Just bought a blue Charger Super Bee from the OCD.
 
I finally got around to getting the 2008 Dodge Viper SRT10 ACR. I bought her in Viper Violet. It's car #738 in my collection as of now.
 
PoorJoe 905 Race Car. Thought I'd get it since I have the 908.

(I always can't seem to spell that French manufacturer name :ouch:)
 
Looks like the standard cars shopping car will get a boost with the new feature to finally change the rims on them!
 
Peugeot is the maker of the 905 and the 908. Even I'm kind of remembering how to spell certain makes, like I've figured out spelling Citroen as "Citroën."
 
Scooped up a Schulze for the TT... I might have been expecting more.

I got the beautiful Corvette C2 race car that I loved in Gran Turismo 4. It was from the Online Car Dealership. I also got (this will depress some of my Australian friends) GT5's only Australian V8 Supercar, not to mention the only Australian race car in GT5- the 2000 Ford Falcon XR8 Race Car. This was the car I used to win the 24 Hours at the Nürburgring in GT4.

I think the car count for me is now at 742 with these two purchases. I may even try to lock up the Panoz Esperante GT1. I'm about 1.2 million Credits light, though. And I want to save up to hopefully (finally) get the Nissan R390 Road Car once it finally shows up in the Used Car Dealer.
 
Bought my second Rs200 road car. Love the looks of the RS.
 
I finally found the the Jaguar XJ220 LM Racecar in the UCD, the livery isn't to exciting, but it's a decent car.
 
Bought a Shelby Series-1 last night. With a few upgrades bumping it to 400hp and a nice tune from the GTVault, it's seriously one of the best cars in the game.
 
Got another LSB M3 '04, 2nd M3 GTR road car, and 3rd M3 GTR race car. Now, just waiting for the DLC and updates.

I just bought in GT5 the 2004 Lexus IS 200 GT-1 Race Car from the Used Car dealer. It is the most curious purchase of my most recent purchases. This race car is white with many red accents on it. Its car number is #10. Very interesting looking car if you ever come across it. It has a vicious roar as well.

It was in GT4, provided you had a Korean copy of the game, and was in PSP as well 👍

Fun little car, a nice match for the 320i Touring Car, and based off a car that ran in the Korean touring car championship, IIRC. A good find, since it's fairly rare - I found one about a week into playing and foolishly traded it away, only to wait months to finally get it back!

I bought... another Caldina early in the morning yesterday. My Canary Yellow one has won a bunch of online races with some of the chat regulars, so I figured a back-up wouldn't hurt :D
 
Had a refresh of 6 cars, three of which were different year Euno's, and one lone Roadster. Grabbed them all for the collection, but still kind of steamed about the nearly all Mazda Roadster offering. Only saving grace was picking up the Sunfire and PT Cruiser out of that bunch as well :ouch:

This is a "why?" thread for discussion. It's not like people are overly concerned about what you buy in GT5. It's just casual discussion. So you bought something cool in GT5. Tell us about it! What are we getting out of this? Simple- discussion. Without discussion and chatter, an online forum just goes flat, and flat ain't cool. You dig?

Having said this, I got the Viper GTS-R Concept from the Online Car Dealer. Still trying to raise money to hopefully get the Esperante GT1 while it's still in the Online Car Dealership. And of course, anxiously awaiting/wondering when the R390 GT1 Road Car will finally show up so I can finally get some other cars I've wanted to get.
 
Bought majority if the cars I fishy gave from the current ocd collection, plus an extra xr8
 
Today, I finally got around to getting one of the Peugeot Sport 908s and found a Ur-Quattro in the UCD to build to 1983 Group B A2 specs.
 
Saw a Viper GTS-R #51 and decided to get it since the Corvette C5-R is in the OCD. These awesome cars coming up really makes it hard for me to amass a lot of Credits. :ouch:

How are you raising money nowadays? The 3 million needed for the Panoz can be raised in less than 45 minutes with the seasonals. I bought an X2010 Friday night and made 15 million back in one day just by testing a few cars on the European hot hatch. I may have to buy another x2010 tonight.
 
I bought a Ferrari 458 italia..... and?.....has that interested you?....can you not do the exact same as anyone else?.....what the hell is the point?

Is GT5 a good attention grabbing game that you can't put down?
One look through the threads on here says a big fat NO!
I wonder if rhe Forza forums have as many pointless boring threads? Probably not because they are actually playing the game!
