Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare

It's a cool looking weapon but I don't like the AK-47 the way it fires, but i'll admit it's got stopping power. But for it being an AK just doesn't seem worth the effort but since I don't plan on going to prestige I might finish that anyways.

The one with Famine? He invited me, I (as usual) accepted and a miracle happened: although the match had already started, it got me in. :D

After the match, game lobby closed and I got error 33 over and over...
Will try again now. But if Famine hadn't invited me, I'd still be waiting for a match, those guys at DemonWare should really open their eyes and FIX things. Damn servers...

Which was crap - let's pit a bunch of Prestigers against... everyone else. Predictable result and no fun at all.

I a terrible at overgrown, I love the map but I am useless at it, but yeh its not particularly fair at all.

And thankyou Mr P, I think if I go to Prestige I will either stop at level 4 or 8.
 
I totally agree (except for the killing part, I do that just fine), I prefer the M60 to the other LMG, when you carry it around you just get a feeling of this huge thing that can basically tear down a forest and devour anyone and anything that gets in its path. The sound is amazing, like a long chugga, chugga, chugga, really does alot of damage! :)

Yeah, it's easily the most powerful weapon available on this game (not counting rockets, javelins, missiles...), I used it all the time back in the days. :)
As my aiming improves (still has a lot to improve), I've come to use and love precision in firing above sheer power. Still, my RPD gets used on some situations.

Well, can't get into a freaking match ever since that one with Famine and Stevisiov on Ambush. I'm both tired and extremely pissed, so I'm going to bed and read a bit before going to sleep (it calms the animal in me - it's a xenomorph, btw).
 
As far as powerful weapons I'd have to pick the Barrett although the guns usage is limited it just commands peoples attention when they get hit by one or even hear it. Everytime i've only wounded someone they've bolted for cover and never came out again. Plus it just sounds deadly.
 
I agree that the Barrett is the most powerful weapon in the game, it is a .50 cal bullet and if hit with that you are pretty much bound to lose whatever it was that was hit (arm, leg, stomach etc...) you would definately die with one shot in real life. It also sounds really deadly although the sound it makes is alot louder and brutaler (word?) for you than other people, even if they are right near you. If you walk by someone sniping with it, it doesn't sound nearly as loud, which is a mistake in my opinion as you would hear that from miles away.

Look at thir rankings, all begginers, 1-4 - it has something to do with taken-given bullets percentage when you're K/D gets lucky in first few matches.

@Beerz - nice games mate, I have finally got my grip on PS3 controller, but leveling the damn G3 is destroying me at this point. I can't wait to finish that damn gun, I'm a #1 prey at this moment.

Well there's certainly maps where a semi-automatic gun shines over a fully automatic weapon but I still don't like the G3 in this case. I'd choose the M14 over it, alot more stopping power in my opinion. I had high hopes for this weapon but once I found out it was semi-automatic I was already disappointed because the only other time I've used a G3 was in Battlefield 2 and that came in both the Full auto and semi-auto mode but it was absolutely devastating at close to medium range in full auto. I also had that trigger issue when I was leveling it so maybe i'll give it another try with an RDS or ACOG.

No sorry the M14 is unlockable at level 46. But when you do get it try it out if you like high powered semi-auto rifles. I'll admit the kick on it is pretty substantial coupled with it's bad iron sights it's hard to bear while you're leveling to get the RDS. But just bear with it untill you unlock the RDS and then give a judgement call on whether you like it or not.

EDIT: I personally use a M14 with RDS and digital camoflauge. Desert Eagle, frag x3, stopping power, and martyrdom.
 
OT:

I've just read on IW forums that today - 7th January - is their first working day in 2008. So, maybe now they'll work on EU patch, they've had plenty of rest.

I suspect I'll be utilising the P90 by then. And shooting Replicators.
