I have only talking about the Audi, and I prefer a good mod with a bit differences with the reality, instead a good model 3d with a very poor converting job ...
I have tested Audi from F302 and C.Cherry, and the worst is undoubtedly from F302.

So I will let you work on the F302 version because I hope you have many time and energy to spend.

I would give Cyrill's stuff more credit if the guy actually bothered making the cars correctly for the spec they are supposed to be.
The 850 Estate is just the 850 Sedan spec but with an 850 estate body instead.

His Audi is once again a complete mix of specs & honestly i'm pretty sure it's just the GRID Legends Audi with some parts from the SCCA A4 from Forza Motorsport 4.

The rest of his cars just looks bad, Drives bad because they are re-using PMD3DM's bugged physics from his Primera, Only thing worth getting from him atm is the Mk2 Accord and the 805 thing but that accord model looks like it would be more fitting in Race 07 than AC.

is there a workaround (besides having to generate each skin separately) ?

GT4's update went so well and it's still kind of a fresh thing, at least for me.
But it really makes me hope for revised GT2.
Can I hope? Here's my candle.

The technician I sent my PC to yesterday (so far he hasn't been able to recover the data from my Asseto Corsa).

I hadn't shared a lot of things yet, I had bought a lot of things (cars and tracks).
Now what's left, a few backups on other HDs, the links (sharemods I shared in the last few months), but it's going to be hard to recover everything.

I had the cars (rally, Indy that I had edited, etc.).For now, until I receive my new HD (so I can start installing everything again little by little), I can't share anything at the moment....

Terrible. To prevent this kind of things happening I have all my important classic F1 stuff on a portable drive. Actually in two portable drives and also on Mediafire.

I use a backup software that backs up AC once a month on another SSD, so I don't want to lose any mods.

I even have a backup of some cars (but not with the edits I made).
Tracks, none in backup (this will be one of the problems, since I had bought mainly Rally tracks and some others with a friend).
As well as some cars (DRM, RSS, VRC and others).

The Rally cars that I had modified (I don't remember saving or sharing them with anyone).
The only mods I shared (not all on the forum) were the F1 packs (many finished, many still to be modified...), some car packs (Le Mans), USAC/CART/Indy.

I had already requested a lot of things on the other HD (at the end of the last year) with edits from other games.
Some LMP1, LMP2, LMP3, Gte, gt3 cars that I collected and organized, I don't know if I will have the energy to reorganize everything again.

Maybe I won't do it anymore. Next week when I have the new HD in my hands (put together what's left) and try to load what's possible...

this happens when ssd or hdd fail. likely the files got corrupted after copying into bad sectors. check your drive

The 2nd screen. Just put the entire nurburgring_1984 folder into the assettocorsa>content>tracks folder.

The 2nd screen is what I tried initially and again just now and this is what I get.

But hey it's no big problem. I'll just skip them and maybe try again on some of his future updates. I'm sorry I ever brought it up. I should have known better.

Nobody answered my question. Are 101creative's GT conversions worth the disk space or not. I'm trying to "modernize" my AC and need to know of content to get or content to avoid. honestly, It would benefit may players in the future coming from GT to ac. i love AC, doesn't mean it don't have bad mods...

It is not fun. But it was a good lesson.
Give it a little rest, don't force yourself. Even just reinstalling all the DRM RSS VRC mods, as you mentioned, and the related content takes time.
Start from the mods that give you quick gratification, good feeling, the reasons that got you involved in AC.

Me three and it was the best thing to happen to my AC in a long while. It cured me of what was becoming a bit of a Pokemon experience and now my collection is of much higher quality and takes up much less drive space. Ironically filling the drives with ***** might have led to the failure in the first place so it is win win, win and probably more wins I can't think of. Which is a win.

Try to download the zip-file again. It might be corrupted

No there are not good, just try the Audi carmods members did posted here recently, containing mega loads of opinions about good/bad and what to improve. So that’s solved!

It's quite funny that 1982, 1983 and 1984 SD cars are very troublesome but the 1988 cars and the 1988 F1 season that I created is probably the most accurate of them all (results wise). It's a genuine Senna vs Prost duel.

Realize many (most) here are in Europe, the time difference can be quite big.
In my case its +10 hours from USA west coast. When you are going to bed, I am waking up and vice-a-versa
