Hey guys,

I've been having trouble with some tyre textures and can't find a fix to it. All compounds load correctly except for the Soft compound, which is a flat black. I've tried reinstalling CSP, but that didn't fix the problem. Does anyone have a solution?

Thanks, that's exactly what it is! I was confused by the 1974 mod, which I have. I think the 77 is better looking - I will investigate that model although unfortunately it’s the four door sedan, mine was a two door coupe. Mine had one of the larger V8s, 360 cu in I think.

It was reliable and quite fast - I really enjoyed it. I got stopped a couple of times on the back roads of Wisconsin/Minnesota but when I pulled out my British driver's licence the cops were usually pretty friendly!

Maybe you had the wrong paintjob on your Monaco?

What exactly is happening when you try opening the car in custom showroom after renaming?

If it looks all jumbled, then likely the UV mapping of the rtm version is different than assgarage version

If it's just plain white, then could be something like renaming issue

Renaming the dds works only if the skins are made the same. Like it is the case for the Toyota mentioned above and for quite some other cars.
In your VRS vs RTM case it will not work.

The sad thing is that I find that mess kinda cool.

RainFX is the cash cow, that's why this will never be released outside Patreon.

Speaking of RainFX... I uploaded a wiper config for Guerilla's BMW M6 GT3 to RD yesterday and it seems that there's a scenario where on a triple screen setup the wipers would only work (wipe the rain) on one of the monitors (the right one in this instance). Are there any triple-screen users here that experienced a similar issue with the M6 or any other car with CSP wipers or does anyone know what (CSP) setting could be causing this problem? I wasn't able to reproduce the problem on my triples with various different video/CSP/ppf settings.

So both are really 1.3 then ?

couple of days ago an update was posted on ACTK Garage, which is worth mentioning here as it is a very nice race-car mod (imho):
the ACTK Nissan Skyline GT-R BNR34 NISMO GT500 v1.3

it only had 3 skins though , so I created 6 extra skins, which you are welcome to as well , on my Google drive:

(extra skins only, car can be found in the Nissan section of ACTK Garage)

Oh and this is another case were his updates are not compatible with older skins available around unless you rename the main dss files.

There are a bunch of tracks that are imho worthwhile converting (Barcelona nineties, Doni 93 for example) and it is do-able. Just takes a hell of a lot of time and boring tasks. Been trying those last two mentioned with on and off succes. Working with 3DSimEd is troublesome.

Wished that some more experienced people would make the effort of converting those nineties F1 tracks for Assetto.

I couldn't care less about how much money he makes. This has been discussed here to death already, and it's pointless to continue. I just wanted to know if he's doing alright. He hasn't expressed himself in Patreon since February and with the war going on that feels like an eternity ago. I know very well where I stand in that matter but I would hate to learn something horrible happened to him for whatever reason. I follow a few Russian content creators who sell / show their content to the world like Ilja did, and I strongly doubt they support the atrocities going on in Ukraine.
