Thanks. Went with 5S/5S/7H. Most of the other cars did a similar strategy.Congratz for the nice result!
What strategy did you use?

Thanks, I ll try that out, although I d usually prefer to finish the race on softer tyresThanks. Went with 5S/5S/7H. Most of the other cars did a similar strategy.
A few highlights from the race including the last few laps
Raced every single slot tonight including the top 16. Saw a lot of familiar faces. @Pigems what happened in that last race?
Anyways great season

Thanks, I really liked the combo, I like Sardegna and as it turns out I like the Red Bull Jr (that was my first race in it), you can be super aggressive (the old Senna throttle technique out the corners works pretty damn well) but I wasn't quite 'on it' for the race, despite being on it in the pre-race lobbies ten minutes beforehand! I did think we were going to have a last lap battle but the train ahead of me cleared just in time from my perspective, if you'd have been half a second closer to get a decent tow or I'd have had to fight with someone it would have been very close! We could be talking about a last lap tangle!!It was great racing with you. You had great pace in that one, particularly after the unfortunate start you had. I wasn't super comfortable with the combo but got lucky with a qualifying slipstream to start 9th. Went with 10S/5M/1H/9S, that I kinda made up as I went through the race. Was very happy to finish immediately behind youIt didn't improve my points but enjoyed the race a whole lot more than I was expecting.

But yeah, solid results all round really, nicely in the top ten in a pretty strong field and it wiped off one of my lower scores - though if I wasn't doing stupid fancy dress quizzes on Saturday nights during this quarantine period I would have definitely gone again
Also don't think this person is on here but shout out to Happee Meal for that NHS livery he/she sported, amongst all the superb different styles we see on track that are made by some super talented (and patient) people, that one won the day by a mile

I’m in the same boat. I enjoy the driving more than finding the strategy so I check on here to see what the suggestions are, I use practice mode for maybe 25-30 minutes the day before if I don’t know the track combo, learning the safe lines and penalty areas, then I spent at most 30 minutes before the race getting comfortable with the required and optional tires with tire wear on. I rarely bother with fuel saving as it doesn’t seem to be a make it or break it strategy at my competition level.I've also focused on making my practice more efficient. Last year I would do 3 full race sims for each race, but it got to a point where it became such a chore, no fun at all and I was getting bored with the combo before the race actually started. Now I limit myself to 30 mins before the race. Whatever testing I got done, that's it.
@Pigems , sorry for the tap on lap 1 of the Top 16 race last night. I don’t think you knew I was inside of you, I backed off immediately so neither of us died.
Being 75th in the region I didn’t expect to make Top 16, but tried anyway, got in; I was shocked! Qualifying didn’t go well, I had a good lap (mid - low 17) going, but got held up big time on the second half of the track which landed me 10th on the grid. @vvise and I gambled by starting on hards and it seemed to work out. If I would have qualified better and didn’t make a few mid-race errors the result would have been better than 7th, but I’ll take gaining 3 positions.
I’m excited about next season, especially with the ‘adjustments’ we have coming our way.
No worries at all man, I tried to flash the 4 ways to say thank you at the time, but I wasn’t sure if you had seen it or not. It was pretty cool getting into the T16 race, and it turned out to be my best race of the night. Great racing last night, and this season man!
Also, after re watching the very short replay of the last race of the night, I realized that I absolutely killed @Judoka by accident, I had no idea at the time. I was trying to move over because I thought I had room to get in front of him and it caused him to clip the wall and stop dead. I’m not sure if he’s on here or not, but if not, could you let him know that I’m sorry for ruining his race, it wasn’t intentional at all.![]()

the most balanced real cars (FR) now have the worst tyre wear, thanks to MR and FF moaners
go go go
This was essentially the strategy I used, especially for the North American races. In hindsight, I should possibly have gone for just a two-stopper, for the final race there in particular.Edit - 6 RM - 9 RS - refuel + 1 RH - 9 RS
I went 2H, 5S, 5S, 5S, taking on 5% fuel at the first two stops so I only needed a shorter final stop. Qualified 11th, finished 4th (came out of the pits for the last time in 7th) in an all A/S (two S/S) lobby. Which I'll take for 137pt and 952 DR.
