The MP7 does use a lot of ammo fast.

Use short bursts of fire...that's the same with every other auto gun you use. Otherwise there's just too much recoil and you end up hitting nothing.

Got all my basic badges except for the explosives one. That is freaking hard to get.

The AGP Aperture size did not improve anything for me, looks like I have to buy some more ram then.

Looks like I might lay off BF2 for awhile and play some NFS:MW. Since school is started and my mom hates teh PC games but she never said nothing about playing XBOX games. Close to Staff Sergeant. Got about 300 GS to go.

I installed BF2 & SF on my new PC that i got at Christmas and my god the levels load fast now! It took around 1/2 minutes on my old PC depending on whether it had to readjust after settings got changed, but now a game will load in about 15 seconds I'm pretty certain that's down to the 2 Gigs of RAM. I now usually one of the first people on to the maps, so i'm getting a lot of jet practice in
New PC runs the game at 1280x1024 with everything on high and 4x AA. Looks blimmin' gorgeous and is still smooth as 👍

Lucky... I'm running all low, 2xAA, 1024x768 and I still get lag. Need another stick of RAM methinks.

Is anyone having problems with the SF Map servers. I always get a "Server does not allow modified content."

But the normal maps work just fine.

After I installed BF2, it worked fine, it ran on all high settings. Now im having problems, the game wont start, the BF2 logo pops up, it gets to the first intro, and kicks me back into windows. What could this be?

Yes, the extra weapons you can use in regular BF2 rule 👍.

Expect for the grappling hook and zipline, but you can use flash bangs on the default BF2 maps.

Yes, Flashbangs + Knife = pwnage. It's just like my CS days, except these flashbangs work a lot better. I think I got around 12-14 knife kills in one round on FuShe Pass (a VERY open map) just by using flashies and running at them.

Nearly at 6,000 points, Gunnery Sergeant will be mine soon.

The only mod I have is the 32Bot mod for BF2 before SF, and never had any problems with it.

I"m not the only encountering this, and the other person has no mods as he had just recieved it.

I think the mod might be messing around with SF, one time when I installed a mod before the 1st or 2nd patch everything was working fine. Then when that patch came out it made me not connect to any servers.

Well I'll try getting rid of the mod and replacing the original files.

Don't worry about it, it's saved on EA servers not on your PC. It's the same way with the fact that you can play your username on a friend's version of BF2.

Got all my basic badges, and I'm 2 minutes away from getting my Veteran Assault badge .

Nearly at 7,000 points too, so yeah. I'm still unsure of what guns to unlock when I reach Gunnery Sergeant. :\

Dodge I take it you use the F2000 in Assault class. Unless you do not have SF or you do, look I forgotten if you have SF or not.

I use the F2000. I haven't got my Veteran Assault yet which is strange because I have gotten 20 kills in one round with the Assault kit. Guess I'll just have to try again.

After that I'll go back to medic and SpecOps. The G36C is better than the G36E

Got to Staff Sergeant. Unlocked the L85A1 then immediately after got the G36E. The M16A2 is alright but the G36E seems fine, probably use the SA80 in more open maps. Next i'll probably unlock both Assault guns or Both Engineer unlocks. I'm at 5313GS. Once I'm at gunny sergeant I'll be happy because that's where I was at on my last account. But you only need like 8500GS for Gunny and My last account was at 13800GS.
