Btw how do u get stuff from Codemasters game ? I know how to extract textures but not the objects. Wanna rip some trees that were left out of ACU's port of Korea...

All those trees in the background are missing in the AC port for some reason lol

Wrong file uploaded? Is this supposed to be a reskinned m3 e30?

This is a really cute way to get modders to keep engaged. Yes that option has been done to death already years ago, we check CSP and mock the modder.
Most people who have been around in AC for long enough do their own physics anyway...
Also 'similar' to an E30 could just be the same suspension layout, now I'm not a MK3 escort fan nor E30 fan so I don't know, but you'd be amazed if I told you that each car ever made doesn't have a totally different suspension layout to the next one....

It was just a question. I enjoy driving old cars and the description specifically mentioned "physics" as a highlight, which peaked my interest. So I was surprised when I noticed it's just a disguised M3 E30. Wouldn't be the first time someone uploads the wrong file and doesn't notice it.

Here they are, VRC's new tourer addition!

Yeah i already got them and they are good and fun (Waiting fore good skins now). But one thing is weird, they are allot easier to drive than the last ones - the Peugeot and Renault. They seems even easier to master than the first pack.
Anyway i will try to BOP them quickly for my Supertourers BOP Project.

Need to be in Dev Mode (click on the build version on the About page) then go to Settings, Content Manager, Dev then tick the box "while analyzing, check some extra cars' details". When you have done that, go to a car and at the bottom where the showroom, preview and setups buttons are there should be a button called Analyze

https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/492877-sketchfab (need tampermonkey extension on your favorite browser), once the script is added it'll automatically pop a download button in sketchfab when you view a 3D model
Does it work tho ? Cuz when I try to view a car in 360 mode it just loads and loads and loads and somehow eats my memory until my PC freezes - and when I uncheck the extension the model loads but the script doesn't lmao

it's stuck there and won't move again, ****

lmfao no you need to be on the sketchfab website, not the embeded sketchfab.

For that you need to inspect element and take the url of the model

up till embeded, and then paste on your browser you'll find the sketchfab page and the download button on top

Hi, is there any update to this? I am using ac.grand.prix.1993 - RMi overhaul v1.0 but the car performace is not very accurate.

Your FW15C at Hockenheim (1992 track) will not go faster than 309 kph no matter what gearing or aero (Reality 1993 FW15C top speed at Hockenheim was: 340.69 kph (Hill)

Your FW15C at Adelaide (1992 track) max aero top speeds are 268 kph Backstraight and 225 kph Start finish. In reality FW15C top speeds at Adelaide: Backstraight: Hill: 297.03 kph (Friday), Start Finish Line: Hill: 248.14kph (Friday)

Unless you're into using Assetto for photography or have a strong preference for the visual side of things, it's useful. Why bother with 20 different "versions" of the same car that only change how it looks, when you can just drive the original?

in an everlasting attempt to get stutter-free driving (in VR) in AC , I was trying to turn off Shadows ...

in SETTINGS - AC- VIDEO section, I put Shadow resolution = Off

( and also turned off Smart Shadows section in CSP )

You'd think that would be enough... but still CSP render stats show a lot of effort going to "Sun Shadow" !?

How to disable that Sun Shadow then?

(and why = Shadow resolution "Off" not enough? CSP should use that setting and see that there are no shadows to be rendered, no?
is that a too logical way of thinking? ;) )

EDIT: never mind, found it , disabling weather FX was the solution to get rid of the Sun Shadow... :)

I was going to have a look... I dont even have that mod installed any more heh.

All I can suggest is to play with the CD (coefecient of drag) in the aero.ini and its associated entries (lower the CD until you get the speed you want).

After almost six months to continue the Mille Miglie '55 simulation and recover the lost car/track content.

This is "Group 7" of five participating cars.

I drove the Mercedes 300 SL (Gendebien/Washer) at around 7:30 a.m.

The other three I've already posted videos of (around 4:00 a.m.) had very poor cockpit visibility, as did the TV cameras.

You can see in this one that I used Pacific Coast.
In total, there will be 23 groups of 4 or 5 cars for this stage.

Hi guys, I'm wondering if anybody knows how to remove this from the under side of the Renault 5 Turbo? It's not the only mod I have seen this on, and although it's really tiny, now I can't unsee it in the replays. Any help would be appreciated.

When downloads just stall out like this, what is happening? It usually happens on skin packs like this. That window will sit there forever and eventually I just have to cancel it.

Thanks for replying. Is it the CD_GAIN=X value? Because that value is present for all 4 different wings in aero.ini (front, rear, body, diffuser and diffuser_f). I'm assuming I'd have to adjust it downwards.

Let me know if you want the mod and overhaul again I can send it to you.

The same problem exists with the very good ASR FW15C model, acceleration and speeds are not 1:1 with reality.

Yes the CD_GAIN entries adjusted down would be a good place to start.
I did eventually find both the mod and the addon in my archives.

Two others I made are for the F1 1990 by RSS and the F1 1991 by ASR
(I dont know if some of these additions/features were incorporated in newer versions of the mods)
