Either should be fine, when updating via CM, I think the default option is clean install? If not then you can select clean install from the drop down box I’m sure. I’ve never had a problem updating this way, but tend to manually clean install anyway usually. Drop me a message if you have any trouble with it.

Thank norms! I will let you know if something happens. I like the convenience, but didn't want any corruption for these awesome tracks.

(create a skins/cm_skins folder structure in the Riverside track folder and drop the unzipped file into cm_skins. Don't forget to select it.)

This was just a very quick 'n' dirty piss around - nothing serious, nothing for knickers to get all twisted about. It won't be uploaded to RD and doesn't even have a 3D grass config.

Gearing is completely wrong on the car. Its 8 Speed not 7 for the very least.

Copy this into your drivetrain.ini

[GEARS]
COUNT=8 ; forward gears number
GEAR_R=-3.480 ; rear gear ratio
; forward gears ratios. must be equal to number of gears defined on count
GEAR_1=5.000
GEAR_2=3.200
GEAR_3=2.140
GEAR_4=1.720
GEAR_5=1.310
GEAR_6=1.000
GEAR_7=0.820
GEAR_8=0.640
FINAL=3.150 ; final gear ratio

HP and Torque needs to be adjusted as well. It seems the original author just copied the base Kunos M4 over and called it a day.

Thank you but I still seem to have the problem, I mean the gear ratios are new now but the car struggles a lot after 170 kph, it's a long way to reach 200 kph in 5th gear, and then i shift to 6th and.. it just won't accelerate any more, actually it will start losing a bit of speed in 6th gear..

I was going through some of my previous tracks I have gotten from this forum and tried out the Arctic Circle Raceway last night that
Teddie improved a while ago. It is a very nice track, I dont know if anyone can make that track a little smoother, and I dont think it has complete replay
CAMS for the track. Arctic Circle Raceway track is still drivable, but i have to be in "Lock to Horizon" cockpit view mode to minimize the bumps.

Anyway, just thought I would ask. Was Having fun last night with some of the Road tracks. take care.

The car's data is at least 100HP under, so of course it doesn't go.
 
For anyone who doesn't follow Race Department, I've been working on this little sports car for a bit. Aphidgod generously volunteered his time to create the physics for it. Slow, but steady, progress is being made. :)

I've found another mistake. This one affecting the AI (they didn't shift gears). The *ai.ini* file was almost empty, only had UPshift.

I changed it for AI dudes be able to race.
Copy - Past inside *ai.ini* file. » delete what is there«

Updated the G82 M4's Physics

Fully reworked physics, proper power output and gearing.

Still some bugs, it was a quick fix only. I broke the G-Meter in the instrument panel and couldn't fix it.

visible bug would be the front windshield and side glass, missing rim blur.

It should drive a lot better now.

Well, we should be expected about the low poly models since they are like 2000s games so it's obvious the models will look low poly. It is meant to fit for a 15+-year-old game lmao. Also, there was a 190E on the run somewhere but it is a private mod. Hopefully, someone can get a public version of a 190E class 1 and it would be really cool to see.

well i get what you said about the 2000s games, but i know there are modders dat love dtm and maybe someone has rebuild of did and engine swap with a bmw m3 e30 and would like to help me to get them equal with that fia class 1 mods cause those are fun to drive.. and i have some very nice bmw m3 e30 mods but the or to slow or to fast :S

also i have seen that version of the merc and maybe i can get it somewhere
