Heated matches does sometimes results in stuff like that. Few nights ago, in team tactical against three gold crosses(they are all jerks, especially c_..... never mind), they actually won, and were crying, calling us campers. I actually was. :p Anyways, my buddy who didn't have the headset on, he actually hooks it up, accuses them of using juggernaut and noob tube(that's a grenade launcher, Casio :p). It was more entertaining than the actual match. :D

Edit:
The best is when an annoying clan/player becomes silent after you own them.
No no no no no. That would be when they start mumbling excuses. I give them credit for actually sticking around though.

UAV jammer is very useful on TT, but good lord is it annoying  UAV Jammer + Extreme Conditioning = winning a domination match on a medium-large map. Downpour comes to mind. Team Tactical is by far the most frustrating mode, because many clans resort to dirty tactics. Whatever algorithm the game uses to determine spawn distance from HQ's is broken. It's only saving grace is it's stability.

Before my disk broke I played with a guy who loved TT, we were playing a match at bloc and before the match these 3 British level 10's were exclaiming about how they owned so much (of course in their high pitched young British voices) Our team (Me, my friend and one of his friends) murdered them and they preceded to whine about it in the lobby after wards. Saying that my G3 w/ iron sight was "hacked" to shoot across the map head shots (>:-D) and my friend's MP5 was a noob gun. We killed them the next 2 matches as well.

From,
Chris.

I think a 3v3 HCTD would be fun. I got accused of using an aimbot once when I shot a scoped Dragunov blindly into smoke and got a headshot

Before I learned the map, I suspected people using aimbots. There were times I get shot, and I couldn't even see myself in the replay! But after playing some, learning where many players position themselves, I started getting those shots myself.

Lately though, my opponents have been hitting me accidentally. Sometimes, I'd be running behind total cover. I'm going WTF!, and when I watch the replay, the bastard's shooting at somebody else, completely missing(except me!).

Ooooh yeah we get that a lot. The say "we're going to own you", " I hate brits - go drink your tea and crumpets!". We beat them in a game they become silent and then leave.

There's worse people online. You see people that are level 2, no prestige, in HQ. Then you wonder what the hell they're doing.

Then you kill them.

Reading all this stuff makes me sad in a way because i got a new job and i am away from home allot, most of the time a week or more at a time so i can't play my precious cod4. But the 1,600 a week i make sort of makes up for it :) I am going to get a case and start bringing my breakbox 360 with me so i can play at the hotel :)

So I went 23 and 1 a couple games ago on Bloc with the semi-auto shotgun. :odd:

I made a class with the M14 as my starter gun and see how that goes. Most of the time overkill sets look good on screen but when I actually use them they don't work as well as i had hoped.

I went 34-3 on Strike.

Me and another guy just owned a whole lot of lvl55s.

Woohoo, 4000th reply in this thread!

I just experimented with Overkill again. Probably third, fourth time.

This time around, it was MP5 as my primary, and to compensate for the lack of range, G3(that semi-auto rifle?) as my secondary. It worked out OK, but only problem is, I get shot a lot. While I just about ever never use Juggernaut, I do use stopping power to drop the enemy before I actually drop. :sly:

I think I'm better off just sticking with the MP5 + stopping power, just concentrating on a close(r) kills.

I tend to use an automatic gun as a primary, and a sniper as my secondary.

Good all-round class.

Had a great set of games, I must've had 4:1 ratio every time! I went 25-1 HCTD at Backlot and matched my kill streak (21) :)

waggles , I tried to add you but it said your PSN-ID wasn't registered.

For me Overkill is a perk that works best in Hardcore matches, that way the lack of the much needed 'stopping power' doesn't cause as much of a problem.

I tend to run a hardcore set-up of a P90/RDS with M14/ACOG and find it does give a good balance between close quarters and range, as the M14/ACOG has all the raneg you need on almost all maps.

@ceiling_fan-I wouldn't see you online much, we're in completely opposite time zones.
You can add me if you want however-snrsgtmol
And thanks for pointing it out.

Well we play with Casio a lot and hes from Australia. He lags pretty bad sometimes but we still have fun. You should play with him a lot.

I would get online on average about 4:30PM GMT+10, see how that works for you.

Seeing I have school etc.

I agree, overkill is a great hardcore perk (only out valued by UAV jammer i think). When i use overkill, i carry an MP5SD with either a G3 RDS or M16 RDS.

Normal games i use an MP5SD with either jammer or stopping power (map depending), or an M16 with stopping power for longer range maps.

I've found that on average, being the host has about the same effect as using Stopping Power. Yesterday during my red-hot matches (:p) I used UAV Jammer or Sleight of Hand and people were dropping approximately as fast as if I was using SP. Like 4 bullets on a silenced AK from the hip at close range. CQC is unbelievably improved while hosting. I managed about 20 matches hosting when my internet crapped out, and it was 4 o'clock in the morning so I went to bed. :ouch: I was playing with a couple of really good guys, a match on Shipment HQ had us, the top 3, with over 100 kills and no more than 30 deaths apiece. I would have had more but I got chopper-blocked so I could've had some more airstrikes.

It truly makes all the difference in the world. Next time we party up, lets see if we can host some games. Even just having a good connection and not being the host makes it a lot easier. That match that I went 30-4 with you, I had four bars and I could tell that the other team only had two bars or so, just because i was picking them off before they had a chance to draw their weapons.

Yea, when I have a really bad connection I quit to save the slaughter.

I'm now completely hooked on MP5SD + Jammer sneaking action, being the lone ranger with this set up is extremely effective. It basically means the map is your oyster, if you know the backways you can cause the enemy absolute havoc once you get in behind the lines. Particularly on Pipeline, the tunnel which gives you access to basically the entire map is so underestimated, grab a jammer and a silenced weapon and just keep moving from place to place. I choose the MP5 (with no camo) purely for a true special forces style of play.

I wonder what would happen if a group of players did it though, I've never had more then one partner doing it with me.

Ahhh the UAV + MP5...simply fantastic although i prefer the p90, both are great for those lone wolf days. Off point real quick and please don't laugh i played HQ for the first time today! I was a bit lost with what i had to do, but it was fun! I tried to capture the HQ's but my team was still on the losing end...i know there has to be more to it but all in all i enjoyed it alot. I also had a revelation...The RPD is useless, funny though that it used to be my gun of choice, why? i have no idea! I though the it's power was un-matched compared to the other weapons, and boy was i wrong. An Ak o G36 work sooo much better in the field. But anyways this is getting a bit long and i just wanted to share my thoughts on my day of COd4..now back to the mayhem :)

That was a pretty short post i think :)

But anyway, I don't use the P90 as I am very anti-P90, I believe it is to strong a weapon and you can carry a ridiculous amount of ammo and spray everywhere and rack up kills. As a purist (and dare I say a pretty good COD4 player) I feel giving myself one is just unfair on those i come up against. I don't hate those who use it, but I want to work for my kills and with the experience I have, it's just to easy with a P90.

I choose the MP5 as it is such a classic weapon and I've always enjoyed it on every game it's available on. Only gun i've prefered is probably the UMP on Vegas 1, but we don't get one on COD or an equivalent.

Myself also don't use the P90 as it encourages me to spray out to everyone. I use the Uzi though as it is the only smg that orks for me well.

I think I'm gonna give P90 a another chance. :p Then again, I'm above average, but I'm not that good. :D

What I like about RPD, or other LMG's for that matter, you don't have to reload as often.

Interesting. I hardly ever play Hardcore, it never occured to me!

Just a question-how do you know that you are the one hosting the match?
I'm not 100% on this, and ceeling_fun can tell you for sure. From what I understand, when the match is just starting, when you push 'select' to see the player lineup, just for a second or two, most everybody's bars(connection indicator) goes red(just 1 bar), except one person will have full connection(I think 5 bars). That guy with the full connection is the host.

I forgot, I think I've read that also, if you are the first guy in the match, you are the host.

1: You see "Waiting for other players" at the top of the screen at any time while in the lobby.

2: Your Connection is a perfect 4 bar, and everyone else has 3 or less.

Atleast that's how I tell.

From,
Chris.

But being from Melbourne you'll never host and have 1-2 bars 90% of the time :). Which part of Melbourne are you from?

Yeah, I don't mind playing with you guys with a little bit of lag, it's more fun playing with people you know. That said, I usually on at strange hours like 9am-noon or 2am.
