Hey @shaunm80 all your tunes I have work very well with a G27 wheel on TCS:1 an ABS:1, and sometimes TCS set on 0. Your Viper SRT10 ACR '08 tune for I use for the Matterhorn TT is very good I only had 10 tries to get 1:08.002 and if I had more time on this TT I could easily beat these 2 rabbits @Soren Jacquet an @chrisspeed281 .
I too am very close to gold with this tune. I am amazed at how well it handles on SH tyres bearing in mind it is a ACR viper... PD physics defy logic sometimes :)

I use tune @Brewguy44!!!

Very very Fast
He is a very fast guy.. Your not wrong there.

I have NO idea how to make a Lap time under 1:05
I have an idea. Practice, practice, practice.

👍 TY Shaun!

I also believe it's related to the transmission, however your tip on the BB is a nice idea... Gonna do a few tests to see if any significative change will happen...
I am going to try and make a new transmission for this car based on what we can actually do with it at the moment. Will work on this later/tomorrow and see what I can mangle together.

I have an idee that @shaunm80 can make the Viper GS R Contept ´00 stabel and still have lots of grib

I am on a 1.09.384 with my ACR '08 tune. That will do for me. I have the paint and the credits and now I am running away from the hills to do some drifting. :)

@Otaliema - If you want to get an easy gold, use my ACR '08 tune. it will certainly get gold with ease. Also, I am going to be working on the project car today for a hour to see what I can do with it.

Honda HSV-010 GT Base Model '12 (600PP RH) - Laguna Seca Tune P62 +1839
Honda HSV-010 GT Base Model '12 (600PP RH) - General Track Tune P113 +3363

Already done my friend :) Laguna Seca should work well on Suzuka.

Forget the gear box setting.. its still screwed (until PD sort it out). but just apply a FC transmission and "Reset to default" :)

Alternatively, you can follow the advice from @Otaliema from this post and it will work until I can go back to my normal transmission settings.

Oh.

In fact, my friend will organize an online endurance race on Suzuka where rain can appear at any time.

I really want to be able to use 100% of this car and this track :)

That is why I am looking for a optimal tune, sun or mixed (sun/rain)

I have to be honest, right now isn't looking good for a new tune. I haven't got the time spare to perfect a mixed weather tune due to other commitments. The only suggestion I have is to use the general tune as it will be more adaptable but it might not be optimum for rain. I know that Praiano did a tune for this car and it may work better in the rain than one of the two tunes I have already for this car. An old trick I used in GT5 was to use SS tyres on a GT500 car. Has less grip in the dry but is quicker in the wet.. It may work on one of these tunes if you wanted to experiment with that?

I think I will do that, my tfriend be is capable of a very low time but it is far from easy to drive. If I get my entry's right I was blowing past @chrisspeed281 and @Soren Jacquet with ease and pulling past in the straights but I would ditch it someplace along cause I would miss an entry.
As for transmissions right now the best thing you can do is establish the speed the car needs set the Final gear 1/4 (3.000 with a 2.000 longest)up from longest set top speed +1 or 2 clicks up on speed and rebalance the gears. It makes for some interesting transmissions but they are always better than stock and are bug proof atm

@Soren Jacquet @LordJCS @chrisspeed281 @cbarbosa so how about taking a TT break and testing for us in FITT this round?
Testing starts in less then a week.
I have tested @shaunm80 Tune at Midfield and can say it's very good.. no over or understeering , stable and my best Lap so far was 1:11.7.. ( with chrisspeed regulations TC 4) ... If i go with TC 0 i would be able to win a Drift Event . Don't forget i use the DS3 with Buttons :)

I will take it out for a spin later ,,, my wife has stolen my tv ,,, so like to see how the car react with a whell and a heavy food on the throttle hehe...

My best time was a 1.11.03x with TCS set to 0. I reckon the other testers will get that into the 1.10s when they take this round the track. This car will work well with TCS 0. It is just the tight left turn before the tunnel that you really have to maintain throttle control. That will make or break a lap.

Im sure that you will enjoy this tune. It should be right up your street.

I did only two Laps so i'm sure i would be able to come under 1.10 if i take it like a Super Lap ;)
