No one is laughing at you mate, they are just trying to see if they can help you. 👍and please don't laugh, I know it's an old machine.
Yes, I understand and I know that I will need a new machine... if AC2 comes out and I shaw it is worth it, I will buy.No one is laughing at you mate, they are just trying to see if they can help you. 👍
I did some research on google and i think that its a 64bits processor, so it should be able to manage a 64 bits S.O. I had a laptop with 32 bits Windows 7 installed by mistake by the previous owner, i reinstalled the system with a Win7 64 Bits and problem solved.AMD Athlon(tm)II X2 B26 Processor 3.20 GHz

Reinstalling is a big problem, saving a lot of things, projects, documents, reinstalling all software, games... at least 1 week of annoyance because of one thing that, true to my promise, I won't name again.I did some research on google and i think that its a 64bits processor, so it should be able to manage a 64 bits S.O. I had a laptop with 32 bits Windows 7 installed by mistake by the previous owner, i reinstalled the system with a Win7 64 Bits and problem solved.
If im saying anything wrong, feel free to correct me.
3.5 GB RAM.Why would we laugh ?
Okay it's not much info but it's a start.
If I look into it, the X2 B26 seems to be a K10 architecture, 64b width. It is suppose to be x64 compatible. Not much useful for a 2core/2threat, that would not make it better tho.
For the R7, it's not powerful (770Mz for the chip, 900 for the V-ram) but it's definitly enough for AC, for exemple.
I would say it would depend on the RAM. If you have 1 or 2gb you may not be able to run a 64x OS properly. If you have 4go, I would recommend going to a 64x architecture. (And if you have more than 4, right there I would laugh, because the rest would be quite useless)
EDIT : if you have any questions, feel free to mp me
Yes, your actual OS right now, is installed in a 86x architecture, which means a 32bits bendwidth. It's a bit complicated to explain but basically, that allows Windows to work with the CPU on a 32b instance, from 1 core and 4 threats maximum, and 4g of memory. A 64x remove a lots a barriers for windows, because it doesn't rely on reading/writing from a single core but on multiple ones at the same time, which theoretically remove the limits for the number of threats and the memory cache. To make it simple : with a 32b, your windows can work with one core (out of 2) at the same time, with a 64b it could work with both. For you that wouldn't make a difference, because your cores are single threat. for exemple, my cpu is 6cores/12threats, so each core got 2 threats, for me that would make a difference.3.5 GB RAM.
I recently tried to install something and it failed, the error message said it was only 32, so unfortunately it's not 64.

Thanks for that, but, if you allow me to add, these files add image in the rear view mirror, and lighting in the panel leds.Hi! I've made some minor visual updates to whistleblower39's 720S GT3
Again, please back up the original files to revert if these changes are not to your liking. Thanks!
- I have repositioned the wheels forward and they sit within the wheel wells as they should. Changes were made to the data.acd file so please back up your file.
- The right front and rear brake disc callipers and pads are now visible, as well as updated brake disc normals. The only issue I know is that they don't glow if you're on CSP 0.1.80 p115.
- I updated the wiper animation, kind of, the wiper blades now exclusively sweep water instead of nearly the whole arm. I tried to recreate the dual hinge wiper animation like on the Kunos cars, but it was too much of a headache.
- I have added a couple of PBR inside and around the car.
- The rear wing angle has been readjusted and should look flat at the lowest setting and without too much rake at the highest.
- Updated driver steering and shifting animation

Hi, thanks for your input, the rearview screen doesn't work for me as I don't have the bosch_ddu10.kn5 file. Thanks for that, but, if you allow me to add, these files add image in the rear view mirror, and lighting in the panel leds.

"-Reasonably big folder size because of the model and 4K resolution skins in itHello fellas.
I did some experimental ride for AC some time ago while pursuing the die cast collection of Porsches cars. However the 3d model was purchased some 3-4 year ago for other purpose. Would like to share it with public.
Talking about one of the most interesting dakar rides - Lada "Poch" Samara T3 1990. Born in Soviet, Worked in France, Powered by Porsche.
The full story of the ride is collected and written here in the article. With historical photos and so on.
Body Ao, animated wipers and driver, NO animed suspension
3D model was originally made for rendering only, so it had tones of polys. It took the time to make the model as suit as possible for Assetto Corsa. And now it works just fine. Reasonably big folder size because of the model and 4K resolution skins in it. But it works in high FPS on my pc. Model is encrypted since it belongs to creator.

****okay, let's see
Didn't notice that... Is that only during race or same thing in practice / track day too ?Hi Forum.
With many track mods (or Kunos with extensions) I can't see (appears and immediately disappears) the red pit place icon (pit_indicator.kn5) so it's impossibile to make a pit during the race.
Any idea how to solve?
Thanks.
Example

Imola with @Pyyer extension

An other example is Montreal mod track by Terra21.
Clean mod all works good but with 2022 extension there's a problem.
Sorry but... I don´t understand what folders have to remove manually... In fact, I don't know the correct steps to install the fix, really, and I don't want to mess up all doing tests... 😅... unfortunately, you will have to manually remove those two folders that are not inside the "rena_hayami_f1gtr" folder...
Oh, sofa racer comes"-Reasonably big folder size because of the model and 4K resolution skins in it
-NO animed suspension
-Model is encrypted"
So it's not optimized, minimal effort and it's encrypted (wihout the possibility of making previews or adjusting your imaginary physics) because you nicked it off some 3D site ???
Now that's a straight to the bin mod if I've ever seen one.
Last sentence: exactly yeah that's why I've been driving Legion's rendition of the 56 you 'scratch made' (lmao).Oh, sofa racer comes
The model was never to be made for sim, it was too polished and was for rendering only.
Actually I purchased it and made for AC as good as possible it terms of polycount.if you are running 10 years old PC, yeah , it might bi a trouble for you, lol
But I will not argue with you. As it said: do not touch the ...., It will stink.
It's up to you, what is the point? Why do I care?Last sentence: exactly yeah that's why I've been driving Legion's rendition of the 56 you 'scratch made' (lmao).

it's included in this mod:Hi, thanks for your input, the rearview screen doesn't work for me as I don't have the bosch_ddu10.kn5 file.
excellent.it's included in this mod:
Rear camera for McLaren 720s GT3 (whistleblower39)
This download adds the missing rear camera monitor to whistleblower39's McLaren 720S GT3, just like the ACC version. Link to the car can be found here...www.racedepartment.com

Thank you so much!just open the.7z then inside the .7z "assettocorsa", and drag&drop the "content"...
Do not care about criticism, believe me nobody is the perfect AC modder. For me you did explain the shortcomings well and I think there’s no need in dragging you down. It's up to you, what is the point? Why do I care?
And It was not told to be the whole scratch made, but F1 bodywork. Btw the F1 version exist only because we have made the bodywork...
I doubt about some of legion cars physics, there are some good as I can remember, but some are unbalanced at all. I think it could be anywhere and it's fine , always space for improvements.

Nice work. Love your car updates. Maybe you can fix the side windows of te car. It looks like the have low refresh rate and they're buggy if you use motion blur. I've asked whistleblower39 some time ago but he did't fix it till now.Hi! I've made some minor visual updates to whistleblower39's 720S GT3
