Just started a nice Team Deathmatch - "Connection Interrupted", "Host Ended Game".

Great. And now, of course, I can't find a game to get into. It's nice playing the GTP guys, but I need more points

Was that during one of our matches?? It was great fun fighting you, althought we were a bit crap compared to the other 3 in the tea games. We'll get there though!!

Even the single player is great. I finished it in about 5 hrs total, that was just long enough IMO. Although that was with recruit difficulty.

I turned into Jack O'Neill ("Two Ls!") when I found out I could have a P90. When I'm high enough to use it online, I shall be.

I've just had a great match watching Ron and Beerz working, while I picked off the occasional kill (Ren-Tec and Venom77, I assume). I've also killed Beerz twice in point-scoring matches with my knife Though he won overall...


What's the deal with the "Challenges"?

Famine - I hadn't played Free-For-All matches in 'ages', felt like a fish out of water without my team mates backing me up. But they went pretty well.
And you're pretty damn good using the knife (way better than me), that'll serve you well, great skills.

Challenges are tasks within the MP game that unlocks stuff as you go along. The Marksman ones for each weapon unlock the sights and camos, etc. Then you got all sorts of other ones, mainly just give you a big XP boost if you complete them and rank up quicker.

I am lvl55 and have been for about a month, I opted to stay at lvl55 instead of trading in all my weapons and skins etc for a little symbol that means nothing to me. Beerz is second lvl Prestige, Omnis is into Prestige. I am not sure about everyone elses level.

I figure I'll go to either 2nd or 6th prestige. I like those icons the best.

I completed a few more challenges today. MG Master and M4 Marksman, helped me earn a new rank for tonight, Major General.

I'm knackered. It's 4am and I've just reached double figures. Call me "Sarge"...

Still getting a bit hacked by how I can't kill anyone in less than three headshots, but I can be killed by a single shot to the knee...

And how when you turn up with a level 55, a 33, two 32s, a 14, an 11, a 7, a 6, a 5 and a 3, the teams get assigned 55, 33, 32, 14, 5 and 32, 11, 7, 6. Not exactly a fair allocation.

Edit: Sting - how did you complete those challenges? I assumed they were during online play only...

You can complete the challenges in any game type but not private matches. There is a set of challenges for each of the weapons in their respective weapon class(i.e. Assault, LMG etc...) so you earn different types of scopes for getting X amount of kills (I think it is 150 on the last set) and different skin colours for number of headshots.

Aside from doing weapon challenges there are also in-game challenges like get X number of kills while prown, jump 15feet and survive, fall from 30 feet and die (at Countdown map). And as you lvl up your rank you will unlock different types of challenges like the Elite challenges which I think starts at lvl 49.

Completing these challenges is just another way of earning XP and leveling up faster and if you want to check out which ones you have completed or which ones you need to complete, click on Barracks, then Challenges and you will see the different challenge lists you can complete or have completed.

Just restarted using the G3 again, I almost forgot how good it is.
Most accurate weapon of the game (not counting sniper rifles), good power, and although it's a single-fire, it shoots like a full-auto, as fast as you can tap the trigger, all this without any loss of accuracy, even at long range.
It also doubles as my sniper rifle.

hmm, I'm not that addicted, I only played till 3 AM , I thought I would take a early night because I didn't fancy falling asleep in work.

Side note: My other half is working nights so, to maximise our time together, I'm adopting her sleep patterns. This means I'm awake 4pm-8am. Win.

My stats took a beating because I was pathetic at first, I am getting bettter now. I started online two days ago, I am level 22, which is a master gunnery sargent.

I try to get on COD4mp everyday to practise and unwind. At least I kick more a55 than my transformers namesake. I screengrabbed my current stats, 28 kill streak is better than I thought I had.

I just had a bizarre match. 10 players crammed into a tiny little square with cargo containers. It was fun, mind. I got more kills in that one game than most of the rest of the day.

Last night I also managed to not die at all in a match.
