Nurburgring is spotted but more stars needed to unlock for me. Did you race 24h races? Real time 24h or not?

There are 4 hidden races, all of them are endurance races

24h nurburgring and 24h LeMans are there.

Ju just need to complete all Nurburgring races and all Historic to get them

Quick observations after about 10 hrs playtime in the PP:

Sarah is too annoying, too often. I don't want pop ups mid race. At all.

Penalties for heavy car contact, wall contact and track limits should be ON. Maybe only at the chilli levels. Otherwise, too easy to cheat/gain advantage (even accidentally).

Some of the chilli cars (supposedly worse than the non-chilli cars) are better * (eg the Shigeno is better than the base 86 D-Spec in the hachiroku races, bit slower on Fuji straight, but feels much better in the turns). *In my hands, on my controller.

Still think the rain in the Civic Suzuka race is v odd. Track gets soaked, rain meter well above first bar, NO effect on car handling at all. At LM30min we'd be spinning in a straight line, here, the rain seems cosmetic - are other rain races in the PP similar? And will PD change it?

Edit: Excellent value for money so far.

AI slowed down a good bit though, I was able to reconnect to first 3 cars and get to 2nd place thanks to the rain. After that I never catched Miyazono. Not paid attention to what tyres we are on. Some compounds do quite well in the rain.

Can you re-do the race again if you don't finish in good place or you just can Race once the Races...?
Of course, otherwise medium players like me would have a very hard time getting enough stars to unlock content

FF Tuning Race at Willow Springs is definitely the hardest I've done so far.

That Elentra is on something, I feel like it does corners better than anyone else . I can only get 2nd.

My only chance is to make a move on the first corner then play defense against it or run it off the road

Hmm. Interesting. I've done that race about ten times, love it, and it's rained four or five times, v heavily for more than a lap at least 3 times (including the first time when I pitted). Haven't noticed AI slowing, but player car cannot be affected as no inters/wets available in pits, so you're obviously expected to just drive on. I can drive in this heavy rain exactly as if it isn't there. Perhaps, if it does slow the AI, it's there to help the player win? It is the hardest race in the tree tbh, especially at chilli levels. AI v aggressive here too, Hizal's punted me off at Degner at least twice.

Jgtc Suzuka 6 hours

Gt3 nbr 24
Gt1 spa 8

Correct?

The Le Mans race is the only one I’ve not seen a screen shot of. I’ve got two more Group C races to go to unlock - but I’ll then need some stars to enter it

Yes this one made me doubt if I know how to drive this track properly.....

Hi everyone, after about 1,400 km and more than 500 stars, I managed to unlock two of the four endurance races. And yes, they really do last 24 hours! Fantastic, although I don't know if you can save and exit; I'll find out tomorrow!
A small point that many of you have already made: we purchased all the GT7 cars, but unfortunately we can't use them in the DLC races! I understand that Sophy has been implemented and perhaps pre-set with these cars, but what's the point of being a level 70 collector if you have to use those three cars? And if you choose the right one, you'll have to battle it out with two or three opponents, while the others finish 30 seconds behind. Too bad.
But then: why would I want to see the entire starting grid before the race? Minutes wasted.
Stay tuned!

I must say I’m a little disappointed with the LM24h race - but understandable. Still think it would’ve been good if they called it Legends of Le Mans and had more of a spread of the top classes

I’m happy with an old school Group C Le Mans no-chicane race, as long as they patch in a save system.

That nurburgring one though, that will forever stay unfinished unless B-Spec Bob becomes available.

There are so many small things that are wrong with this PP, it's absolutely maddening!

Sarah, no saves, rubber banding, wildly unbalanced grids for some races, no ability to adjust race length (only 3 laps, really?), etc.

And yet. It is fun. 50 events doesn't sound like much but it's an impressive amount of content for £25 in my opinion; a small price for hours of fun.

I've done that race three times, and like you, the Elantra seems unbeatable in the second corner and on the exit onto the straight that leads to the final corner.
But I managed to beat him with the Civic, exiting the final corner very well, as he takes it slower. I caught him at the end of the straight at the beginning of the last lap, and a small bump and... bye!!:D:D

Are the civics on road tyres at the time? They should have pretty good wet weather performance

I think I’m talking about a different wet race, but a similar experience.

Think it was on the Nürburgring? Anyway I had racing hards and no problem staying on the road even though the wetness indicator was way above the first segment.

I think Sophy (3.0!) still can’t really drive in the wet therefore they tone it down.

Yeah the starts are my main quibble. There's almost no point starting on the front row in one of the chili cars as you'll just get passed by about half a dozen opponents anyway.
Hopefully maybe PD might look at this and give a small update at some point.Start on the front row and drop to sixth before the first corner.😄

Are we able to save during a pitstop on the endurance races?

I'm curious whether there's anything reward-wise upon full completion of this.

You can't really put anything too good there because most of the playerbase isn't going to do 62 hours of endurance racing. But at the same time if you do put all that time in you'd feel kind of cheated if there wasn't even some credits waiting at the end.

My god rally is still just so bad.
Like I refuse to believe that the fine people at PD sit down with their own rally mode and think they really have something there.
Does anybody think this is a fun mode for people to play?
I don't mind them, they are quite fun in VR with a wheel.

Really not impressed with lack of being able to save in endurance races - I play on my wife's PS5 and get maybe 3 hours a day if I don't fancy doing anything else at all (including getting decent sleep :p ) and the wife and kids both play stuff on it on their own accounts which I'm assuming will close GT7 if I suspend the game on my account.

Ah well, I'll probably still get the DLC for Christmas as there's nothing else i particularly want :D
