I'm trying to get the challenges done anyway... Nearly got the Mini-Uzi and Snipers - just the Scorpion, Mini-Uzi, R700 and M21 to go.

The Mini-Uzi is the most frustrating weapon evAr. It's like a pea shooter.

I hope you're using the silencer. It reduces the kickback. Oh and I've red-tiger'd it twice. Nya nyah. Once I get 109 more headshots with the AK-74u I'll have the golden one. Yaaaaaaaaay.

Also, the Skorpion is more frustrating for headshots IMO.

I find the Silencer weaker, but yeah, kickback is less. Still horrible. I hope the Scorpion is better.

To do: 130 headshots with the M21, 60 headshots with the R700 (got about 8 in a game this very minute), 50 headshots with the Mini-Uzi and 140 with the Scorpion.

Edit: make that 100 for the M21...

I got 26 headshots with the M21 on Shipment. Use this setup:

M21 with Advanced Combat Optical Gunsight
Perk 1: Bandolier or 3 stun grenades
Perk 2: Stopping Power (headshots are one-hit)
Perk 3: Steady Aim

Aim when you can, and go prone or hide in a container whilst reloading (which you'll be doing a lot of.)

Ive been doing a lot more sniping lately. Its just fun. And I think im gonna stop prestiging and just try to get all the gun challenges done. I just know I wont ever play it to the 10th prestige, so why waste my time? And now that Im paying a lot more attention to trying to get headshots, I just do better in general. I red tigered the M4 extremely quickly once I actually tried to aim for the head.

I'd be interested to see everybody's kill/headshot ratio. I'm somewhere around 57,000 kills (I think) with about 7500 headshots. Which puts me at 7.6 kills per headshot. (if I did the math right, which I probably didn't.)

Hey, I tried that M21 setup on Shipment and worked out pretty well on Team Tactical. I got about 6 headshots until my connection disconnected itself, making the headshots not count.

Play hardcore it won't take much to take anyone down in there.

I dont make many headshots, I always aim for the bodie, which makes it hard to get headshots for guns.

129k kills and 9600 headshots. My ratio isn't that good. I don't aim for the head unless I know I have a high chance of hitting it because if I always try the shots miss a lot more.

Play hardcore it won't take much to take anyone down in there.

Yeah, it's a lot better on that, but much less time available to place a headshot so I'm going to suffer the normal modes.

Meh I'm the same way. I get headshots here and there anyway by luck and whenever I find some enemy camping and he doesn't see me I take my time and aim for the head.

85 kills, 15 headshots. 5.6 kills per headshot.

I'll reiterate again. I rule.

Almost the same game but M14 is the best gun ev3r. Three main guns:

M14 + RDS (medium to long range)
3x Frag
Stopping Power
Steady Aim

M249 SAW + Grip (close range maps)
Sleight of Hand
Steady Aim

Barrett .50 (medium to long range[usually overgrown only])
RPG x2
Stopping Power
Steady Aim (i'm not sure on this one doesn't make sense to have SA)

I'm an RPD guy, plus I usually hate hip-firing. But this sounds so interesting, I think I'm gonna have to try it out......

Mind you I don't have stopping power because I play hardcore it's not really necessary. With the grip it's accuracy bar is almost maxed out.

I got my x-0 KD challenge I forgot what it's called. (Basically a flawless match)

Then just today got my collateral damage challenge completed by the same gun as my first time 'round. (Barrett .50)
