sense of the relative brightness of things, so the more the merrier...

I wasn't sure when I posted the original question as I've recently changed PCs and am using a different pp filter, new CSP version, new Sol build and different graphics settings since then so I wanted to canvass opinions, but my initial impression was that it was darker than the last version I tried on my old PC. It looked even darker of course because I had RainFX active on first loading it and that darkens all the shaders automatically, but when I switched to bright summer sun in the middle of the day it still looked a little dark to me, with quite high contrast.
I *think* exposure can be tweaked on a per-track basis with Sol config these days, and I think it remembers the setting for that track. I'll give that a go.
Great track by the way, top notch. Some of the best looking trees in AC too I think.

Sorry for off-topic. My G29 shifter began to often register the reverse gear position as sixth. I'd estimate it correctly registers the GR button 3 out of 10 tries. Otherwise shows as G6. Did anybody else had a problem like this? Thanks.

I've been following your work since you fixed that crash for win 7 user (3rd or 4th update i think), pretty impressed by the amount of work and the quality you putted into that track, Bravo. True modder.
