I played a few great matches with GT4Genius tonight and sent invites to everyone showing up as being online. 👍


Man, I'm positively loving the M16 now, you only get faster kills with a sniper rifle.
I'm guessing the reason I didn't feel comfortable with it before was because my aim was really lousy, I can now make much better use of this weapon, and hopefully get even better with time.


BTW, my stats remained unchanged throughout these last matches, anyone else noticed this?
 
I just played a Sniper on Overgrown for the first time and absolutely devastated the SAS with my Dragunov. It was the first time I really used a sniper rifle effectively.
 
First time I did it was there too, only it was with the M40. I'd snipe more often if there were more grassy maps with good sight lines.
 
I fell a sleep in the end... Woke up with a hundred thousand invites popping up on the screen, damn the error 33 things! Changed my avatar too! 👍

I notice the leaderboards still haven't been updated, its a shame because I have been doing really well with my kill:death ratio now.
 
Weapon challenges still work fine, and clicking on 'Barracks' shows your REAL updated stats, which means they're being saved. Only the leaderboards aren't updated, so I'm less worried about it now. :cool:
 
I unlocked the G36 before, its brilliant except for really long distance when it just makes alot of noise and you shot at. great for close range encounters and perfect for picking of people who with poor cover, great mid-range weapon. I have just unlocked the P90 hopefully I will get vacant to put it to the test next match.
 
I find the G36 too inaccurate for my taste. Plus, stats say it has the same power of the G3, so how come the G3 knocks anyone down with 2 or 3 bullets but the G36C needs almost an entire magazine?...


I've just played a private match (alone) to find out how the hell do I get up on the roof of the main house (over the attic), and I did it!
It takes some well calculated moves, but once up there, the view is superb on all 360*, and you'll surely get a lot of people off guard. :D

Which map are you on about mate? the only roofs I can get on is the middle building on Backlot next to flag B when you get out the window onto the balcony ... and also the building on Overgrown next to flag A when you climb the wall and jump on the roof from there .. wouldn't mind some other info for other maps ;)

Oh yeah, sorry about that. I forgot to say which map it was. Overgrown.
The main white house with the attic, between the barn and the stone bridge. I saw a sniper up on that roof early on today and just loved to see the KillCam after he shot me. :)

Get on the big white tank in front of the hole in the attic (either jumping from the hole or from the wall on the right - easier), then face the house. You'll see a lower lip of the roof just right of the hole. Make a run and jump to it. You're there! 👍
 
I got killed by someone up ther today, I had a go at it just now and it worked, seems a little exposed, but who looks up on the farside.

go onto of the roof face the barn, there are two small dormer windows, if you ly down ther you are coverd from eitherside, you don't have to worry about people knifing you either, also grenades will just bounce off the roof, its a great tunnel of fire even if you are extremely visable.

Also if you have you back to the chimeney its easy pickings killing people exiting the house and down in the riverbed, its a little exposed off to your left mind.

The easiest way to get onto the roof is acctually to run along the wall and just simply jump up its easier than the gas tank beerz.

Also if you feeling quite the gymnast, jump down onto the fence on the otherside of the house run along and get onto the roof of a nearby building, its got a great view of the bridge,rivine, feilds, and when lying down its extermely hard to hit you. The main problem with this its quite hard to get there without being shot. Its worth it though.

As I said earlier the middle building in Backlot is also an easy roof to get on ... run up the stairs and into the room upstairs .. climb out onto the very first window on the left as you enter the room and jump slightly to the left and you will end up on the balcony and the ladders are there! just watch out for the gunners on the fixed guns as you can be easy bait very quickly :)

Thats the 2 roofs I use other than the obvious easy access roofs in Downpour and Pipeline 👍

Need to find more roofs :sly:

There is also another great sniper roof, if you go right along the wall and ontop of the bridge with corregated iron roof, run along it take a left along a corregated iron wall once your at the end of the bridge, you will find a flat-roofed house that you can almost garrenty won't get you seen by the enemy, it provides a view of the bridgem the barn, fields across the way and with a UV jammer people won't even know your there.

I have circled it in red on the map in the picture, you it is to small to see without enlarging the picture, hard to get too, but very effective.

Man, I can't get into a game that doesn't have a huge lag, they should really have dedicated servers...
Especially knowing they've sold, in less than 2 months, over 5.5 MILLION copies of this game. If that doesn't allow you to have decent servers for all these players enjoy the game without BS like this, I don't know what does.
I've fired an entire magazine of the M16 onto a guy, only to have him kill me with a few bullets of an M4. Every enemy that I encounter needs at least 2 or 3 bursts on the head to die, when usually, 1 burst to the chest dropped them.
When I look at the killcam and see me start shooting (in the wrong direction according to it) about 2 secs after I know I actually started, and none of the bullets hitting him, I can't help but to smile... in murderous rage while foaming from the mouth. :mad:
 
^ Wow, it's coincidence that you mention about the lag. I don't play in the evenings much anymore because 80% of matches I join just aren't right. Just now has been the worst set set I've ever joined. During the day, they're usually perfectly fine.
 
I haven't entered entered a match for over an hour, could anyone invite me into a match.
 
I get it pretty much anytime, it really screws up my stats, as I feel powerless on those matches, every kill is a victory... So when I'm experiencing lag issues, I search for another match hoping to get another server. Are any of our NA members having problems with lag?

For example, just a few minutes ago, I did a TDM on Strike with my M16, no lag whatsoever, and plain owned; 30-3. :sly:

I haven't had very much lag during my online games, if there is it will be like a short burst when there are a few explosions or something like that but I don't experience that very often. Since the patch it has been A+.
 
Too much lag for me to play at the moment, anyone else getting the connection interrupted symbol every game?
 
I just did a few now with surprisingly no lag. I only hope today's stats count, because, apart a few bad matches, I've been doing great.
Just did a 17-0 on Crash with the M16; first mine (with RDS), then another one I picked up when I ran out of ammo, but with the iron sight. :)

I'm going back there now, so invite me if you want.

I too tried it properly for the first time tonight and have to say I quite like it, with stopping power it puts people down well enough and on that match we had on Countdown I got a couple of kills at quite a surprising range.

May have to work with this one for a while in the CBQ style maps.

Also finally got around to using the G3 a bit more and opened up the RDS, have to say I far prefer this gun to the sniper rifles for distance work. Top piece of kit 👍.
