Any thoughts on what’s causing these?

NEWS

I started to do some videos on Youtube for my tracks, here you can see Schottenring (WIP link in description):

Uploading was heavy, this video is only 6 min but had 490 MB. If you have some more infos or know a tutorial on doing game videos you can send me I only found commercials at Google.

Modern Day Racing Series will be released in this month, a bit delayed because of all those track updates. I reworked all GT3 champs for using RSS mods + implemented the RSS Hypercar BMW in the IMSA series. I reported that windshield bug and they answered me to fix it but no patch out until yet.

Working on my Pure Neutral PP filter is very good. Finally a good filter for Pure that is not overcontrasted/desaturated/oversaturated. Release approx. this month.

RELEASE

More handy UI for the GTPC (Virtua_LM) conversion by GTsupreme

What happened to the Virtua_LM GTPC mod? Many old sim racers will know that this kind of vapoware was a bit of a disappointment when it finally came out for rFactor. Later TonyBarracuda and GTsupreme took on a conversion to AC simply called "Group C 80s". The latest version is now free to have and this mod is finally worth a try. The physics might not AAA+, but it finally makes fun to drive this unique experience of early 80s prototype cars.

Patreon link:

direct link to the cars:

here is the Le Mans 1982 track (original Virtua_LM)

This add-on patch wants to help to get the best possible experience from the status we have at the moment.

What it does?

All cars now in one brand "GTPC (Virtua_LM)" to have them all together.
They splittet into two categories by tags. One for cars with lights "#gtpc_virtua_lm" and one without "#gtpc_virtua_no_lights", so there will be no cars that have no lights while driving at night.

The tags give you the opportunity to drive them all together:
For cars with "#gtpc_virtua_no_lights" use "Grid type → Random → Same brand & class" to run with all.
For night races use a "#gtpc_virtua_lm", car with lights, and choose "Grid type → Random → Same subclass only" and you wont have cars without lights in the grid.

PS: I also had to create a third category "#gtpc_smoker" for cars with a physics bug that makes them do heavy smoke from the wheels.

All of this is much, much appreciated. I love having all of this together in one pack.. I'm pretty sure I have all of them from Tony's original releases, but they seem to be scattered on different drives, heh! I also look forward to to trying the UI helper.

There is nothing more i can do, Sol or Pure have just a very simple logic to switch them on or off. And you would see it, if you look into Pure Config AI tab.
Yes, I've looked into that several times in the past and ambient light levels are always well above the trigger point for turning lights on.
I imagine it's some check box (or a combination of incompatible check boxes) in CSP somewhere... but I'm at a loss to work out how or where.

Is anyone else here finding that headlights come on during daytime sessions?
It's never track lights, just car headlights.

I have that behavior of headlights in AI cars, but on some tracks, can't remember exactly on which. Could be related to geotags and selected data of the race?

had the same issue since beginning. I use Pure config AI settings to maximum and minimum levels accordingly to turn them off

Did something change in AC / CSP at some point with track camera coordinates? I have many tracks where they seem to be miles out - anyway, here is edited cameras.ini for oakes_field by Legion (goes in track data folder, rename to cameras_1.ini if you want to keep the old set).

Be a little careful when using configs in skin folders to change drivers, your Super Ti skin has the 60s driver's goggles clipping through the first person view. :)

It's Monza weekend for F1 and there's not a 90s layout for AC...how sorry!
I love old 1st Goodyear chicane.
There's superb '88 edition by @Rainmaker87 but Lesmo are different with old radius and it has high curbs.
Isn't there a version to convert? For the future... 😇

EDIT: probably I'll use this version for 96 skin!

I believe that the best version for Monza (90's) and Nurburgring Nordschleife (70's), would be someone to convert from (Automobilista 2), no doubt they are excellent, it would be fantastic to also have Assetto Corsa (besides most of the mods are in him ).

Hi @Masscot ! I checked it, and I was sure that the position was correct... and it seems that on my side is good.

Any suggestion?

No goggles appear if you move your seat back slightly? The hide config is for the bareheaded driver in dàta/driver3d.ini, the 60s driver in the skin folder config needs one that hides his goggles.
OK, now is clear, I got the point. ;) Thanks

Fixed (old link is updated).

Sorry for this quick update!

-fixed podium
-fixed colour of Foster's Bridge on main straight
-added preview icon

Delete old version and install this new one!

Thanks
Just wondering what mod is it that your using to get the 1996 cars etc

Thanks

I need help, please. I did a dumb and have both Sol and pure installed and running. The Sol uninstall recognizes that it is in the AC root folder, however, the pure uninstall, WHICH IS IN THE SAME FOLDER! Does not recognize it as the AC root folder and every time I click it the program just closes. The only time I ever get any progress is when I go to where steam is installed in my C drive (if anyone knows how i can move that or even just move where all the documents and such go to that would be great too) and then it tells me that this is not the AC root folder, press any key to continue and then boom closes the program

crazy that this mod is still in circulation. Thank you for using it

your standard? thats. crazy. i would like to believe that i have done a terrible job. but thank you
I never got a reply for a comment that was over 1 year old nice...
Still a very cool map, to test max speed and write config's, now i use also other fast loading maps from e.g. Rainmaker.

I want to release some new Skins for the BMW M1 Procar here, maybe next weekend, i also made a new config for refraction and little other improvements for the reworked mod from @DaWallace

I released two new Skins on RD but it is a pain in the ### and fiddly #### to write and update everything for each skin on RD.

Before I noticed that you can make updates for one big release, to add more, I had uploaded all the skins there one after the other, now everything is a huge mess.

I will improve all skins one after the other and upload them there, but the horror of it is already gripping me, it's worlds better and easier here, to release things.

check assettocorsa > content > fonts to see if you have m4_font installed.
If not add these files and the display should look like this:
