£24.99. I'm in at that price.
Don't know why they've said "event car" singular when it looks like there's multiple to choose from in each event, and you choose a more difficult one to get better rewards.
This is a deep cut, but for those who've played Riding Spirits II, it's like the boss battles in that game where you can choose a worse bike but you got more stuff for doing so.
Not sure about being able to select all of them but like mentioned in the first quoted post there is a selection of different cars with regards to difficulty.I don't mind the not being able to use garage cars in power pack thing, as long as there is a decent selection to choose from. Like in the Group C event(s), if it doesn't let you choose from all of them, that would be a little disappointing.
I am surprised that there are actual cars for your garage exclusive to the Power Pack. There is indeed 6 of them.…

After completing Menu Book No. 9, "Championship: Tokyo Highway Parade," a sailing boat icon will appear on the lower left of the World Map. Select this Pavilion to access the Power Pack purchase screen.
I like it, my favourite part of every GT game is Licenses/Missions/Special Events that put you in a pre-determined car and task you with reaching a goal. Also why I like the weekly time trials in GT7.I was right about there being no garage cars, so take that, poop emoji people.
Kinda sucks for those who want to use their favourite Gr.3 tune that’s all dialled in, but I think having a few preselected cars for each event adds to the replayability. Trying to gold every race with each car would add probably a third run’s worth of playtime to the DLC.
Is this their hardcore/authentic mode like PMR?Once the race starts, there are no do-overs and no second chances. This is pure racing, where every decision carries weight all the way to the checkered flag.
You don't know yet how Sophy 3.0 works. So why speculate about a boost that only did specific things to Sophy 2.0?Does "true racing experience" mean they switch the boost to "off"?
I am trully worried about this but at the same time it would be pretty funny if it ruined the concept of the DLC.
I sure will wait how it turns out.
Not to stir things up, but at the end of the trailer, the footage at Daytona shows all group 3 cars together, and the leader well ahead .. that's very similar to the current Sophy behavior we have.Does "true racing experience" mean they switch the boost to "off"?
