Hi. I always liked car games with detailed info about cars especially with power torque curves and other numbers.
Please send it, no promise that it will be ready soon, but at some point.

@Tony Maestoso. There was physics update for v2. But i did not understand from Your post did You like it better than v1.2 or worse?
I'll send it over to you via PM. Regards the new Alfa Evo physics, they are night and day to before, having owned a 3ltr 75 and a 2ltr 75 with the djion its remarkably accurate.
Another fun fact the Alfa SZ is basically a 75 with a different dress on. Having said that my alfa 155's were built on the FIAT tipo chassis and the Alfa 155 Q4 is underneath a Lancia Delta Intergrale.

 
Hello everyone, I’m writing here again after a long time: is there a mod for AC based on the 1952 and 1955 editions of the 24 Hours of Le Mans?

much much better and faster with last upgrade compared the previously upgrade

the A310 race car was from rnoir off racedepartment/overtake.
the 512 BB/LM is remco & abbo90's version.
the 924 GTP is an RMi_Wood mod.
and the 934 Turbo is a Pfalzdriver mod.

The A310 mod technically says it's a "Group 5" car but it lacks the aero of the car that actually raced in Group 5 at Le Mans in 1977, and the car was more active in Group 4 (mostly in rallying), so I put it there instead.

The Alfa brakes seem too good to me. 100mph to standstill in 50 foot? anyone else?
Hi. well spotted. i discovered a bug in aero parameters, when You press brakes hard, car is pitching and drag coefficient jumps from 50 to 2000 which acts as massive air brake. This will be corrected soon.

upd:
Ok its fixed now. Just redownload from OP.
So small typo in lut file installed aero brake on that classic Alfa 😀, now brake will be not so instant, but still good.

Thank @k_p very much for this mod! Just in case if You ever port another car from EVO i would be happy to see M4 CLS. 😋

Have you tried to alter the shadow setting in CM for this? On which level do you currently have it set?

I'll soon be finishing my latest track: "Rallye du Touquet, Créquy-St Michel sous Bois". Since I've seen the expertise of some of you here on the technical aspects I'm lacking, perhaps you can help me with a very annoying problem...

Some road edges are saved as alpha blends to create a chiseled border above the tarmac.

This works well, except at night when car headlights illuminate these grassy embankments, making them far too bright and luminous... Here are some images from day and night... Grass FX is disactived. Left border is ksperpixel, right is alphablend.

First time i've been on your website, and i must say i love the write ups you do, makes me feel a bit giddy and reminds me of the old days where games came with a hand book and stuff to read to get you emersed. I'm thinking as a stand out the old SCAR Alfa game on xbox, still one of the best game hand books ever, aside from the games that used to come with big poster maps of game areas like Oblivion.

Do you fancy having a go at this? Its a lot of fun on the physics i've used, but would be ace to have someone with actual skills to have a poke around. You up for it, if so i can send it to you.View attachment 1536438
Thanks to your message I also checked out Assetto Workshop! Going to try them all out tomorrow, keep it up Pilot!!!!

Thanks for fix, I updated it too in download section.

I don't say no about M4 CLS because AC Evo are easy and fast to convert but I think Renault Espace F1 from GT7 will by my next public mod after I post GT40 MK IV, shown a few pages ago, but it may also need physics.

I worked on Le Mans 1977 earlier and used the A310 I found on Assetto World. Alpine Renault A310 V6 Gr5 (Gravel).

It is a rally car so you need to change the physics, but the model looks 99% like the one that raced at Le Mans.

Hi. You could just install only 2.1 it's already has updated physics.
@k_p that "F1 minivan" I believe there is already some versions of it available, but its not something Im interested, so I don't know how good it is, probably it can be improved. But GT40 mk iv is available from Bazaa's pack and it's really good, I don't think it needs new physics, maybe You could have his permission to use physics for Your model?

Working on the sounds for the Vipers, the GTS will be moved to D class instead of C Class as I think the GTS wouldn't fare too well against the likes of the SE30, F40 and Yellowbird from C Class.

The GTS/R will be in A Class while the Viper Comp will be BOP'd into B Class; the GTS/R will be based on the specs of the 1996 GT1 version so it will be one of the lower tier A Class cars similar to the DBR9.
Due to this the cars while being based on PGR4 physics will still have characteristic of the class they are in, meaning top LMP1/LMP2 machines like the GT-ONE, Radical SR9 and F333 SP will excel in handling and downforce, while the older GT1 cars such as the F1 GTR and CLK GTR GT1 will be faster on the straights and acceleration due to being ran on derestricted motors, while the BPR era cars like the XJ220 GT1, F50 GT and F1 LM have slightly worse handling than the 1997/1998 GT1 cars they are faster on the straights or speed based tracks which makes for very close races with the classes.
The 2000s era GT1 cars like the S7R, DBR9 and RGT are basically a combination of all of the above and really depend on skill and overall difficulty as at max 100% strength the AI are impossible to beat atleast for me no matter the car chosen.

The RUF RGT will be put into C Class as it was in PGR4 along with the Diablo SE30 which wasn't originally in the game but I feel fits the theme of the class. The car is finished but the sound needs to be reworked as the transition pitched are off for some of the samples.

B Class is 90% complete with only the Viper and Diablo GT not being fully finished yet, I plan on releasing both B class and the extra cars from C Class next in the next couple of hours. I also believe I may have fixed the previous issues with the Pagani Zonda C12-S 7.3 and will also include that into B Class along with the Isdera Commendatore 112i since they use the same motor and the Isdera is such a cool car.

I will hopefully have D and E Class finished at the end of the month as I have been busy with other projects at the moment but have abit more freetime now.
