I think you overreacted a bit there Eddy. You post something on the internet; you're bound to get some negative remarks from people who dont understand whats going on or just dont like what you're doing. You have to admit that's not very surprising..

But your reply had nothing to do with what he found lame. He thought the name "Burst" was lame. He didnt say anything about the video quality, the drifting in it, or the edit-ing for that matter..

I would agree with you that he could have just said: Hey; i dont like the fact that your GT5 team uses the same name as an RL drift team. But to challenge him to make a vid like yours, while his critisism is not directed at the video, is just childish. He's probable not even a GT5 player.


@ the team; I know you guys are not asking for my opinion, but your team has a good reputation as far as i know, and to keep it that way i think you can best just ignore those comments and be the better/bigger man..

After watching the vid: Cool vid guys! Excellent drifting and nice transitions. Liking the music aswell..



EDIT: lol i didnt even know it was on the official RL Team Burst Facebook page. But it adds to my point. I dont think the real team burst would like to be associated with a bunch of kids who go picking "Comment fights" with random people who visit THEIR facebook page. But congrats big time on them showing your video on their facebook page!!
 
I agree, that's why I tried to add in a friendly way that we aren't pretending to be the real ones at all but just fans.
And what Duman actually meant with ''Official''
 
I got it on that fanpage, I already posted here that I'd do that. SR20DoriKen did that for me, his friend runs the fan page.

@ Powell , don't be so aggressive mate, let people have their opinion, I haven't seen what video it was, I hoped for the new one. I'll try to get that one on the page. The old one is more than a year old, we were. Just having our balance in the team.

Yeah, I'm sure it will come back better next year! And btw, Dean Kearney bought Robbie Nishida's old 180SX, And it's running around 630HP.

Started to cut the Gatebil footage. Just the breisladd stuff is almost 30 minutes, with most fails cut out.... and I only recorded the qualifying. I filmed too much lol

Mkay, My white twin turbo Supra is the main car, reserve car is a red single turbo Supra, no need for a 3rd car.

Are you sure? You might need a smaller car for tight tracks.

No I really don't need another car. I neither like to use many different cars at the same time nor am I able to get used to them again.

And the entry was pretty impressive.

CONGRATS burst : monsterGAUZ won my modern jdm comp , and onomatopeja was second, nice drifting guys!
 
Brought my plane out to the field for half an hour, pulled a fair few stunts, landed it and heard an applause, looked at the road and 10 cars were parked watching me! I felt very proud concidering I haven't been flying a week!
