April update?,?

Doesn’t anyone still here already have hundreds of hours in the game and yet still some complain about it being paid DLC? I’m just happy they are releasing something this substantial three years after launch, I don’t really care about the price at this point.
I have no problem with pay dlc if its not more than 30$ tough 😁

Not announced, so not expecting it, but haven't all Gran Turismo games that have included 24 Hour race events also had B-Spec, so you don't have to solo the whole thing?
I really hope that there's mid-race saving at pitstops too, for that matter.

I've seen several references to $20 - but where are people seeing the price?

It is speculation from several users (sounds more how much they are willing to pay instead a real leak)

I've been having A LOT of fun with Sophy custom races lately, but when you race against her so much you see all of her flaws and we still have to do things to put ourselves at a disadvantage for the racing to be decent. Hopefully 3.0 fixes all or most of these flaws.

I wonder if the power pack will have difficulty setting, if not, then sadly this DLC is not for me, I beat can't beat current GT Sophy on hard. :embarrassed:
They way they have shown it being presented so far I get the impression it will have set difficulty but with a curve so earlier events may be easier than later events, but I would be happy with adjustable difficulty as well since I am just a lowly C driver myself.

That was a post from 2022, not this year.
Makes sense in brand new on here haha an just realised I might of sounded like a tool haha any advice would be awesome 👌🏻

Fantastic little surprise, Will definitely be purchasing this. Couple more weeks to go! Exciting times.

It looks like @Akmuq got access to the price through a website modifer of some sort? I asked the person that originally sent it to me how they got it (They found the EMEA euro region pricing) and it looks like there was a secret dev-only query they forgot to disable. I can't seem to replicate it now though, so it seems they were very quick to patch this one out.

Im on a limited income... its almost impossible
I understand that. If I didn't have one already it would be difficult to justify getting one due all of my monthly obligations. So I get it hopefully something will open for you get a PS5

It's not fair to those of us that do not have ps5 (and there are many), why do we get excluded? It's not fair

Because Sophy is PS5-only. The PS5's been out for 5 years. About time to uprgade.

Because it uses Sophy 3 which is PS5 only. Just be happy you got the game on your decade old console at all.
Ok just talked to a good friend and he can help me get a ps5 with my limited budget. I will not have to be without....

Just to carry over my enthusiasm from the other thread, because I'm typically one of the "realist"/bummer people around here:

This is awesome. Exactly the sort've stuff I've been imagining for a theoretical GT8. More races based in reality.

I'm also very excited to see them finally trying a paid DLC. I hope this finally gives them some real data and feedback on what people are willing to spend money on and how much. I am more than happy to pay for more content if the ratio to $$$ feels fair. I think a $20 price tag on this would be good. Its also hard to mentally separate the car/track content that's part of the patch from the "Power Pack" DLC. So maybe $20 is an okay price. At the same time I absolutely love this series, they've made it this far without charging for content, and I really want to support Polyphony and hopefully they reciprocate that with a faster content release pace than we've had. So I'd be okay paying almost any amount which isn't the reality for casual fans. I'm essentially a "Whale" for Gran Turismo but I'm not spending a dime on stupid in-game currency.

Now see, even though this isn't directly part of the Spec 3 patch, its what they've been working on alongside that content as well.. So now when I say THIS feels like a Spec 3 update and it previously didn't.. This is what I meant. Girthy content and features beyond a couple cars and tracks.

Super excited. Happy the community has something to be excited about together. Wooooo I can't wait!
