What do you expect the Power Pack DLC will cost?

mfw the DLC ends up costing nearly as much as the game but I buy it anyway just to get some more damn GT content.

Sneaking in a couple paid DLC exclusive cars and a new track to accompany the new stuff in Spec 3 would certainly sweeten the deal.

Shame it's PS5 only, probably still a decent amount of us on PS4 Pro/PS4, I could potentially upgrade but when I only play GT on console and nothing else it doesn't seem worth it. Would be nice if PS4 could have the rest of it but no Sophy, guess there's something else in there that means they can't suppor the older hardware.
Yeah I don't understand why not just offer a version with the base AI for us PS4 peasants, kinda disappointing to be left behind like this.

Well, as a relatively newcomer to the game (I've had the PS5 for about a month now, and the game came bundled with it), I have a unique perspective because I was not there for launch and its subsequent evolution. It's ok, because I also got it before the next iteration and I'm not yet starving for content, so the DLC can wait (or I could just succumb to FOMO, who knows?).

By the way, that DLC is also telling me to NOT expect GT8 on PS5.

Well played PD. Well played. Promise the old GT feel and endurance races etc.. Drip feed us okay to mediocre content for 3 years and makes us feel like we are not heard then boom paid DLC which most of will happily pay for 😁 Kaz & Sony playing chess while we're playing checkers

Which Porsche is that? I don't recognize the body kit and headlights.
Definitely looks like a whole lot of new customization options for existing cars will arrive as well.

This is my biggest concern. Is Kaz telling us what is in the Power Pack?? Or is the website accurate to multiple 24 hour races..

I assume, it’s because the races will use the also announced Sophy 3.0 (Sophy was never available on PS4) and these races will contain qualifying sessions (you wouldn’t want that on the default AI :yuck:)

One thing still left to be seen that I’m curious about is the extent of those “Improvements to online races” they mentioned in the original Spec III announcement

Gt7 DeAd GaMe

In all seriousness, I'm okay with paid DLC for GT7. We've been getting free updates for years now, some of which really transformed the game. I have nearly 3,000 hours on GT7, so I've gotten more than my money's worth. However much the DLC ends up costing, I'm certain it'd be much cheaper than gambling on crappy mobile gacha games.

Pretty smart move of PD to save the announcement of 2 tracks and the Espace F1 before tempting us with paid DLC

Still, I don't know if I want the Power Pack just yet. I recognise that qualifying and endurance racing has been highly requested since launch, but I personally don't see the appeal of endurance racing without mechanical failures, a chance for the AI to make mistakes, or driver swaps.

Also, I recall that in GT3, the AI would have impossibly quick qualifying pace, only to fall off as per usual during the race. I hope the Power Pack Qualifying isn't as nonsensical as that. Even if the pace were realistic, it tends to turn races into glorified time trials. We desperately need more information than what we currently have.

If all the new campaign races are done with Sophy, I might be sold. I'd be completely sold if Sophy 3.0 is available in Custom Race across almost every car and track to date.

I hope the new visual customisation options previewed on the 911 and Beetle aren't exclusive to the Power Pack. Seems a bit scummy to paywall visual customisation options. Imagine if they make safety car strobe lights available on all cars but WHOOPS, you gotta pay up!

If that red AE86 and baja tuned Beetle + Porsche are custom made cars, I hope this means we're getting a continuation of the custom racing cars that GT is known for producing. They can be slot in to Gr. B with PD logic.

FTO LM Race Car a possibility?!

I've seen several references to $20 - but where are people seeing the price?
The one I saw here was a person guessing. I already went back to remove the specific amount from my post as not to cause more confusion lol

I'm sure a lot of people would be pleased if they were able to move this Full Race Weekend feature over to Sport or Lobby races. I'm assuming that's not already in there.

It's not fair to those of us that do not have ps5 (and there are many), why do we get excluded? It's not fair
On the contrary. I think the PS4 has held back the development of GT7 enough. 5 years is more than enough time to upgrade and black friday is coming up. So it's probably cheaper than ever now. I honestly don't know how people still play GT on PS4. The load times are painfully slow, you don't get Sophy, you can't race in daily races with other PS5 users and it suffers from major lag spikes in most lobby practice. The only thing it has going for it, is it's ability to play the basic version of GT7.

Yeah, I don't know how much the base GT7 was at launch. I know what I paid for my first copy in late 2022 though. I'm sniffin' the hopium this power pack ain't more than that was.

I've had in excess of 1,200 hours of entertainment from GT7 over the past three years, and I've hardly spent any money on alternative games (Thanks PS+ monthlies), so a paid DLC of this potential is about the easiest sell I've ever seen.

Also, to be frank, I'm wary of "GT8" because of the stuttering release experience we all had for the current game. Building upon what we already have to this degree is very exciting.

I'm keeping my eyes on this one.

Please be split timing in VR... or whether other drivers are pitting in VR... or a button to toggle the HUD on or off for VR... or...

Mediocre why? Spec II was really good.

No mention of prizes to be won from the racing series. Could the 5 million credits possibly be the prize money? Surely not but it would be hilarious.

Doesn’t anyone still here already have hundreds of hours in the game and yet still some complain about it being paid DLC? I’m just happy they are releasing something this substantial three years after launch, I don’t really care about the price at this point.

Super cool to see them still supporting the game in such a significant way.

Wow, with qualifying and Sophy 3.0, this is genuinely an opportunity for people to get better/faster without the necessary challenge of Sport Mode.

It opens up so many possibilities, especially for those of us who have been determined enough to buy all of the cars and engine swaps in the game.
