in flight sims the issue is solved by the fact 3d trees arent often rendered in full detail as your usually many kms above them. hence people complaining of frames taking a hit when close to the deck.
yeh i have been trying to get indianapolis by 13x to work with "3d tree's and prm" by ludwig. and i cant seem to just get the prm without the 3d tree's. everytime i put the bits in the folders for prm i have no tree's at all. i am guessing the new kn5 model has either 3d tree's that work with the extension folder or nothing at all. i dont no i am guessing. it does get a little frustrating as a prm shouldn't have anything to do with tree's.....should it?
Thats the difficulty in flysims if you get higher in the air the 3D trees are indeed not that important, but in exchange of that you get the 3D clouds.

can I (hopefully easy) adjust the windshield-banners transparancy?
like, if there was a possibility in the config ini to add some lines where I can adjust from 0 to 100 or something like that?
these lines are just for fun, as I have actually no idea how it would look in order to work

I dropped in to see what's going on and this is the first thing I see...
There are good and bad ones. Its like with the tracks configs or tracks themselfs. Those trees can look realy good. My favourite set is the one for Monza:Though I'm pretty sure you are just kidding, please don't start getting involved in that treeFX thing... it's bad, really bad.
In the state it is now it's one of the worst things you can add to AC.
Just tried latest one for Gnoo Blass. I have never ever seen trees like that IRL, nowhere. They look alien.
Quickly reverted back to the originals.
Until now - afaik - I have kept one treeFX update. It did look better than the origininal trees and for some reason it almost didn't impact fps, nor did I have weird shadows or popping.
And I keep trying them, some tracks don't even look real anymore because the wrong kind of trees were added...

Here in Spain we have a joke about this with the Abarth 595: they take a perfectly normal one, change the rims, paint it a new colour, put a fancy badge on it, add a couple thousand to the price and voila!, we have the "Weekly Special Limited Edition"... another one... And they sell them all! Those Italians are marketing geniuses...

Despite I'm currently wary of 3D Trees due to usual drop in fps, it must be recognized that on a well-optimized track, as said, they can contribute a lot, but seems that implement it without lossing performance is only within the reach of a few chosen.
