Thanks for the help guys. Deleting the appropriate entries fixed the issue.

On another note, watching DigitalVei 's channel on Youtube and trying to update some cars, i've found out that most (if not all) 101Creative 's cars have a generic custom paint configuration in the extension car folder.

The material for Material_CarPaint in ext_config.ini is NOT the correct one.
You should manually find the correct material (for body paint) in CM showroom and edit it in the ext_config.ini!
It will make a big difference on how the car looks!

I hope that made sence....
Give it a go if you are interested.

... I thought there had finally been an official update to the PM3DM cars when I saw your post. But nope. Any remaining hope just died a horrible protracted death.

It's the same as four years ago then ? It'll be fully done when AC3 will be a thing lmao, I don't trust him or his group anymore.

And they've been teasing stuff for AC Evo, woohoo the Primera again, see y'all in 2035 for the BMW still without its interior lol

Thank god KW Studios and VRC exist. And also JK for the awesome GRID LEGENDS ports :)

If anyone is willing to map the front spoiler so i can sticker it i would greatly appreciate it, also if anyone fancies putting a side exit zorst on this that would be cool to. There are loads of bits and bobs that coule be done tbh. I cannot achieve any more on this car i am at my limit of expertise/adhd

BTCC MK1 GOLF

To install: drag and drop its an entire car.

what i have done:

physics swap from a old touring car from like 2015, there basic but fun enough i have also upped the power from 170bhp to 195bhp

changed sound

changed flames

removed alot of stuff from the body also removed passenger seat and blacked the drivers seat

blacked the interior out at the back so it looks boxed out at some angles

changed many shader values

2 x real skins (some concessions had to be made due to mapping) also to note the front and back lower half of this car is not mapped well so the quality suffers as a result of this i am powerless to change this. Aso the way it lays the banner on the inside is not changeable i spent hours getting the outide better only to realise it makes no difference on the inside.......doh!


I have had to remove the front badge as its meshed to the side mouldings i can only split the mesh once on 1 axis so i settled for a missing front badge (or basically missing) and no side mouldings, its a shame you cannot split the same mesh twice so i could hide what i needed on 1 axis and then keep the front badge on another axis but it does not seem to work like that.

Keep in mind i am no expert i have done my best with the skill set available to me.

PM3DM posted on their discord that all these projects are dead in the water. This was several months back when it was posted.
 
Good evening guys, does anyone know how to fix the dashboard reflection problem on the AMG Mercedes C-Class DTM 2005 F302? Thanks in advance

Maybe someone will convert the one from RRE when it´s finally released. So far, you may still use the one from FSR.

Probably cause it's the PM3DM's 3D model that was ported to rF2 by Cyrill where he gave it an interior. FSR then ported it back to AC and put it behind an paywall cause he's an dirty little leacher.

Sadly the mapping was changed between rF2 and AC so none of the old liveries work.

(I understand Oauth, just not wild about/don't trust Steam's implementation)

Anyhoo, it seems to just be a re-host of the version 1.1 on ACTK.
Where it's free, cos you only pay with your soul :)

No issues with that, LFM requires the same...

But ACTK is fine.

We usually don't realize that we pay with our information but it's truth. Nothing's free nowadays.

If you 've tried other SDD mods, you already know what you are getting.

I found at least one car (the Prost) being totally off center in CM and I don't know how to fix it, but hey, it didn't actually cost me any money. Although I did sacrifice the data of my second e-mail account in order to get it.

So it's on your hand if you want to get it from there, or if you are going to try the "updated" version that will not be 100% the same mod. I would go with the SDD again though, cause it's the original mod. Just don't raise your expectations too high.

But I won´t send them 12 bucks for the full mod.

I didn't make clear which one I was talking about, my bad. I meant the free 1999 AP02 mod they have, not the 12 buck one. I never considered to give money to some people who are known around as "scamdream", so I get it why you don't want too. Although the Ap02 is worthy, at least judging by the fact that it's zero bucks. If you have a secondary e-mail account then it's worthy at least to try it.

Hm I was talking also about the free AP02. The 12 EUR is for the full grid.
