So far no.. however you don’t want to mess up your time and start in the back.Did anyone try the Power Pack races yet?One thing I wonder about... is a qualification lap ruined by colliding or going off track and are any errors penalized during the main race?
If you like playing in single player absolutely yes.So, is it worth buying or not?
Seems a bit stupid that there are no penalties for collisions and track cuts, you can literally go across entire chicanes and cut half a track with no problems
Oh yeah the 5M weren‘t even an option before, right?? I just noticed that after reading your reply… I think 2M was the max amount before..?honestly, the addition of a 5M credit package (ignoring the fact that the mtx credits are laughably over-priced to begin with) at exactly the same time as the DLC that includes 5M credits releases is some pretty ****ing cynical and scammy marketing. You won't be the only person that makes that mistake I can assure you.
My point was it doesn't seem very realistic. Or nose to tail. 4 laps of Laguna Seca in the weakest of the 3 car options. After 12 laps at Daytona I won by 35 seconds in the 2nd of the 3 car choices. I fell for the marketing and believed that these races would actually be fun.![]()

No, not contradictory. Setting up a Sophy race in world circuits is challenging, most races are actually really good, and close.Am I going crazy or does your last sentence completely contradict the stuff you said before it? Anyway, the product information clearly states Sophy 3.0 is used in the power pack races.
Actually, you can see that the game wouldn't have been released in time if we' d waitrd for all this stuff. With the care and attention PD puts into their modelling...you only need to look at other simulators and the trouble they are having by rushing content. Noone is forced to buy the DLC. Just stick to the base game if it's a problem for you.$30 for content that should have been in the game for free from the start.

For both PS4 and PS5 you can suspend and resume, rather than keeping them on the whole time. That's a possibility.Surely they haven't gone back to having to keep your console on for the entire race?
True. But it would still be a stupid setup. For both PS4 and PS5 you can suspend and resume, rather than keeping them on the whole time. That's a possibility.
Also worth noting that there's four races missing from the PP overview screen...
Or anything else. You can only exit PP races by retiring from them.True. But it would still be a stupid setup.
Especially if you can't join any GTWS sport mode races in the meantime.
Yes, I pointed out the GTWS races specifically as they only are available for short timeslots, and matter for championship standings to qualify for real world events.Or anything else. You can only exit PP races by retiring from them.
Can't you just quit and advance to next session?I think it's a shame that the races are so rigid.
You can't change the qualifying times or the length of the races.
Because doing practice/qualifying for three laps is overkill.

Yes, you can. Can't you just quit and advance to next session?

You can't skip qualifying though, can you? Only practice.Yes, you can.
There's also a time-advance button in the pits which speeds it up by what looks like a factor of ten...
You can skip qualifying you don’t have to set a time.. Just fast-forward the session.I set one lap and fastward the rest of the session.. if you don’t set a time it can be challenging to be the stage. You can't skip qualifying though, can you? Only practice.
In qualy there's only a button which says it will also retire you from the race.

My bad.You can skip qualifying you don’t have to set a time.
But only by fast forwarding right? You can't skip to the end of the session as in practice, as far as I could tell. You can skip qualifying you don’t have to set a time.
Yes.. I can understand skipping Practice but the qualifying is what makes the races no? I tried to start from the back and could catch up to 5 lol.But only by fast forwarding right? You can't skip to the end of the session as in practice, as far as I could tell.
Lol, the first thing you hear/see in the Power Pack DLC is @Tom saying "The Power Pack is an attempt".
Apparently the 930 Turbo Rallye is based on a real car campaigned by Tuthill UK that's racing at East African Safari Rally this weekend! (Slide 5)
The original question was "Can't you just quit and advance to next session?", so I was responding to that.Yes.. I can understand skipping Practice but the qualifying is what makes the races no? I tried to start from the back and could catch up to 5 lol.
