Ahhh!!!!! - don't make the result public like that!! Some people don't want to know the result until they see the replay!

Seriously though - good result. Kimi leads the championship now. Two races in a row without a certain 5-time champion on the podium too.

The new regs kick arse!

Yahoo! Kimi win his first GP and Ferrari only managed 2 and 6.
Pity David, Montoya and Jensen, especially Jensen, so close yet so far.

Here are the postions for no. 1 till 7 :

1. Kimi Raikkonen ( McLaren )
2. Rubens Barichello ( Ferrari )
3. Fernando Alonso ( Renault )
4. R. Schumacher ( BMW Williams )
5. Jarno Trulli ( Renault ) *
6. M. Schumacher ( Ferrari )
7. Jenson Button ( BAR Honda )

NOTE * : I'm not sure of no. 5 , but I think its Jarno Trulli.

Bugger, I'll have to watch the replay. Stupid Free National TV!!!! Arg.

We're in the same boat because of the V8 Supercar meeting in Adelaide, and Ten didn't even flick the live rights to Foxtel. I 'watched' the race live on the net.

Maybe he meant live text updates from the Internet . I don't know any websites which offer live video telecast of F1 races .

I'm just watching the GP now - I'm starting to think the reason Ron Dennis is ticked with the new rules is he knew McLaren had a strong car this year. They seem to be ahead of Williams this year - can't wait to see a straight fight between Ferrari and McLaren to see who's better.

Silly error from Michael at the first corner, too.

First off, sorry but I didn't know you had to insert spoiler warnings. Apologies :)

Second, it is apparent the new rules are working a treat because Ferrari can't get to grips :)

No biggie - try to keep the titles generic - something like 'Malaysian GP Results!'. Quite a few people are taping the race and don't want to know the result before they watch the tape.

if I didnt want to see the results I wouldnt go to this or many other webpages

EDIT: I forgot to say that this was a totally awesome GP.

I am new to F1. But I feel angry for not seeing all of the GP's during my life. They are the sweetest thing to watch. I love it. I am more thrilled now than I was after the Aussie GP.

It was worth getting up at 6.30am on my free sunday morning.

Or just staying up until 6:45am and then falling asleep thinking "What an exciting race" then waking up at 2pm to watch the replay. What luck. :p

It also looks like renault are pretty strong now, if only they didn't have an engine that wasn't constantly 'In development' although every time I see MS now he looks really worried.

Do you think Ferrari will bring their new car to Brazil?

Ah, the lengths that some people will go to to watch a race on a free Sunday morn. Dedicated motor racing fans.

I don't think so. Apparently Badoer wrote one of the F2003-GA's off at Mugello.

Someone needs to take Pizzonia outside and give him a good kicking. He should definitely be censured by the FIA for his first-lap antics.
