Hillclimb Los Marteles Gran Canaria - rain and grass and vao and so on...

Not the most exciting track but but it's nice to travel up the hill on the island.


  • You should be able to copy the files straight into you assetto corsa folder as long as you have the track installed. It will ask to override - backup your track if you want to keep the original files.

  • If the new grass still won't show check your assetto corsa folder: extension/textures/grass_fx. You should have a "highlands.dds" file in there, otherwise no grassFX.

Has anyone made any better replay cams for the Mendig Fastlap track on Legion's site? Cracking little track, but the cams are lacking.
I've seen that there is a camtool replay, but I'm looking for standard cams.
 
hi guys, since newest csp and newest pure i have weird flicker in the sky when i drive in rain with other cars...when i drive alone in rain there is no flicker..do you see the same flicker? does anyone know a solution?

Was there ever a definitive reason for why rolling starts can't ever work in AC?
I've been twisting my head up trying to get my head around how it could work.
Obviously its not important on road tracks, but for ovals and dirt ovals it would be awesome.
I tried a few ideas like setting AI away from the start finish line but just not the same.
Cant help thinking if cool down lap can be done why not rolling start.

If someone could tell me why its impossible and i'll leave it alone.

Ilja said it's possible here referencing online servers, not sure if anyone has done it. You will need to be a Paetron to read it I think.

Rolling starts work with OSRW or RealPenalty app.

But not offline, though.

The vao turned out quite big, so I can't attach the zip here this time.

I saw on one of the forums that it was getting a lot of criticism... so I started to clean things up. It got its original name back, because it's not Kirkistown, it's too bleak and empty for me. I built a fantasy version based on Kirkistown, adding a lot of things, and this is Kirkispark. I tried to bring back everything from my original GTL track and added a lot of extra stuff... I don't know what the "barry.kn5" file is, maybe it's something transparent, because it's not visible - I'm sorry if it was accidentally left in there. Kirkispark is my track, I built it from scratch to GTL. If I made a mistake during the conversion, I apologize! I use Bobs Track Builder for track construction, I have built about 100 tracks so far. I make XPacks for construction, they are easy to use in BTB, I keep them, store them, many things can be used on other tracks - trees, bushes, buildings, bridges, etc... I have 835 items, self-built XPacks. So I hope you don't think I'm stealing a file called "barry" from Gilles75... maybe I was careless, maybe I work too much Please reassure me that you ask for another reason, mate.
