Not Perspex, it's Lexan. Lexan was in its early years of development, and it was used for generating downforce in the 2J. It was used as the spoiler, and also for the side and under-skirts to maintain low pressure under the car.What's with the perspex panel near the top anyway?
That's pretty routine in racing. Even the old Ford Mk IV had red knockoffs on one side and blue on the other. It's how the crews tell which side of the car the tire belongs on -- especially important with directional tires. It's been done in racing a long, long time.b) what's up with the different colored wheel hubs by side? is that s'posed to be like 'hot' and 'cold' or something?
OH OH, don't call it a shoebox! If you're talking cars, there's only ONE shoebox, and that's the 49-51 Ford...and it's not in GT5!
