Well now they can put the new Z06 in it since it makes its public debut on Jan 1st.... It sucks I agree with you all on that, but id rather see its delayed than released with problems like "Starwars Battlefront" they rushed that game so it could come out the same time as the DVD's and its all messed up.... All I read about on the forums is how they should have fixed it before its relaease....
Can't please everyone!

Well, in the future, please don't make it harder on me by also quoting the image… more work on my end.

It is probably another one of those 98.6% completed issues that we had on GT2. That was friggen nuts.

It would be nice if they would give us another demo (HERE IN THE STATES) that we can play while we wait (SOME MORE)

Oh well even if it comes out a year from now I will still buy it.

I am sick of PD! fvck them if they don't include the US with any demo or GT prologue, I hope Forza blows GT away and I will switch to XBOX and play Forza which has FERRARI something PD is to inept in getting....I am pissed that we are excluded from everything in the US! now the release is in 2005!

To an extent i agree, in fact if Forza does come out first, i'll be xboxing, and sony can get delayed on getting my cash

No demo in the US? Then I suppose that Toyota disc I have downstairs is some sort of figment of my imagination? As is the Gamespot demo that's due out whenever?

As for the rest.. well, you can go be happy with your GT-wannabe if you like. Contrary to popular belief, though, Ferrari is not the end-all, be-all of racing. GT, GT2, and GT3 all managed to capture the title "best racing game in history" without Ferrari. Think about it.

God damn man are you mad that demo is how friggen old. They can at least give us the new BMW demo, or something. I need to go take my paxil and chill out. :scared:

I'm still gonna buy it, no matter the release date, but this really is ridiculous.

I can't really blame anybody for considering xbox/forza at this point. I think GT4 will be way better than forza, but is it ever going to be released? I've waiting since last January!

Whoever says they are going to abandon it is just chatting crap.

Yeah everyone should be pretty calm by next week maybe...and most people will already be acting like GT4 was originally going to be released next year anyways...but now it's just official. Nothing we can do about it.

Lordy people… does it make a friggin' difference if it comes out a month later? In the grand scheme of things, did it make the slightest difference that I got GT3 in December instead of January? No. In the grand scheme of things, does it matter if someone got Halo 2 on the day (erm, midnight) that it came out, or if they got it a week later? No. A game coming out a month or two later isn't going to ruin your life.

Getting mad at the release date does nothing – it won't change anything at all. When it comes out, it'll be out… while it's not out, it's not out. Simple concept.

It's just dissapointing, Sage, that we must wait longer after numerous date changes and it flusters us a bit. It's been almost a full year since the first date they claimed it would be released.

I'm not mad, just a bit dissapointed with there frequent changes.

You're wrong in 5 years I'll be like "man I cant believe the game didn't come till 05" on a daily basis. ;)

The fact thatthey don't offer any real demos here in the US adds to the frustration, KY needs to include th us it seems like he just doesn't give a crap about the us market.

I feel the same way.

I agree. If they offered us an interesting demo or GT4P at an resonable price, it wouldn't be so bad.

To the people who says that the delays do not matter. This is how it's starting to feel for me:

There's an cake(GT4). You can have the cake, only after finishing your lunch(January, 2004). Then it's delayed to after mowing the grass(spring). After you've finished your homework(summer). Then you're told, you can have the cake(GT4) after dinner(November). After washing the dishes(December), for sure this time! At this point, you start thinking about settling for an candy bar(forza).

Just kidding, I applaud those of you with patience.

Well the people that can wait are ones that are probably not as anxious to get there hands on the game. I want the game badly but I can wait. There's always alternate games to keep me busy and keep my mind off GT4.

I would agree also. I don't mind the delay so much - my biggest complaint over the last couple of years is the lack of support to the US, or I should the America's market. GT4P, or GT-C should have been released to the NA market. :yuck:

I would have gladly bought both - but having a no-mod PS-2, I and lots of other folks had no chance to expierence either one. GT4P I think would have sold fairly well - in my office alone there are 7 guys who will be picking up GT4 when it gets released - most of us would have picked up GT4P.

Ah well, water under the bridge.

It's always better topless. :sly:

I'm not worried about when the game is released.

My shopping list (in order):
1. 1990 Nissan Skyline GTS-4 (getting the ownership papers this weekend, bringing it home at Christmas - i could get it this weekend if i wanted, but decided to wait and give myself a decent Christmas present :D).
2. Driving Force Pro (once i pay off the car, $1,500 to go and i should have that paid in four weeks, i'll be buying this with the next pay hopefully. So in about five weeks then.)

Of course you can wait. You have no choice but to wait. What are you going to do, go get the game right now, because you can't wait until later?

I find the whole Forza argument quite humorous, really.. Is there some rule that states you can only own one or the other? That if you buy GT4, you can't buy Forza? Or that you'll buy Forza instead of GT4, rather than Forza in addition to GT4?

And what about those of us who don't own an Xbox? You expect us to spend $200 on Forza instead of $50 on GT4? Come to think of it, there's still a very good chance that GT4 will hit shelves before Forza does.

The whole point is how some people are complaining about the wait and some coping with it not caring much.

to all the people who keep saying "its just a videogame, you could wait"- please, i ask you kindly to just shut up. no i canNOT wait, i been waiting a longgg time. what frustrates me the most is that we are not being given a direct reason as to why there is a delay, there is no specific release date-just a broad "1st quarter 05", and we get no demos.. even worse, they would expect us to PAY for the demo!? :yuck: 👎

Well geeze, I could wait too if I was getting a skyline for x-mas.

Unfortunately my "skyline" was GT4 so life really sucks now that it is delayed. :grumpy:

Hey, life's a b**** and then you die. Live with it. Yes it is only a game, a very well detailed and fun game, but nonetheless a game. Patience is a virtue.
