The STI is fun. I could only do a 57.772, but it feels the best of all the cars I ran. It has some serious off throttle tuck in for the slow corners. Maybe someone can extract more pace from it.

I just realized that you can actually cut the sausage kerbs and serve the penalty in the braking zone into the hairpin .

CHAMPIONSHIP TRACK LIMITS RENDERED INEFFECTIVE FOR THIS SITUATION.

At least in the Free Practice mode...

It won't work in the race, the amount you need to slow down to deplete a penalty in the actual races is much greater than FP

Xbow have few more potential than SF.R , better grip , acceleration and top speed but is a lot more difficult to drive at 100% without mistakes , mainly due to acceleration control out fast corners. SF.R is easy , fast and safe.

I chose the A110 at 1301kg. M4 is 1347kg and an alternate choice Civic Type R is 1327kg.
We'll see how race pace is. These players put down laps 5 seconds quicker than the A110. Hopefully lighter weight saves the day.

I don't know the purpose of this race. Should just be a One Make. My favorite track and it was "bleh".

Onto the Carrera Cu.. I mean, Manufacturers Race.

Managed to qualify and finish 7th place in the R32! I actually did a headcount of each car during the gridwalk... I counted 3 S-FR's, 3 X-Bows, 4 (?!) R34's, 2 R32's (including me), an Evo X, two Civic FK2's, a 2015 Mustang and an Audi TT.

No. Just hot lap as fast as you can go.

Maybe I should have used the M4. The S-FR didn't have the straightline speed, which kept me close. Sure, it's downforce in the esses made up for it, but I wasn't as out of touch as I thought I'd be.

FIA done. Close finish and racing. Got penalties for looking at the screen.

Nations done. Another 3rd place for me using the GT40.

Last time I qualified here I was launched into space by a player on my last flying lap after having been blocked by the same player on my first flying lap. With this in mind and also knowing the Ford is fairly easy on tyres I didn't bother pitting for new tyres in quali. Did 5 laps one after another. Maybe got 2 laps that were ok. Aborted more than one lap due to bad traffic. Ended up 4th with a last ditch effort just before the 10mins were up.

The race was fairly standard. Few close shaves in the early laps until I managed to first overtake and then gap the following SF-R on one of the next laps, faster than my quali lap, about half way through the race. Then it was just about keeping the gap to the SF-R. I wasn't catching the cars in front.

I was a little surprised by the number of SF-Rs on the grid - maybe 3 qtrs. Its great through the twisty bits but its just too slow down the straight for my tastes. I think I'd find it too frustrating.

Set a 1:55.92 in the Nurburg Manufacturers race, my best qualifying lap all season. Lined up 7th in top split, dropped to 10th from the start but no damage so I thought I was going to have a fun race with a clean lobby...

But then some idiot on lap 2 STILL thinks you can pass someone into turn 1 from four tenths back! Supension damage, race ruined, and to add insult to injury they dive me again on the same lap into NGK, which is a one-line corner!

How can these people be fast enough to end up in top split yet have absolutely zero understanding of how a race works? I don't pretend to have great racecraft (my average qualifying position is better than my average race finish) but I know when an overtake is on and when it's not, and other A+ drivers should too!

They need to rework sr system just a lil bit, dr is fine. Make sr gains be 50% slower, keep sr loss the same, that would be a start. Maybe anytime you are involved in a heavy damaging crash u lose 5sr or something. That would hurt the innocent party too but in the long run all the crashers would be out from sr99, and with it being harder to gain sr back maybe they would never be back, or have to learn to drive more careful. Sr is way to easy to get to 99 it’s almost a joke

What an absolute clownshow at Nurburgring. First two laps are alright, there's maybe 3/4 seconds between the top 5. Third lap I get passed and that's fine, then coming out of the hairpin at the bottom somebody ahead spins, doesn't ghost, T-bones the guy in front of me who I run into the back of. Then I end up having contact on the next lap and have to pit again anyway for repairs. Ended up 9th, and I'm still not sure how.

Picked up a surprise win in the Manufacturers race last night. Figured I'd try something new and two-stop on the softs, while presuming everyone else was going to one-stop using the mediums or a mix of mediums and softs. Qualified 3rd, jumped to 1st after two corners and stretched a 5 second lead. Then just drove on full attack for the whole race, overtaking with better grip when I came out of the pits. Just great fun.

I’ve only raced a couple times casually in the last few weeks, trying to stay away, but I just couldn’t resist the SFR at DT Gardens, so I got a little practice in and entered Nations.

Qualified 7th in a lobby with just under 2000 for the winner, not the strongest but at least I had a chance to do well. Moved to to 5th within the first two laps just by avoiding mistakes, then eventually caught up to 3rd and 4th who were battling each other in the second half of the race. Managed to pass for 3rd when he made a mistake and the 3 of us ended up having a close finish at the end. I was in position to maaaaybe take 2nd in the final corner but we were pretty close to being 3-wide and I got a small penalty trying to avoid contact on the inside. No contact was made, super fun and clean race, my own mistake on the final turn cost me 3rd for sure and maybe 2nd. I’m definitely happy with 4th though.

Over 1600 points might be the biggest haul I’ve had in any FIA race, and it’ll probably be the only round I attempt this season, lol. Fun times were had and congrats to FT_McQueen for taking the win.

Nice nation race with SF-R , second after a KTM , hard battle between 2d 3rd and 4th , in the same second during 8 laps .Good fun and fair fight.

Horrible manufacturer , didn't train at all , i've destroyed my front aero after 2 laps in a mess that happen in front of me, then i went to pit and change SOFT for Racing MEDIUM. This was not a good thing to do, it seems the medium waste even faster than the SOFT tires. I've seen this problem round 2 with Z28 who waste 2 medium tires during the race when the winner complete the race non stop with racing soft .... PD need to fix this urgently , this is insane. Oh , i've finished Manufacturer in 18th position...

Nice work on 3rd. It was all about the qualifying which you hit in the dying seconds of it, well done!

That SFR who qualied 2nd was just out of their depth in the race and holding me up back in 6th. The Ford was the pick of the bunch, had the speed on the straights to do something, where the Toyotas just ran about at their pace not being able to make up places. I didn't test anything else with only limited time to practice for this race, so I just stuck with it expecting the Fords to fall off pace with excessive tire wear. Didn't happen.

Seeing as I have posted this the last 3 races, may as well keep up the tradition. The race from my perspective. Was a good race, got intense in the final few laps just not a lot of action in terms of overtakes. But thoroughly enjoyable from my end, even finishing 5th.

Didn't have much time for racing today due to real life commitments, but thought I would try the manufacturers race.

Unfortunately for me the guy a couple of seconds in front of me in qualifying ran wide and then rejoined in front of me ruining my fast lap (probably would have only bumped me up to 10th-ish though) so started near the back.

In the race the pug doesn't get off the line well, so dropped right to the back at the first corner, but just settled in to try and pick up the pieces of any mistakes ahead. When that happened after a couple of laps, I got a run up the inside of the same guy who had blocked me in quali, and then he ran me off the track(accidentally I think) and I spun and ended away off in the middle of the track. Took me 30 seconds to get back on the track so the race was ruined. Tried to keep going for a couple of laps, but was getting no enjoyment out of it.

Dead last and with nobody to race, I quit, poured myself a whisky and watched the rest of the GT World Tour races on youtube

I wasn't that lucky, at the grid start in my race a fella did an accidentally donut right in my face and couldn't avoid him and that heavy damage claimed the tribute. I said "accidentally", but I should say bad luck for me
It took me an entire year to make that first lap with half power off to get into the pit.
PD need to fix/adjust the ghost at this kind of race start type or something.
Every time I'm in a race with grid start and a first corner like Nurburgring have, I use to say the race driver special prayer before the start !

Had a nice victory yesterday in Manu with my 911

Started second, pole guy had a bad start. From that on I just needed to keep focused and could finish with 7 secs ahead P2.

I'll watch the replay now, because I'm curious if the heavy damage turned on did lead to more respect in the midfield.

The right way in my opinion to start a standing start race when you're in the middle of the pack , reducing your path according to the flow , staying in your line , taking care to not provoque accident that would ruin your and other players race is totally wrong .
There will be always others drivers behind you that will try to take advantage of the situation , bumping you , ramming you , breaking your car .....
I will not do this anymore , if i have to wreck my car , this will be my fault , nevermore. You have to be agressive in the middle of agressive people to survive. This is the only way .

In Garden I got very close and fun battle of 10th place. Managed to overtake in finnish straight by 0.027 sec and got that 10th place. Results showed me 1032 points of that place while in points table 11th got 950 points.

When looking after race championship points table I saw that my confirmed points were 950. So game chanced my final result after race for a reason I don't understand. I finished without penalty as guy who took 11th place after me. Both of us raced too without lag and with full bars in connection.

What happened there? Anybody else experienced same?

Yes it also happen to me after my horrible Manufacturer race yesterday, i've earn 223 points showed on screen at the end of the race but only 118 on the final panel.
