I've personally never seen a Lupo cup in AC.

I already did those, maybe JK didn't include them in his pack but if you want them I can give it to you. I basically redid the raceroom skins from scratch in 4K and it was a right pain the arse lol

Blimey you did those skins all from scratch? i'm not sure i could do that but im glad you did. they were not inluded in the upload from jk, so i assumed you hadn't touched them.

Your an absolute animal..........how long did that take you to do them all? i did think about doing those 5 from scratch but i just couldn't bring myself to get that involved the BTCC Escort drained my soul .

while your here i also want to say 8k x 4k is so much better your skins look alot sharper 4k x 2k don't cut it for me but thats my opinion i guess.

its funny you mentioned those "dots" i was looking at them yesterday thinking................how the f did you do that. Stuff like that is really tough to get right not to mention tedious.

And still about my last post: Some people say that Antoinelli will have a chance. I doubt it. As much as I dislike Russell, I must admit that he's very good driver and definitely will be the #1 title favorite. Antonelli is talented and fast but still unexperienced and seems to be a bit of a hothead (like Mansell, Alesi-type) and prone to mistakes.

And fun fact:

Last Italian World Champion is Alberto Ascari, who won consecutive titles in 1952 and 1953. There have been 107 Italian F1 drivers in F1 history. Only 3 titles, that's not a good tally.

Someone could say Mario Andretti who's Italian-American. We can give them that hehe.

We Finns had nine drivers (which of Leo Kinnunen started 1 GP and Mikko Kozarowitzky never started a GP) and we have four titles. Five, if you count Nico (who's half-Finn). Sorry I had to brag.

If you use 7zip and its own Extract button it will use its own copy/extraction functions and don't use Windows Explorer at all.
If you drag'n'drop files out of it, Windows Explorer is used.

So for AC mods, only use 7zip and its Extract button.

Ok for example, I'm trying to extract the highlighted folder.



Right click it, go to 7zip, extract files.



This brings up the next window.



Click the three dots to the right? If I do it brings up the directory or file list or whatever you call it. But where is that supposed to go? It can't go to assettocorsa like it is? It can't go into the cars folder like it is? If you're going to do it this way don't you have to get to the final folder, in this case the actual skin folder, in order to put it into that car's skin folder? Opening up the main folder seems to remove the option to use 7zip.

It wasn't just the sound, my dear... I said V10 just to pick something; almost any season before the hybrid era would do...

Well my point was that just dumping the hybrid isn't going to accomplish much, that probably wasn't amazingly clear because I was too busy kind of ragebaiting/funposting for my own entertainment, but all that to say I don't think dumping the hybrid is going to fix things by itself, given that other series manage to incorporate them just fine because the rest of the car is designed in a reasonable manner.

Those MX-5 Cup boys are bonkers! I love watching their racing, its just wild, especially at Daytona.

But you are right, mainstream motorsport has become rather dull. Even BTCC is rather boring to watch now.

I'm in America, so at least I still have local dirt tracks. The drivers of wingless 410 sprints might be the most suicidal group of racing drivers, those things are nuts.

Bigger, faster and "grippier" cars don't help, neither do all those flat and uninteresting tracks.

And since "sim racing is real racing with fake cars", I'll say it's exactly the same: less F1/GT3s, more low power machinery.
Ah, the fun I had racing with the Skoda Octavia or the Altezza cup cars... 🥰

Personally I feel that GT3 is near the ceiling of what is reasonable. LMH/LMDH also gets a pass from me but I'm extremely biased.


Anyway I see our Brazilian friend FSR did a couple of the LMU LMP3s and the RAM Craftsman truck. No idea where he would have gotten that RAM from but I assume iHtuning will do the LMP3s at least to rain on FSR's parade, as he did with the Valkyrie and ARX-06. (It's quite funny when he does this, you love to see a hater feeling himself.)

This is like nonsense, because you extract it to a certain folder like "Downloads" and then you copy it again to AC root folder, and guess what is involved in the copy process then! Windows Explorer!

I recommend this way, so you are always safe that everything is extracted properly:

Just associate 7zip to zip and rar files:

Scroll all the way down:

And select the 7zFM.exe

Then just doubleclick the zip and 7zip will open and with this you make 2 good things, you see what you extract and then you mark it and then you hit the extract button and choose the AC root folder directly:

So you also see what content you will extract. If you see "content" or "system" or any of the main folders aof the AC root you can directly extract it there. If its just a car folder or something, just use the "..." button and then select the content/cars/ folder in the AC root.

And so NO Windows Defender and NO Windows Explorer is involved in this...

Yes that Austria crash on Verstappen was really decisive. Looking back now, it was the crash the took the title from Max. I was surprised how lightly Max took it. It was an idiotic rookie mistake by Antonelli.

I'd argue that Max deliberately crashing into Russell in Barcelona cost him the title. Dude has never changed, the 2023 season when he had the absolute best car and could disappear into the distance warped most people's perception of him - of course he was chiller and wasn't resorting to his good old antics to win a race, but everything went back to normal in 2024 and 2025.

Max is pretty pissed off of the new F1 cars and the hybrid monstrosity which FIA wanted to install in new cars. I don't Max will have motivation to continue on F1 if nothing changes. Actually also LeClerc, Norris and many other drivers have complained about the new cars too. Max likes the GT cars... maybe we'll see him quit F1 after this season and move to the GT cars who knows.

I just watched some 2003 and 2005 F1 footage with Kimi, Alonso, Montoya, Schumacher... and the sounds, the atmosphere, the races... so much more entertaining. It's not the current drivers' fault... no they are still just as skilled as the old legends. it's FIA that's the problem... they have made F1 way more "sterile" with all these silly regulations. Nobody really likes hybrids in any shape or form. Look how badly the new hybrid Porsches and Ferraris depreciate and they have a tough time to sell them.

Drivers want the V10's back, fans want them back... but FIA wants them to drive soulless electric cars.

PS: Mercedes looks totally superior. So much that I predict a very boring season. Last season was interesting because Max was able to compete against slightly faster McLarens but I think Merc has just too big of an advantage now.

The first race of 2026 was better than the first races of Verstappen's championship era. Many fans are happy to not see his and redbulls boring wins anymore, Now it is Mercedes turn again. i and millions of others of us F1 fans couldnt care less if Verstappen leaves for sportscars, Hulkenburg, Alonso and Kubica did it better by winning lemans. The nurburgring 24hours nobody watches.
