Had enough time before work to knock out the new drift trials. I used Aston Martin Vanquish '04 (Drift Seasonal Setup) (non-racing) and Nissan C-WEST RAZO Silvia '01 (Drift Setup) (FR racing). I actually got gold on my FIRST ATTEMPT (unheard of for me) in the Silvia. It was sloppy as heck, but I managed to beat the gold score by 363 and now I'm done with the drift trials. I had so little frustration this time around I might actually go back and try to improve my scores.

I found the time trials this time around were pretty easy for me. I don't know if I'm getting better at the game or if they made the required times really lax for these two. Maybe it's a combination of both.

For the British Non-Racecar Super Lap I knew immediately I was going to use the McLaren MP4-12C '10 (550PP SH) (with SM tires) even before I saw that chrisspeed281 had already recommended it. 👍

For the 550pp Racecar Super Lap I checked the online rankings and saw that everyone in the top 500 rankings was using either a Chaparral 2J or Toyota TS030 Hybrid. So naturally I decided to use the Ferrari 330 P4 '67 (600PP RH) (removed Stage 2 Turbo and took power limiter to 78.2%). I had to spend credits anyway because of the 50 million cap. I regret nothing. Beautiful car and tune, I had gold after only a few laps.

Nice picture Shaun, is either of those lucky blokes you?

A few more suggestions for British Non-Racing Car Super Lap (550PP SM):
Jaguar XFR '10 (550PP SH) SM tires
Lotus Esprit V8 '02 (550PP SS) SM tires

I found both of these tunes capable of a gold lap. While the McLaren practically drives itself around the track, these two provide a nice bit of challenge and will keep you from feeling too smug if you're of middling skill and are starting to think you're getting to be very good.

In the original posts shaunm80 refers to the Lotus as a "wild child" and the Jaguar as "a bull who has eaten too much chilli powder for lunch". Both are accurate descriptions of the tunes, but as I just came off of testing a few TVRs at the same track, I might venture to say they aren't all that crazy. It's like when someone says, "My mom is crazy." and you're like "Yeah, my mom is crazy too, she does some silly things sometimes." and they're like, "No. My mom is in prison.", and you're just like, "Oh..."

Excellent finds. Good to see some wild bulls making the list. :) Both added and well done on taming that chilli eating bull monster.

Three more gold tunes for the current batch of drift and superlap seasonals.:) 👍 The drift tunes are easy golds, but the Megane Trophy may take some work.

The Chaparral 2J is 3 sec. faster than the TS030 at Cote d'Azur in my hands , a 1:28.020 with the 2J today :)
Sorry Chris I have gone pass you on my friends list in both TTs, 1:26.792 at Cote d'Azur with my 2J :). 1:28.397 Brands Hatch with the MP4 but I will not be trying Brands Hatch anymore because of that first right hander as you go down the hill, I just can not get it right all the time.

First part of hunting is done at Brands Hatch , the 2J challange will be done later today :)

More Gold tunes:
Mazda Falken RX-7
Blue Ringed Octopus (again)
Aston Martin Vanquish Drift

Also, somehow I managed to get my hands on a brandnew Corvette C5-R (:D) and tried your set-up. Awesome! So stable, no throttle control needed at all.
I will get these cars added to the list. Glad you enjoyed the Vette Race car setup. Definitely a good car to have for career races when you want to cruise to a victory.

You are so right. The Ferrari is a beautiful car with a great tune. I took the first place on 3rd round. Harder of course than 2j.
I've tried with the Jaguar XJ13 Chrome Line but I am not so good driver and I am using DS3. Someone else can test this beauty.

Thank you @fordlaser777 for the challange . The time trials has become boring without Soren and Lord JCS :)
Your not wrong I think I put the 2J back in the garage and try some other cars to get gold, like the Jaguar XJ13 Chrome Line as @nirakis mention in his post so I tried it and I got Gold with a time of 1:35.752, the only change I made to the car is to reduce the Power Limiter, very nice car @shaunm80 👍 but don't put the power down early on this car coming out of the corner or you will encounter oversteer.

This car finally has a use. I wondered if this car would ever get an outing with PD events. It doesn't fit the old car races because it isn't "old" in PD years. Thanks for getting this to a gold time!

All the cars have now been added to the list. Great work by all of you. Keep it up :)

@chrisspeed281 - I would try and keep up with you guys but I don't have the time to do that these days. I did enjoy the old days when I was able to put time into these events and try and go toe-to-toe with you, lordJCS and badger. :)

Tomorrow if I get time I will try some more 👍
