How come im not showing on race results.would hate it if i endured 1hr of quali and race ,trudging round at the back with no one to race against for nothing.The 911,a lovely car to drive but massively under powered for that circuit I fear Spa will be much the same

If you mean my post with the not validated results, its perhaps you left directly after you passed finish line. i am waiting with the screenshot until the entire race is over. When the first crosses the finish line there are some seconds (depending on track) at Monza its about 130 s until the results are shown on screen. If someone leaves earlier it won´t be shown in my app but of course on everyones screen. Thats why sometimes there are racers missing on my results list, but as I mentioned before I consider this list as "not validated".

Important Information

Change to weather settings - after further testing I have changed the weather settings for the next round to give greater visual appeal and lower the risk of collisions. New settings:

Setting Date = 17/05/70
Time = 12:00
Time Progression = 15 X
Weather Slots = 4 (Hazy / Overcast / Hazy / Fog)
Weather = 60 X

Qualifying = Hazy

Another eventful race with the Ferrari.

Qualifying was good although I couldn’t get a good lap together. I also learnt that the Ferrari could completely lose control on a straight because of a bump. @lancerevoo was witness of that.

The race was fine until the car flipped again on a downhill straight, which allowed @AndreasR and @lancerevoo to pass. Then I tried to chase @AndreasR until I lost control 3/4 into the race. @lancerevoo then crashed onto me while I was trying to recover the car. I am sorry for getting in your way.

And that was it. Massive amount of damage and pitted for more than a minute. Finished second after @lancerevoo left the room. Well deserved win by @AndreasR. He showed an impressive pace throughout the race and made no mistakes.

If I remember correctly, I think you use loose. Perhaps the slightly softer suspension of the stable setup might help absorb the irregularities?
There is the LeMans setting too, but the lowered down force might the cause the car to launch itself skywards on a bumpy track!

I think stable setup would solve the issue of the snap oversteer but would increase the understeer that also characterises this car.

It’s generally difficult to drive but yesterday was a notch higher on the scale, especially trying to match Andreas and Lancerevoo’s times.

Also, my complete lack of training is not helping.

Race Settings - Slight Changes

After further testing I have made some improvements to the race settings for Monday's Race. The changes are as follows:

Time Progression = 15X
Weather = Light Cloud / Medium Cloud / Light Cloud / Clear

The above will also apply to Wednesday.

Hi Napalm - use the Ferrari 512S race number 7 - Friday_GTRP is currently on holiday so his car is free this week - I am sure you can get a good result and make him proud!

@Harsk100 - I am sorry that the game has been changed from PC1 so now non-DLC owners cannot race on tracks that they don't have. Previously you could race on them online, but not practise on your own offline.

It's a shame that the game does not let us (as non-DLC Owners) race in that track. So that's why I wasn't able to attend.

Welcome Andrew we are racing on Mon, at the same time, have you got the Historic Le Mans track? You need it to race, in Project Cars 1, could join without dlc, but now have to.
Sick will let you know what car too use, times etc.

Hi there Andrew. Looking at Sick's list I'd say it's the number 11 Ferrari 512M. So give that a try out anyway. Although due to the various absentees over the summer period to even things up in the race Sick may want to change this to another car. He'll probably let you know for sure later today. And as John says you do need the Le Mans pack for this week.


And talking of absentees: @Sick Cylinder, my new fibre connection doesn't start until a week next Wednesday but, typically after ordering, my "normal" broadband has now become fairly quick and quite reliable! So I'm thinking of activating my Plus and returning to the fold earlier than I'd planned. Probably this evening (Monday). There maybe further telephonic disruption next week though.

I notice I'll be back just in time for the 911. I wouldn't want to miss that! See you all at the back.

Hi Andrew - as John says we have some spaces in tonight's race (Monday) - it might be good practise for Wednesday! If you are free to race on Monday as well choose a Ford Mark 4 (1967) race number 51 (Vintage Prototype B). Note we start with a standing start, by row at approximately 1 second intervals in order to reduce startline and first corner crashes,

Slight change to settings for both Monday and Wednesday - Session Start Time 01:00 (Night), Time Progression = 10 X, Weather slots 4 = Clear, Light Cloud, Clear, Hazy. Weather Progression = Sync to race.
