I know this sounds stupid, but is there any way to slow down the AI speed of all vehicles on a particular track?
I'd love to watching the car body at low speeds, similar to the GT7's dynamic viewing mode


My favourite track, Patriot Course at Virginia International Raceway has a great CamTool setting made by Unovox

I know I can drive myself at a slow speed and turn on playback mode, but if I can let the ai drive, I just enjoy watching... Well sometimes I'm lazy lol



Try editing ai_hints.ini in the Data folder to add the following

[MAXSPEED_0]
START = 0.223
END = 0.225
VALUE=50

But it didn't seem to make any difference

The values for the track are percentages. So "0" = 0% (=start) while "1" is 100% (=finish). So a speed limit for the entire track should be:

START = 0.001
END = 0.999

Anyone has this? When starting content manger, sometimes goes away with a restart, sometimes repeated restarts needed with similar messages, sometimes a small blue screen error. Eventually restarts, sometimes get it when exiting a race and returning to CM. Only get it when using CM, no other Apps. Also Simhub drops out randomly. Help!View attachment 1402468

Is there any "patent fix" for the "injured ai cars" when they start crawling on the track 20 km/h after they hit the wall? And when they do, they create annoying traffic problems. Especially on Monaco.

My first guess was failing RAM
(not lack of specs or type (I actually have dd3 in my box and a very old core i7 4770 non-K))

Also try swapping your RAM slots and see if it happens, as a bad RAM could be shifted out of a critical address

Not sure where base model was from but it was standard and i added a few race bits. I use AC as a means to get my stuff i've made for renders driveable and into a game as a friend advised me the photo editor is great and easy to mod stuff in.
They weren't wrong.

Yes i'm very familiar with those tracks do you have a link to this one? The NYC 'Freeroam' tracks I have are very barebones and AI don't work on them for some reason. This one seems to be alot more detailed.

And i wanted to try this so baaaad...

Hey guys, latest bug just dropped on my system with the latest Content Manager update : i cannot run the game in fullscreen anymore. The whole PC would just freeze in agony and restart from the bios.



The game still starts normally in windowed mode. I have absolutly no clue what happened, but i do remember the "Content manager updated" pop up.



Playing 2K on a 4k screen, so it's related to upscaling (4K fullscreen works, 2k windowed works, 2k upscaled crashes).



As usual, any idea on the matter is warmly welcome.

When I saw this car, I was honestly surprised, from all those pictures published at their webpage I thought this is the "real deal", finally official TCR car, data based, CAD 3D model, fully optimized, carefully crafted... Thought my TCR cars are thing of a past... Then I downloaded it, opened it and... yes, it was probably made by the same guy who did Virtual TCR mod. It has the same sounds like old Virtual TCR Elantra, wheel blur is always on in CM showroom, the car glows at night, even some sponsor logos glow, I believe physics is that infamous esport physics from Virtual TCR car as well. The model is from the same source like mine, so Hum3D just with remodeled front and some details, but no LODs, no optimization, quickly put together. When I tried to drive it, it almost broke my hands for some reason with my DD wheel...

I don't think the bar for AC TCR cars is set so low that we should be happy for this kind of mods. I am not sure how I should feel about **** like this, really. I was honestly pissed for a while... Anyways, all modesty aside, if you guys want to drive proper TCR cars, avoid this one and grab proper TCR mods at my Patreon (free to download)... Especially try Cupra or Audi with new sounds and with headphones, erection guaranteed!

Does anyone use the tracks rt_zolder (1.3) and rt_misano (1.1) from Reboot Team? On these tracks, AI cars get stuck at the start. The problem is only with these tracks. Maybe there is a fix or update, but i cant find it.

Those are my projects, just tested with 20 cars both tracks, everything is OK at my side, CSP 0.2.5 Preview 1... Check your CSP settings or do clean install of the tracks.

Thanks for a proper review from someone who would know a thing or two - your Hyundai and Cupra TCRs are indeed my favorites. Shame about this "official" version - I had hoped it was in line with the XBOW and Ferrari Challenge.

I'll still give it a spin, but I'll temper my expectations.
