I don't run, but I do occasionally end up on the receiving end........ in the behind. Nothing like starting a game with 3, 4 kill streak. Looking for another kill to get an airstrike, then you are shot from the back. Good job guys.

I was just like, wow when i read that because i use that exact set-up on creek sometimes and do the same thing:tup: One match i was on the downside of the creek which sucks starting there but i got to the top and of course there were about 3 snipers on the roof of the one house and you know they set claymore inside the house and as you go up the ladder. Well, there is a 2nd way on to the roof that seems like hardly anyone knows about. I'm sure most of you vets do, its jumping on the hotwater heater and all that jazz. Well i made my way up that way with that set-up and since there weren't any claymores set off they had no idea i was there, so i began to slice them open:idea: I quickly set my claymores and went into the bushes behind that house beside the big tank and waited and watched cause i knew they would head straight for it.


They did, and 2 died and the 3rd was shot from the bushes by a silenced MP5, then i just moved and kept killing the same sniper who kept trying to come back and kill me. I just know he was so aggravated because he just kept coming back and looking for me and only finding were 9x19mm rounds ripping his flesh:tup:

I find great joy in it when i kill someone and they come right back and kill me and then i know that they will just keep that up. So i will just keep shifting my position every time i kill them and then flank them and repeat. I just picture the angry german kid video happening at their house

I've been playing CoD4 a lot for the past two days.. I had like a 1 month hiatus, haha.

Anyways, I've been using this class a LOT! I went 40-6 on Wetwork with it and 37-6 on Crash with it.

Extreme Conditioning (so useful)

You could also use the gun with the Red Dot sight, and that gives you the 1st perk. If you do use the RDS, use Stun x3 as your perk. That class is really, really good!

On another note, I just bought it for the PC the huge team numbers makes it a completely different game, its something ridiculous like 55 aside.

I've been ranking up my Japan PSN account, and its all been M4. OK, M4 and silenced MP5. I had forgotten how reliable, and effective M4 was. Amazing gun, really.

I'm already up to level 24 or higher, but I might not ever touch it again. My K/D is over 1.8, and I know I'll never get it up that high again.

No..... Everybody plays different. And I don't think there is anything wrong with the flash bangs. They are highly effective, and when I get hit with it, I usually lie down like a little.......... dog. If I have a silenced gun, I start firing in the direction I got hit from. With my tactics, half the time, I either hit them, or they miss me completely.

I think a shotty is best used with UAV jammer or as a secondary with Overkill. Even then it's not really ideal on many maps as a silenced SMG is much more versatile but the shotgun is effective from further then you may realise. I prefer the W1200 of the 2, pump action ftw , but it generally is more versatile to, the other shotty (can't remember the name) just requires to much reloading, which is one of the shotguns major weaknesses.

I'm even worse with the pump action. I am fully aware of the range it has. No, not because I can utilize the range. I've been shot in the head more than once from a pretty good range.

3 flash or 3 stun is not noob at all. 3 frag is. And to me, the shotguns are soooooo much better with the grip.

Well, I just had one of the worst night, ever.

I've been playing on PS3 lately, but it's out getting a new harddrive tonight. So I get on my Xbox 360, but I've always had problem compensating between the Xbox analog stick, which is stiffer, to PS3 stick, much lighter.

On top of all that, my mind was just on a retarded mode. Not a step behind everbody, many, several steps behind everyone. Combine that with my shooting, which was off by at least a foot or two(in scale), disaster. Even when I did something right, the game magically took it away. Entire enemy team by the stairs/mini bridge thing on the boat(wetwork), no one taking the kills away. I drop the air strike right on top of them, not one hit. Plus, in most games, my guns were as effective as a rubber band gun. That alone usually makes for a frustrating evening.

My K/D dropped a point(or .01), I finished more than one game with a zero kill. Not full games, but still unblievable. Most games in negative ratio. One - I repeat - one game with K/D better than two. Through the process, I seriously thought about quitting the game, more than once. I might not touch my Xbox until MW2 is out.

Sorry for the rant. Look on the bright side, your next game won't be this bad!

Ive had those times to where it seems like everyone that shoots you it just magically drops you but no matter how many bullets you pump into them they just keep running. I think sometimes lag is the problem because i know that if i shoot someone lets say 5 times with a MP5 they should drop by the 3rd hit, even with jugg on at 5 they should be on the ground and sometimes it happens to where they just keep going and then turn around and casually shoot me twice and im out. WTF! Thats when ok, i just sack it for the night because smeggy crap like this is going to cost me a controller...

The lag is everyones enemy, except the hosts...
We all have had our knife fails where we we stab them but apparently miss lol

I don't get lag, I sometimes get "connection lost". This is with using one of the worst routers out there (Since when did Sagem make routers? Pfft, damn you Sky!)

lag isn't always a realized thing, take the knife thing for example. You won't realize your lagging because people aren't jumping around and such but when you knife someone a few times in the back and nothing happens and then you just die and on the kill cam it shows them turning around and getting you then thats lag. Once you have been playing a good bit you will have these moments of wtf i just shot him and nothing happened or ok i just got killed from nowhere etc.

Yeah I didn't notice lag when I first started playing the game because I didn't realise it was affecting me. When I started to get more experienced and noticed that some games people wouldn't take a direct hit and some would, knifing becomes really delayed and people still kill you even though you appear to be behind a wall on your screen but you're not on the killcam, I started to notice it and try to join games where the host is a lot better.

Had some fun tonight with TheCracker on-line, that party was incredibly good, we just scraped a win against them after you left! Why are you at level 15? I thought you were 30 odd.

Getting through the challenges quicker now, so exp is going up and try some of the different Assault/SMGs, other than the M4/MP5.

Now as a more experienced player, I always no matter what join a game and press select on the bootup. If my connection is bad, I leave. I may get a really horrible win ratio but thats Infinity Wards own fault for not implimenting region selection etc. I would much rather have higher Accuracy and K/D ratio than some stupid failing win ratio.

See a enemy, aim, shoot, +5,+10+50 etc

Bootcamp and friends help you get hang of things, but a new game like CoD6 everyone is gonna be iffy at the start.

Win ratio is nothing, pointless actually
K/D ratio is a rough summary of a person, but there is such things as second accounts lol
Accuracy ratio is not much either,, it tells you if

1. You play HSx3 Cage match
2. You Snipe a lot
3. You like the Automatics more
4. You cant aim for your life

I gave up on controller breaking, too. After $80(X360/$55, PS3/$25*), I told myself it just wasn't worth beating it up. But yeah, night like last night.....

What's really funny is that there are nights where it feels like you just point your gun at somebody, and they are already dropping before you pulled the trigger! Those are the nights that you could kill like five guys in seconds, with just one clip or something like that.

[EDIT] I think tutorial could be useful. When I begun playing CoD4, I was a total FPS noob, and a online gaming noob. My buddies brought me in, so I was able to get pointers, advices from them. Tutorial could reinforce that, especially to players who's starting out all on their own.

Start with the online etiquette, please! I'm sick & tired of people behaving online as they do behind the wheel(of a car). Just because they can remain faceless, their manners fly out the window, and they start acting like total jackasses.
