Ingame, have you tried oppening the "video settings" and playing with the shadow definition? There's often a problem between 1024pix and 4048pix. I don't know why but i noticed it on many cars especially on rounded shapes under the rear spoil.

I left it at 1024pix for better perfs but it does look like the exact same glitches on the Gadu Boyz TZ2. Definitly triggered by shadow distance rendering.
Thanks, yes I did wonder if it was tied to shadow settings but unfortunately it is the mesh that is missing. (the grey color you see is the reflector behind the missing part) . I suspect it is related to my previous disappearing interior mirror.(not solved either)

I resumed the project after a long time, at least this time I restored the bodywork beforehand. In addition to the body, I also recreated the undertray from scratch. The rims, oddly enough, were the easiest part to do. I don't know when it will be released, this also applies to the other mods.

By the way, this also works in the opposite direction, towards reduction, the original sound with 10,000 revolutions can be compressed, for example, to 8,000, and you will hear the sound of hitting the cutoff at 8,000.
Thanks a lot for this info man, helped a lot with good sounds that i wanted to use in high rev. cars (specially F1´s). One more thing, is there a CSP turnaround to make older soundmods work in the "new" format? In particular those that only work in the cockpit view and are mute outside (tried messing with the .guid file and using the same line - those crazy numbers and letters lol, and putting the same line inside and outside, but with no luck). There are some cool old DFV sound mods that are outdated.

Maybe i missed something but i didn't find a good :
GP2 mod
F3000

Perhaps? I love this car:

Yeah i tried this and it didn't helped. The problem is with my CSP i guess cuz this happens even with pure not installed. When i apply CSP even the normal version, Weather FX turned off, not the preview ver, snowflakes starts to appear out of nowhere. Im gonna try finding some solution but i really hope i dont have to reinstall my game cuz it has more than 600gb of things downloaded :D

That looks for sure a CSP issue.Vanilla AC dosnt have snow does it?
You can do an integrity check in Steam,it wont touch your downloads, just replace any altered AC files.Have you tried using Content manager to completely uninstall CSP? (there is a delete patch button in CSP about page)
Then try a different version.(I use 0.2.3 for now because it has the fewest bugs)
I dont have rain capability so maybe your problem lies with the versions that provide rain?(dont know how CSP makes snow...paid version?)

Snow is from the latest paid CSP.

I had a missing piece of tail light in LOD C but I fixed the mesh in Blender. (I noticed it missing because it was gone ingame...WHILE IN LOD A)
It looks perfect in CMshowroom.Ingame it still is missing despite being repaired.Close up,it is correct...a little further out and it disappears despite still showing the car in LOD A.
I can find nothing in the extension_config file or the lights.ini.It may be a coincidence that the missing mesh just happened to actually be missing in LOD C. But that is pretty farfetched.
help me................... aaargh!

EDIT...I dropped all LODs but A,and it still is missing. That narrows it down some...I guess...
Definately triggered by distance.
Not affected by the cars ext_config.

Can you tell me what kind of skins these are and where I can get them? Thank you very much

Perhaps? I love this car:

I hope one day someone makes the previous model 2005-2007, it was much more fun. My favorite formula car

It's weird that no one has ever converted the rfactor mod

try to activate the item in csp - setting - general patch setting - audio - use interior sound everywhere

Snowflakes are just part of the latest CSP preview 0.2.7p1.
With Pure there is a build in logic that Rain becomes snow with air temperatures below 3°C. So maybe just set the temp higher than that in CM Drive menu or ingame with Pure Planner.

And if you see them in the "normal" public free version it just means, that CSP is not installed properly. I guess the dwrite.dll is still the one from the 0.2.7p1. You could just delete it in your AC root folder and reinstall CSP whatever version.

This is my advice for all people:
If you have a preview version of CSP, better install it manually:
Delete the dwrite.dll in AC root folder.
Open the CSP preview zip file and EXTRACT the "dwrite.dll" and the "extension" folder to your AC root folder (Steam install folder of AC "common\assettocorsa").

But just gain the air temperature and you have rain again....

Hey, what is the best and most authentic looking and driving 928 GTS mod?

Found this. Anyone tried it?

Also is there a decent mod of R129 Mercedes 600 SL? One that actually looks like the original car? All I found are mods that have blacked out rear lights, lowered stance, etc.

I have missed the latest CSP developments, but what’s actually the point of these Snow function?
I mean I have never seen track racing on snow or snowy conditions….

Except rally or rallycross and stuff like this in scandinavia or elsewhere.

Actually AC and esp AC/CSP is not only a race sim. It is at least 50% a driving sim. And there are a lot of people that just cruise on big tracks...

I think you have missed more than just latest CSP developments.
Take a look at Overtake (former Race Department). there are literally dozens of winter/snow layouts for all kind of tracks (even kart tracks), so the CSP snow seems a nice addition:

Thats a good point. Somehow I saw it only from my perspective (as racer only)

Yeah, did that already, but unfortunately it affects all cars when enabled. I was wondering if there were some sort of turnaround using the config of a specific car to tweak this. Also took some time reading github files but i guess its a deadend. Anyway, thanks for the help!

try editing GUIDs.txt of a specific machine.
in all paired lines like:
{94f04703-a92c-49cf-a097-734f3e79ec08} vca:/vca_engine_ext
{ff157bb9-ecc1-49da-ad82-5e42fecb2ac9} vca:/vca_engine_int

take a set of numbers from the line with "_int" and insert it into the line with "_ext" you should get something like this

{ff157bb9-ecc1-49da-ad82-5e42fecb2ac9} vca:/vca_engine_ext
{ff157bb9-ecc1-49da-ad82-5e42fecb2ac9} vca:/vca_engine_int

THIS gotta be really my cup of tea, Pyynikki is splendid. Though for greediness sake, I would be really keen on hearing everyone' suggestions of tracks for this type of low-powered AI racing.
I used to really enjoy the Pribram rally "Loop of Madness" racing layout from Simtraxx, but for some reason, probably CSP update related, the start/finish position is not at the same spot it used to be, and AI is broken now... https://simracing.blckbox.net/TrackDetails.php?TrackID=simtraxx_pribram

On a positive note, I would suggest Kicevo and Usce, both from Lemax, to race in circle. Slea Heads from Yochang and of course the Union Island Scenic layout from Ben O'Bro, for a racing/cruising experience, though I believe for these last 2, AI leaves a bit to be desired.
Everything is available on Breathe's list

You're missing the recent Meadowdale 1963 WIP https://www.overtake.gg/threads/meadowdale-raceway-1963.271559/, that is going to be amazing once it gets some work done. The road feeling is great, it's a technical one with lots of elevation changes, and the road and basic scenery are already perfect. It still lacks everything else lol. Worth it, again, to invite ohyeah2388 on the thread, his track so far seems to have gone off most people radar.

On the side of something else: Does anyone happen to know what to do with Climaxf1? Nothing has heard of him since July.I found his improvements no matter whether track or car great!I miss him!
