I´m so happy I found the DeLorean, which cost me around 1 million if I add what I spent on fixing the engine, chassis, puting some tires, weight reduction stage 1, a low rpm turbo and some engine tweeks. The end result was a fairly competitive 300HP sportscar that cost me big bucks. But it drives really nice, though.

I bought a Citroen GT (the road car), but I was quite unsatisfied with pretty much everything but the looks, so I got rid of it. Probably I will grind to get the electric version later. I remember that thing being rediculously fast in GT5P.

The shelby handles pretty well. I tend to drift it cause it's way easier than losing more speed.

If you are gonna use a fully upgraded shelby, drift it. Yes. With Racing Soft Tires..

I got a Trial Celica, Chevrolet Corvette C5 (Standard), Audi RS6 Avant (S), Nissan BE1, and a Lexus IS200 Crossport. That's all I can remember =P. Saw the last race car I need, the Viper GTRS Team Oreca #51 but I only had 200,000 =(

Not too long ago, I picked up the Holden Monaro. I guess I'm on a mini-Crusade to buy all the Australian cars. Sadly, both of those Aussie cars are the Holdens. Don't have the V8 Supercar or any of the FPV's yet. It's 494 cars for me right now. I want to go with a bang to get my 500th car when I eventually get there. Oh... I forgot to mention- I recently got the Trial Celica from the Used Car dealer in addition to the other cars I recently picked up. I had to mention the Trial Celica after ilikewaffles11 mentioned that car. By the way... I like waffles too.

Somebody DOESN'T like cars for someone to be hating on the FIAT 500 (Post #1438). One thing about the car collection deal- you're just collecting cars. Doesn't mean you're going to race all of them. I know I'll have a hell of a lot of money if I were to sell off most of the cars I bought. I'm not selling because I'm trying to reach that 1,000 car goal.

So keep buying cars in GT5. Why? We love cars!

Finally. Someone who appreciates cars. Recently everyone is Veyron this, X2011 that... Where´s the appreciation for other cars? Just because they have less than 200HP and are unable to reach 250mph, doesn´t mean they can´t be fun.

Indeed. Just bought an Insight and I'm actually enjoying it. Even if low powered, it retains that lightweight Honda feel. Very surprising!

I hate creating online lobbies and some idiot joins and says something along the lines of "Everyone use a Veyron/X2010/X2011". What's the fun in total annihilation of the competition? I had more fun driving a stock Honda Odyssey in the Sunday Cup and wining by less than .10 seconds than using an X2010 to do an endurance.

I bought cars #499 and #500 to my collection. Number 499 is my first of the brand-new machines- the 2011 Nissan GT-R that raced the Nürburgring 24H. Number 500? That would be a car called... the Pagani Zonda R. Afterwards, 501 was the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG, which I FINALLY got around to buying.

Bought Nismo 400R and its kinda cool. Should handle like a champ as all nismo cars do. Ill surely take it for a spin 'round the ring soon. Bought another skyline that looks like an older version of the Blitz one in NCD with blue letters. And a bunch of mx5s, s2ks, gtos and some other duplicate crap to fill my collection.

I've bought a Corvette ZR1 and will be using it in the Nurburgring 4h today (fitted it with SMs), ready to crush any S2k Turbo in it's supercharged V8.

EDIT: And I'll be taking it to the Tsukuba 9h too. And crushing another genetically modified S2000 in the process.

Agreed. I have a little love/hate thing going on with them because the Expert Challenge series is frustrating without a wheel, for me anyway.

Haven't bought anything yet as I haven't been on GT5 today, but when I jump on I'm gonna snag up the premium RX-7s from the dealership.

Yesterday, the DeLorean and Citroen GT like I mentioned in my previous post. Today I thought I´d gave the Mustang GT a chance. Don´t like the fact that it´s an automatic, but it shifts like a manual. They could´ve easily make it like the SL55 or the IS-F that do sound like automatics, but I´m willing to ignore that.

I painted it in a very dark green (kind of a british racing green, but darker), and put on some nice American Racing wheels. If only we could have an option to do a wing delete, this thing would look exactly like the Mustang Bullit. Looks absolutely gorgeous. And it sounds beautiful with the stock exhaust.

I bought that Galant from the OCD, took it to daytona and got a 1:16. I tuned it, painted it black, added a wing, took it back to Daytona, got a 1:02
And it sounds godly

I just bought the track pack (Spa/kart) -- I was very tempted to buy the entire DLC package, but the Stig suit is the only non-track content I was interested in, and I can't justify purchasing all the suits if I only want 1 of them.

I tend to prefer the low to mid-level cars over the racers :shrug:
