If you’re going to pre-order at GameStop or Amazon, please consider purchasing it through one the affiliate links above to help support GTPlanet (we’ll receive a small commission from each sale). Thanks to all of you who sent this in so quickly!

UPDATE:  To clear up any confusion, Ken Chan from SCEA has confirmed in multiple comments on the U.S. PlayStation Blog that all of the above cars will be available in all versions of the game. Pre-ordering simply gives you access to all of these cars from the start and makes their “special visual & performance enhancements” available to you.

is anyone actually geek enough to preorder anything? i mean why cant you just show up on the day the game releases at your local store and buy the fkcing thing? i plan to do so with gta v and gt vi.

2. Logoncal21

Oh please that those 20 cars are earnable in any way if you buy the game without being pre-order.

1. Umbra344

It says that they are, in the article.

Couldn’t sleep last night… Sunday morning test drive of ‘Beebee’ came to mind. But that was many years ago and Beebee now sits in the garage in need of engine work. So I turn on 5 to get some top gear runs in before lying back down.

At 3am, the US is deep into REM sleep, so I got international and see what’s happening at R7. And I find, in a very short list, an open class room with SS tyre restrictions. Just what the Dr. ordered I thought too.

A lone Supra RZ sat at the start line, idling. Assuming it was in full tune, I introduced my self with a full tune R33 LM Edition, not the ‘road car’.

We went about it for a few laps, drafting pass each other and minding R7’s bends just before and immediately after it’s tunnel. After about 15 mins, I had tired of the R33 bouncing off the rev limiter set at 249mph. So, with a “!!!” (can’t type Japanese), I parked the Skyline and returned with a beautiful ’96 GTO.

I knew the GTO would not keep pace with the RZ but the Japanese driver didn’t mind the top speed cruising along beside me. We dance, yes?

Yes we do. After a couple of laps in the GTO, I continue the dance, utilizing the full tune 90’s turbo cars that are begging to be let loose. Next up was a ’97 Z28. Yes I know, but couldn’t resist. Not as fast as I’d hoped. Same for the ’96 GS and CTR. My Asian dance partner didn’t seem to mind. Drifting each end of the “hyperthetic” expressway, it was all things exhilarating. Better…

Because, as we did our thang, others would enter with their own 90’s turbo tunes. It was 1998 all over again! Six of us managed to get in a full lap sans any major collisions.

It’s a great felling to know that there’s a real future in GT. After nearly two hours, with very little communication, other than the tunes we brought to the track, not one out of era, race or hack car made an appearance. “Truly what dreams are made of…”, I thought as I stretched to silence the 5am alarm.

1. SZRT Ice

I liked this… Reminds me of GT through 3, and Tokyo Xtreme Racer 3 days with my best friend of 18 years. Before online gaming, he was my “dance partner” for kaido and drift. We’d record replays on VHS and and split the audio between 2 PSOne’s,with one of them playing a CD through the red output and the gaming sounds from the white. Most epic when the GTO Twin Turbo and Skyline went toe-to-toe! Amazing times man!

These days, he’s more into 2K sports games and Castle Crasher’s however.

Im looking forward to GT6. GT6 graphics need to be similar to forza 4. Forza 4 graphics are clearly better than GT5. Sound is also clearly better in forza 4. I love GT5 and play a lot of drag racing online but it misses cars forza has, paint shop, upgrade shop in forza is superior. I know kaz has sais GT5 will have lot more customization which looks promising. But every time I turn on fm4 I get into a lambo it feels like a lambo, sounds like a lambo and all the cars are premium and modelled beautifully. Forza 4 has some dynamic weather effects too despite its lack of rain and night conditions. To be honest as long as GT5 tuning and customization is much better I’ll be happy. I’m going to buy both games on both platforms because Iove both games. GT5 has better online experience with chat feature and ability to free run and dialogue to anyone. Forza doesn’t have this. There is no doubt in my mind forza is superior in terms of graphical modelling car sounds tyre wear and simulation tuning and customizations. Dynamic weather effects all contribute even the road surface looks more real in forza. But look I still love both games. They both have their strong points.

1. GTHEAD87

I agree about them having strong points. In gt5 you get a more realistic choice in tyre compound where as forza only has tyre pressure after buying a different type. I love the paint shop in forza a lot more but they should still charge credits to change colour. Forza has got really clear graphics and good car sounds. I found that if you change the sound settings on the tv you actually get much better soumds, lile the blow off valve. I had surround sound and done this and It made such a difference. I never noticed dynamic weather or time in forza 4, only after a race it would change where as gt would change mid race. Both excellent games which cant be compaired as they both do different things. Id see forza as a racing sim and gt a driving sim, but thats me.

2. GTHEAD87

Lol. Im a bit old to argue about games now. Glad others recognise the “calm people” having their opinions without some little troll interfering.

1. hobanator24

I don’t mind the money cap, but I do mind having one car take all my credits. Raise the limit to 30 mil & make the most expensive car 20 mil.

1. Fong74

Thanks! I also heard that October could be included in that “Holiday” period if referred to release dates. I think it will be November when the GT6 BlueRay will spin in our drives

2. ScotteDawg

I’m thinking Thursday, November 28th will be the GT6 release!

GT5 was released on Thursday, November 25th in 2010, so it stands to reason that GT6 will come out on the last Thursday of November this year too!

Don’t quote me on that though!

7. infamousphil

Still no mention of a proper drag strip with a tree. What’s up with that, PD? At least you did not get anyones’ hopes up this time by NOT mentioning it this time. I bring this up only because you have in the past and folks DO enjoy the sport. Enough so that it’s the only thing they do at R7 and RX. And that’s a waste.

1. SZRT Ice

Don’t be oblivious to it Phil. I’m not in to Drag Racing, but there are tons of people, entire crews, teams, websites, and Drag Racing Communities dedicated entirely to getting the fastest quarter mile, 1000m, 1 mile, and 3000m tune and run time. Drag is bigger than the Rally presence I see online, as well as the NASCAR, and Kart presence, yet those were both included. It only makes sense for Kaz/PD to do something more with Drag Racing in GT6. Here’s hoping it pans out.

2. Pit Crew

No mention of Drift improvements either, but with 5 months to go its easy to expect we will get this information eventually. Just more unnecessary PD bashing.

3. GTHEAD87

I was quite gutted that not many done rally online. Im not much into drag racing as I see it at my local strip regularly, but these comments make me want to go and give it a bash.

4. infamousphil

Rally is another thing. And bashing PD or Kaz is not my intention. I just bring up these competitions because it’s something I know people would like to see in 6.

There was talk of drag racing for 4, but all we got was NOS. And 2 had actual drag racing cars.

Five has all the ingredients for proper rallying, except for a proper venue. The only proper venue we’ve ever seen for rallying is Pike’s Peak. You ever try to drive within dirt shot of the guy ahead of you? They don’t actually do this in the real because its too dangerous and I can’t remember the last rally TT event. You’d think that Sebastian would say something to Kaz other than “wow Kaz, you have done a great job with my car’s handling!”

Continuity seems to be something that they aren’t taking very seriously outside of a looping circuit. Can these

5. infamousphil

… people really accomplish tasks of staging lights and point to point tracks? Of course they can. However, it’s as if they stop in the middle of their allotted development time to met a release schedule… for Sony?

6. infamousphil

That’s another reason I bring these up, Dojo and Ice. RX WAS supposed to be 5’s drag strip.

PitCrew… I haven’t been to a drag event since I was a young boy. But, even at that age, I knew of the importance a christmas tree and reaction time. Does Dr Slump have a solution? No thanks, I’ll wait for your answer. ;)

7. GTHEAD87

The point to point rally is something I was gutted aboit not getting, especially to create my own. I think kaz may have gotten carried away with 24hr racing. But, seeing the quattro has made me wonder if he has improved rally tracks.

Drifting is my fav online, you woild have to be acting like a fool to be kicked. It would be good to have the points on screen online.

8. Pit Crew

Well for 1 thing infamousphil I was talking to GTHead about the drag TUNING bible to get insight on drag TUNING, as he made a reply refering to him possibly being interested in learning the technique. I didn’t send him there to get advice about how to make drag racing more realistic (Christmas Tree) in the GT series, so I don’t understand why your replying to a post that doesn’t refer to you.

9. infamousphil

No disrespect intended, PitCrew. Just putting in my 2sense. I’m aware that I can be harsh whilst trying to be short and sweet on my celluar.

10. SZRT Ice

My apologies Phil. I misread your second post as a reply to the first. Not realizing you were the OP and were simply finishing your sentence!

I agree! A Drag Tree is MOST DEFINITELY needed, as well as 2 lane, 4 lane, and possibly up to 16 lane venues! I’m more into Rally myself. Point to point’s a must (look no further then Code Master’s DiRT series for inspiration), and to give racers a fighting chance, bring the dirt trail transparency up like 80% so people in the back can see where they’re going! The old school GT tracks are welcomed as well.

11. GTHEAD87

The tuning can be quite tricky. While the topic is here, I have alway wondered why the lights never changed on any track. I thought that would be a main feature for a track

12. infamousphil

What gets me, more than the traffic lights, is the still image that is protected on the JumboTron screen(s) at le Sarthe. These things I’ve chalked up to PD’s habitual hand wave off of the obvious. Crack up and lol everytime I think about it.

8. tpark103

You can tell who is new to GT and who has been around for ever just by your comments. It’s almost obvious

9. hobanator24

Wait, do you automatically get the 15th anniversary upgrade when you pre order from Gamestop? Or is it an additional fee?

1. tpark103

When I preordered GT5 I didn’t pay any additional fees. I just payed in advance. Went in a day or two later when the title was released and picked it up along with my codes.

10. A_Higher_Place

Is that the Ford GT test car in the background again? Looks like it with the stripes on a black background roof.

1. Umbra344

I don’t see… Are you looking at the Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3 ’13? Or maybe that car in the very far back left?

2. Pit Crew

How anyone can tell thats a Ford GT Test Car from that obscured view is beyond me. I see 5 cars but the one furthest back to the left is too out of focus to be clear enough to identify.

3. A_Higher_Place

Just going off the stealth looking stripes on the roof. Could be the stealth SLS race car too!

11. p3bucky

This isn’t like a limited time thing right? They’ll continue selling these until it is actually released? It comes out in six months, I’m not sure about pre-ordering it that far ahead.

12. Yaodrift

already pre order my GT6 on gamestop , and of course supporting this web, continue bringing good news guys…..

13. Jeredin

There are so many cars to look forward too; and I’m really interested in the GT6 app. That said, while I’m happy a better Mustang has been added into GT6, I hope the BOSS 302 is added or included. The GT500 is so powerful, and that’s fine for all those who love to drag, but it’ll really be a hand-full around a twisty/lower speed track. The BOSS 302 would be perfect Mustang for GT6. Still, better to have the GT500 than no new Mustangs at all . . .

1. hobanator24

Hopefully it also means the Shelby GT350R from GT5 will be premium. I’d rather have that over a brand new Shelby

2. drag lab 101

I wouldn’t mind that but I wouldn’t say I’d rather have that.. No… No sir!
But I’ll take that along with the new GT500 & while I’m wishing on stangs ill take the new GT350 for the same purpose of the Boss 302 mentioned above. Ill take a few fox body’s to thx, for starters I’d like an 86 SVO & the 93 Cobra.

14. Radracing

I want a collectors edition pack with a die cast model keychain and guide book again. Are they going to offer such a deal?

1. gtfanforlife

I looked at the Europe pre-order specials and they get a tin case. I think that we will receive that also.

2. tpark103

Don’t get your hopes up on that metal case. Signature Addition was Europe only PD is notorious for keeping some distinction between EU and the rest of the world.

15. Neilson248

just found out that Assetto Corsa will have the Ferrari 599xx evolution… i hope that catches PD’s attention coz we need that car in the game if it isnt there already…

1. dojOdRiFTeR

don’t forget the f40lm, f50 gt, and fxx , 360cs 458 scuderia some proper track day cars
+ 2

2. Madertus

How do we ‘need’ a particular car in the game? And how another game having this car is an argument here?

I’m not trying to be an @$$ (although I know it definitely doesn’t look like that), I just don’t see how is this connected.

If we follow this mind trail, we’d end up with needing 90% of Forza’s cars ;)

16. wallpaper42

I like starting with nothing so all these pre orders will do is take some fun out of the game for me.

1. Czissou

I like the pre-order options. How high is the PP on most of these cars? It seems like you wouldn’t be able to use them for a while anyway. I’m an older gamer and have kids. I don’t really have time to play a whole lot, it will take me at least a year to go through the game. Luckily, that’s the way I like it. Some in my situation might pass on the game because they do no enjoy the slow play as much as I do. This might help pull them in if they can drive right in.

17. Rionmoon

Hmmm one MILLLLLLION credits or cooler stuff from GameStop?

Doesn’t matter, I pre-ordered from GameStop the week that GT6 was announced.

1. Halcyon925

I rather start with 20,000 Cr and with the cars from GameStop. I want to earn money so I can tune my cars at the start, and possibly have a challenge.

2. MeanElf

Winning with an untuned car within the PP range is more of a challenge, tuning is more to make other cars viable contenders if you fancied re-doing the race. I do agree about the 20,000 startup, it is something magic.

18. GRAFX21

I do not even have my SL and I am level 40 and I drive well and respect others driving besides me and I dont cut chicanes etc etc etc.

I think I have a class A license. lol

1. Halcyon925

Haha, same here. Got the game the day it came out, and I only have the Class B License; even though I’m a great driver.

2. GTHEAD87

I got all silvers and a lot of golds, I made the s licence but the annoying thing about it was I found out you dont need any of the licences to do anything

19. Bluntified

That’s way too many cars at the begining, they could be useful online or arcade mode but sucks for entry level career mode.

Anyways, I’m gonna wait to see if a Signature or Collectors edition releases, I love the box :). Still have my GT5 Collectors edition box on display on my TV stand.

1. gtrx251

I do not mind if these cars will be available in arcade mode, but not in the beginning of the career mode.

2. MeanElf

Ill just be leaving them in my garage unused (in races) until I get to the events that use these. I’m currently restarting GT5 on another account, so had 33 cars already before I began. Just doing the seasonals, stock for the most part. So far it’s been fun and it is possible to have all these killers there without using them.

1. Rionmoon

WTF NOT?

That’s not saying we’re not getting a livery editor or ability to paint them how we want.

It says your OWN SPECIALIZED paint chips

That could mean a lot of things.

Keep calm and keep driving.

2. hobanator24

Since it’s only part of the Gamestop pre order, it could be a Gamestop racing livery. Kind of like the Joey Logano Toyota Camrn NASCAR Gamestop exclusive if that is where you pre ordered your copy from.

1. TokoTurismo

You don’t need cars like that to be impressive. The cars listed are a beautiful diversity, and that’s what GT does best with their car list IMO.

2. Halcyon925

If GT6 has the Agera, than we’ll see many people on SSRX going 350+ in tuned Ageras’. It’s even insane that the car can reach 275mph on it’s own!

20. GTHEAD87

I looked up some of the cars on google images and I have to say the only one im after is the scirocco gt24. Its fwd, its a hatchback and it looks like a touring car. That’ll be the car I would like to save for when I get the game.

21. gtfanforlife

I don’t get why some of you are complaining about the cars giving people an unfair advantage. These cars are probably going to be stealth models and what not. I probably will only use most of them on special occasions or to show them off because they will probably become rare due to the amount of people that will not pre-order and the people who complain about them.

22. kolio123

I have already pre-ordered from Gamestop about 2 weeks ago! Now I understand that I get the “4 Car Pack” but, do I get the “15th Anniversary Pack”? I do not think I do but, can I go to gamestop with my reciept and ask for an upgrade and just add to my bill?(which is already paid if that matters)

1. Prodigy122

I just called Gamestop and asked them about it… They didn’t know what I was talking about and couldn’t advise me one way or the other. Let us know if you have better results.

2. hobanator24

I just went to Gamestop today after work to pre order GT6 I asked them if they had the 15th anniversary edition & it wasn’t in their system yet. I am going to go back in about a couple of weeks to see if I can upgrade.

23. DITCHLINE

The Mustang will be super sweet with specs like 1G on the skid pad & 3.5 sec to 60,12 sec quater mile its a super car in my book lets hope the exaust sounds are close to being real!!!!!!

1. Rionmoon

Dude let’s just hope PD gets their brain out of their boot and makes the Mustang something other than the boat it is now in GT5.

I’m really disappointed in PD’s handling of the Mustang. I’m disappointed in Ford as well. They let Chevy get away with an Uber version of the Camaro SS but allow PD to place a sub-par stock Mustang go into the game?

What the h*ll Ford?

2. Rionmoon

I completely missed the Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 2013 being included in GT6.

My bad.

Apparently Ford did wise up

3. GTHEAD87

Lol, I was gonna say I dont think ford are the ones that choose what cars go in the game or we woulda had the ford focus mk2 rs in gt5 instead of the st. I read about them not getting full damage because the companys didnt want to see theor cars all smashed up, but the forzas, dirts, grids, tocas infact pretty much every racing game had damage. Thays not the point tho lol, I hope they put the better models in this time. Either way its gonna be fun.

24. Rallywagon

I don’t get why people think getting some bonus cars is going to ruin this game for them? Honestly, if you play GT for the sole reason of getting 100% complete you are really missing out on something. this is a race simulator, (simulator being the important part) not an RPG. I’ve never gotten 100% in any GT, and I never will. My trophies are counted in wins agaist my fellow competitors on the track, no by achieving some silly thing like collecting 5000 cars or completing all of the season events with gold. The real fun in the game to me is league racing or the occasional open lobby race. Real competition against real people. For that, I want the most bang for my buck, which will send me to Gamestop for their pre-order offer.

1. GTHEAD87

Ive also never completed any gt game 100% but I did complete gt2 to about 97% after about 5 years of play lol

25. omgsean1

I will pre-order the 15 anniversary edition tomorrow by use my dad’s debit card because I don’t have mine.

26. con360

Just got word from Gamestop Uk, they will be stocking the 15th Anniversary Edition, but haven’t advertised it yet as they are still working on the versions:

“We will be stocking this version of the game but at the moment we do not have it advertised. We are still working on versions etc, keep posted on our social sites for more information coming in the future.”

27. GranTurismoer

I totally agree with the comments, starting a new GT with next to nothing and building up is pure GT magic. Fourtunetly we have an easy way around this – don’t pre order it.

1. iSpotCars

Or you could just pre order and not use the redeem codes, or save them for later. Thats what Im going to do, I need my GT magic.

2. GTHEAD87

It would be hard not to use them once getting them, also they will have 1 million to spend on a ferrari or whatever supercars the fancy. I just want the game, f**k bonus content.

3. Rionmoon

-1000 Only a select few special ed / OCD typs liked not being able to do anything with their game until after they completed a series of ridiculous driving tests.

I’ve been with this thing since GT1 for God sake. I’ve paid my “lets start out with nothing and take uber silly driving test and tool around in 85hp cars for HOURS upon HOURS making $1000 fake dollars at time YEA!” dues.

It’s boring and it sucks.

Nobody normal want’s to go from driving and owning Ferrari F1’s back to driving Nissan Stanzas and Miatas.

That’s NOT magic.

It’s a $59.99 box full of suck and fail.

Let the nubes go drive from scratch and figure it out. Me and the rest of us who have been with this title for 15 solid years would like to run not crawl.

4. GTHEAD87

Ive been playing it for 15 years, still got all my GT games. I think the licences in gt5 were pointless as you didnt need to do them to compete in races. I hate the licences as they are so easy. Id love to start with fast cars but its not need for speed. I stated in a previous comment that if you’ve done all the licences in gt5 then those should be transfered just like gt3 done to gt4. Again I couldnt care about the pre order bonus as I probs wont pre order the game. As long as I could buy the cars later I dont care. I never race gt3 class cars anyway so going a miss on the bonus would be grand to not fill my garage with cars I dont have time for. I couldnt even care about dlc, people complain about gt5 not having enough tracks, half the tracks never got used for offline races amd I think I played spa and motegi about 5 times each. The dlc cars were nothing special apart from the tc pack. Apart from that gt5 has still got unexplored content for me to try but again half the tracks are pretty crap to drive on. Despite all that I cant wait to sit down, buy a hatchback and work on it to be amazing.

5. gtrx251

@Rionmoon Strange logic dude. By your logic, they need to remove the career mode? :)) I also played in all parts of GT.

28. Renan_

Jordan, just asking, will the cars from the 4 car pack (Z4 GT3, GTR GT3, Tesla, C7) be available in all versions of the game too? I know Ken Chan answered that all above cars will be available, but that “4 cars pack” sounds like a different case. I’m asking because I don’t want to lose any cars of the game, but, I don’t want to pre order the game because I want to earn the cars by myself. Since I don’t have a Twitter account, I don’t know what’s going on, so, answer me, please?

1. Renan_

Thanks for the answer Jordan! BTW, just realised now it will use codes, so I mighty pre order it, then I’ll save the codes for later use, maybe after beating the game. I’ll see if I can pre order and help you guys.

29. gtrx251

20 bonus cars in the beginning of the game? What for??? SONY & PD why are you doing this? It KILLS the GAMEPLAY. How about making money and buying cars? It’s called: Official cheating or what? This is stupiD. Don’t do this!!!!

1. GTHEAD87

Exactly, 1 million credits and 20 cars?! Wtf?! Guessing these guys will complete the game in no time. They will be the ones that complain about the game being too easy or too short. I think 1 unique car that only people who pre order it can get. I do hope they use our old gt5 files to track our licences, I couldnt be bothered with another 50 tests.

2. GTP_Remo

@gthead87 the 20 cars are probably to high up the list to even use early on in the game, You talk of people complaining about the game being to easy …. and yet you want your GT5 licenses to be ported over to GT6???? So.. you want a decent portion of the game to bypassed?? Kind of contradicting to the first part of your post.

3. gtrx251

@GTHEAD87 I have nothing against re-licensing it is also part of gameplay, BUT 20 FREE bonus cars in the Beginning of the game. It is already too:(( Called: Official cheating or what?

4. GTHEAD87

Also stating that the cars may be to high on the list to use, I can us the x2010 and im only lvl 39, ive had it and drove it since I was lvl 25 so I dont thinl that will matter.

5. Pit Crew

Making something out of nothing. Getting the Stealth or Chromline cars (Pre Order Bonus/Early Access) didn’t seem to be an issue in GT5. Why is it an issue for GT6? Just don’t Pre Order.

6. GTHEAD87

It does sound like something out of nothing, but, a little kids wet dream of racing cars and 1 million credits? Seems like they want the kids to pester their parents. Good marketing I guess. Im probs gonna pre order it maybe not. Tbh I couldnt care as long as I get to play the game. I dont have much time for games these days as they are pretty much made to keep kids out of trouble. I moss the days when games had no bonuses or dlc.

7. gtrx251

I do not mind if these cars will be available in arcade mode, but not in the beginning of the career.

30. GEESRx562

YES! FINALLY, GTS 2013 NICE I KNEW MY BABY WAS GOING TO BE THERE.. I’M HAPPY CAMPER NOW (: WOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

1. GEESRx562

Preorder is this much of a tease.. who knows how gt6 going to be.. looking forward to monthly track DLC <3

31. ScotteDawg

Going through that list of cars reminded me of one in particular!

Some of you may have noticed a paint chip called ‘XPower Grey’ in GT5… This is named from the MG XPower SV, a 4.6ltr V8 FR car made by MG Rover in Modena, Italy and Longbridge, UK.

While looking the info on this car, I was then reminded of the De Tomaso Pantera!

Now, with 200 ‘new’ cars coming to GT6, the XPower paint chip in GT5 and the link between De Tomaso and MG, how could they not include these 2 cars in the 200?

32. 2012GT325

More than all the exotic super cars, I’m super excited to see the newest versions of Ford Focus ST, Mustang GT500, and SRT Viper on the list. I hope and pray that V-series and regular Cadillacs also make the list. All the Japanese cars are fine in the game, but when you include 16 different versions of the GTR, then at the very least, include one version of (a) new American car/s. Also, as others have stated, livery editor and buying paints whenever we want are needed to make our cars distinct and keep us interested.

Also, now that I know I won’t be needing to buy a PS4 on launch day, (since The Last of US, GTA V, GT6 are PS3 games), I will seriously consider upgrading the 80 GB HDD on my fat PS3 to a 256 GB SSD. Has anyone here upgraded to SSD?

1. GTHEAD87

You forgot to mention the 30 models of mx-5. Bout 15 rx-7. I dont know why they insist on doing it as all the old models of mx have the same power, weight and speed. The only difference is the wheels and roof cover.

Just saying, a lot of cars could have been used instead. Kinda annoying but not much I can do, unless kaz or anyone at PD reads this comment. I hope to f**k all those mx-5s are not in the game, really do.

2. Rallywagon

Kaz said he was going to cut down on that in this iteration. Guess we will have to wait till launch to know for sure though. He also stated why he did this. I’m sure the Japanese market appreciated it far more then the rest of us though.

1. Rallywagon

Kaz said he was going to cut down on that in this iteration. Guess we will have to wait till launch to know for sure though. He also stated why he did this. I’m sure the Japanese market appreciated it far more then the rest of us though.

33. ginsunh

While I’ll certainly be pre-ordering to get these cool cars, I kind of miss the old GT concept of starting with minimal credits and a slow car and working my way up. Starting the game with huge cash and ringer cars won’t exactly encourage proper driving skills among the newer gamers. Still, can’t really complain about the pre-order bonuses.

1. Blood*Specter

I don’t think they will kill the concept of starting out with little cash and no high performance cars. I think you will not be able to use these cars until you reach the appropriate level in the game. Pretty sure you’ll need a license that qualifies you to use advanced level cars.

Also, there is a lot we really don’t know about how this release will be set up. We do know that we all have the option to not buy the advanced package. Personally, I’ll play the game the way I always have. But I will keep the preordered models in check until I advance in the game. I will (If allowed) take them to practice mode.

I’m going to wait/chill and see how PD/Kaz explains the details of these cars and how they can or cannot be used.
Perhaps Jordan and the rest of our “admins” will look into it. I hope these pre-ordering options become available to “every” GT player if they want them. Not fair IMO for countries outside US, UK and Japan to get the short end of the stick.

2. Ittybitty Stigy

I’m pretty sure the car level is only for buying(ie, you can win and drive the x1 before you are level 40 but you cannot buy one until you are level 40)

1. ScotteDawg

At the moment – NOTHING!!!

I rang EB Games in my local area (EB’s parent company is Gamestop) and was told that they have not yet been informed of any pre-order deals with GT6.

I then tried to ring Sony in Sydney but was put on hold for about half an hour! Not good from Adelaide!!!

However, being put on hold probably means that every man and his dog was calling them, so I guess they got the message that we Australians aren’t happy with being left out of pre-order bonuses…

34. gapanja

Please,PD let us choose units measurements by ourselves. What’s a problem here, I don’t understand.Make it just as it was in GT4 or in GT5 Prologue.

1. research

ha. The most glaring problems are:

1. You get this little paint-tray thing changing colors as a preview of what your car will look like- and it rarely turns out that way. The preview is awful- which wouldn’t matter so much if it weren’t for point #2..
2. They are one-time use! What!? Ridiculous. These things should be available forever once aquired, and whatever sort of reasoning that resulted in this is all too prevelant at PD Studios.
3. They are sorted on the most abject level, stacked up in a single vertical list about 3 miles high. Even finding the HUE that you prefer, such as all blues or all yellows, is a massive time-melting chore.

I really hope they’ve fixed these glaring issues in some way. It’s not like there’s a big programming fix needed, just simple decision-making (deja vu). The chips themselves are not really a problem at all..

2. MeanElf

If by unit measurements, you can already specify Km or Miles in GT5 options…

‘Abject’ Are you sure that’s the right word you wanted? You might be abject as a result of how you see the paint system, but the list can hardly be abject. Was it abstract maybe?

Agreed that keeping all examples of the same chip in one place would have been better, but the re-vamp of the game software is likely to correct that as they seem to have corrected a few issues.

3. research

I accidentally put that reply in the wrong place- it’s meant for Alleks question just below here about paint. And yes, ‘abject’ is the correct term to describe how PD sorted these paint chips. It means “base level” or “the lowest form” – basically saying it’s the absolute crappiest way that they could’ve done it, lol. Even some simple folders like “Blues” or “Yellows” would cut down on the day-wasting search that is PD’s paint selection.

4. Rallywagon

I agree with research, and extend this to cars as well. when you have nearly 1000 cars, it would be nice to have more “folder” options then just favorites, and then the few choices that PD gives you. It would be nice to be able to create folders to place cars into that you can catagorize and fill yourself. Same with paints. I don’t really hate the paint chip set up, but a preview on car, not on a model andbeing able to better organize your items and paint chips would be nice.

5. GTHEAD87

Thats a very good idea about folders. Trying to find a car online is so hard. I ruined it by getting 1000 cars and now dont know what to drive :/ gt6 is a fresh for me.

1. Allek

@research: Ah, now I get it. You mean browsing through all those colors is a pain… Ok, I agree with you – that should be improved.

But getting car colors for free and being able to use them more than once is a bit “needforspeedy” to me. In real life, when you want a paint job on your car, you don’t get a preview or a chance to change colors without paying for it. And sometimes the final color doesn’t match exactly the one you picked from a catalog. I guess it’s just more realistic this way. But I don’t think this is essential to the game and if they changed it I wouldn’t mind at all.

35. JaySamurai

Please PD/Kaz, paint chips isn’t the one. seriously please don’t do this to us. You want me to go on my knee’s!! fine i’m begging you, please find a new and innovative way for us to personalize our car’s.

Now all he has to do is see this comment among a few other’s. Here’s to wishful thinking!!

1. Tenacious D

While I agree wholeheartedly with HKS Racer, we really do need a paint shop with its own… you know, PAINT!! :P

36. hairystig

Paint chips again PD really? you better have come up with a much better way of disturbing them in game than was in gt5, like I dunno a paint shop!!???

1. hairystig

Yeah like a paint shop that gave away a free car every time you bought a different colour paint!

2. e30 freek

How does a paint shop preview a paint to its customer?… Spray it on the back of their hand like its a perfume.-.- No they give them a material, normaly aluminium with the desired paint on it which is a paint chip

37. Mubble

Annoyingly this means PD have suck to the crappy paint chips system in GT6. Which also sounds like no livery editor (which would use a HEX palette system).

:-(

38. Hentis

As a proud owner of the Signature edition and some damn fine looking Stealth and Chromeline cars I am looking forward to this pre order. However its with some trepidation. Both GT6 and PS4 Will (should) be released in November this year…. Yes I am putting money away for the PS4 and possibly one / two games but I neeed money for GT6 as well. Heres hoping the PS4’s release date for the EU slips to March next year…. I would be happy about that…. But I cant see it happeneing :( Oh well.

As per the cars. Well if you want them you have to pay for them if you dont want to pay for the privilage of getting them then please stop bitching…

The car I most want to see in GT6 that wont make it Ferrari TestaRosa

1. Efiv12

This is my issue, is there a new “signature edition”, will the North American region be able purchase it?

39. Boosted_01_R

cars look like a good start….. So many great cars in the 24hrs of LeMans this past weekend….. GET INSPIRED POLYPHONY !!!!!!

40. Stephanos82

Fantastic offers, I’d be more than happy to support GTPLANET ! I truly believe that this website plays a huge role in how the game is evolved through the years!
タイヤの空気圧 please!!!!

41. 05XR8

i knew the Scirocco had to make it into the game with all the other race VW in the series.
I just wonder what livery(paint chip) will be on that SLS GT3. I hope that PETRONAS AMG silver/fluro-green but, im thinking the same scheme as the Ford Gt Test Car II.

1. sangdude82

Yeah, I would love to have that Petronas AMG livery as well but it’s probably the Black Falcon livery.

42. Longa23

Common Guys…. in the past there were different Editions of GT5
And for us in Europe there will be a Spezial Edition too :)
So only Seven days and the Demo comes out. Can’t wait for Testing the New Gameplay…!!!

43. teppischfresser

Having access to all those cars makes me kinda sad because I think it’s more fun to earn them. Same for the 1M credits. I think just having more choice of upgrades would be better or stealth models.

1. SkierPS3

I think I’m going to preorder to get the codes, but hold on to them. That way I get the fun of working my way up while having those in reserve once I want to use them.

2. SZRT Ice

You’ll still have 180+ more cars to “earn”, and don’t forget about the event restrictions. You likely won’t even be able to use a majority of these said vehicles until events later in the game. I can almost guarantee that PD/Kaz placed a much grander effort on fleshing out the career mode of GT6…

44. DamnPisces

So glad I pre-ordered at GameStop when they first officially announced pre-order availability. But what I really hope is that certain cars (especially prototype cars) can only be awarded as prize cars for more difficult races. Also, I can’t wait to see the list of Race Mod and Touring Class cars that will be in GT6. (hopefully not just the same cars that were in GT5)

Finally, I’m really excited for those of you associated with GTPEDIA. You guys are going to have a little bit of work cut out for you when this game launches. Keep up the good work!

45. drag lab 101

Holiday 2013….. I shall call you my wallets Great Depression!
I can’t wait to go broke after summer!
So very interested in custom paint chips… So very very happy to see the 2013 Shelby GT500 making its appearance in GT6.

46. infamousphil

I was getting ready to start ranting about abbreviated GT and the 20 cars suggested being only available in pre-order sales.

Phew! Ok, cool head prevailed. SO, … with pre-order you get free in-game credits, cars with special livery and uniforms and helmets. I can do without that stuff. I’m not complaining. Must beware the HYPE.

NOW, … when they start talking about CARS, … I don’t wanna miss out on another race version of McLaren’s F1 or race version of SRT’s Viper. Those two cars plus the missing GT0s and GT1s from GT2 and some racing Ferrari, like F40LM, 550GTS, F50GT1, 599GTO and 333SP… you get the picture, will be reason enough for me to run out the door, right this instant.

1. infamousphil

I am ‘trolling’ for those who would like to see these cars in the game, same as myself. Anyone?

47. Spazzalman

It would be much appreciated if someone could let me know if I can pre-order GT6 now on amazon from Australia, thanks :)

48. masterrawad

The new Viper and the Shelby GT500… I’m not happy because it’s in game, I’m happy because half the people who have been begging for them will finally shut up.

1. infamousphil

GT formatted a little different. I would suspect it, bonus content, would auto load into your garage. But what do I know?

49. AAR_CobraJet

Man, people…let’s enjoy what we’ve got to look forward to here. I’m seriously pleased with the variety of cars being offered with this preorder deal! As a matter of fact, it’s an excellent variety. So far, the building excitement for GT6 has got my hopes up for an epic release.

1. oneloops

I agree. I hope GT3 class will be very wel exploited en GT5 with not only a 3 or 5 races championship but with some championships with more races with qualyfing laps, 2 or 3 tyre changes, a hard challenging AI, etc. Something like a GT3 season or a GT3 career…

The same i wish for GT500, GT300, Nascar, Rally, F1, etc. I’ve played GT5 rallt special event yesterday and i miss a better competition, CREDIBLE competitions and races…

I think there is all we need but it lacks a better career/s mode/s for GT6

2. oneloops

* rally

It was not good to wait the start of the other 3 cars, not a good sensation for dirt and snow surfaces and too easy to win, no challenging.

I wish GT6 won’t be about overtake 15 cars in 2 laps to win (like GT5 is), but to battle with 15 cars to win. To battle for every single position.

50. hobanator24

I was so exited about the Viper making it into GT6 that I completely missed the fact that the Europa is going to be premium! My second favorite european classic in GT5 (behind the MK1 GTI) will finally be represented properly! Let’s hope the GTI gets the same treatment

51. SZRT Ice

TGs? Or Gemescom? Which is 1st? And when are the dates?
(Just asking/making convo. Yes I know how to use Google)

52. Antonioserna12

i already pre-ordered gt6 but will it cost around $60 dollars because that’s what im thinking it will cost. right?

53. Sixflags48

I think this will be outdone by a Japanese pre-order release, but great to see they are bringing something great to us, I hope Canada can get in on this!

54. oneloops

The BEST way to increase pre-orders is to allow play a GT6 DEMO before, so if PD does that they will have millions of pre-orders ! :)

1. oneloops

It will be magnificent if it will a demo with Pikes Peak and the Sebastian Loeb’s 208 T16 car. Even if it’s a minigame with some cars… we will pay for that.

2. oneloops

Yes i know :p but the E3 DEMO is a much bigger demo with 20 cars (not only Nissans) and 4 or 5 tracks…

3. SZRT Ice

True. To be honest, I wish GTAcademy expanded outside of Nissans. It’s taking over Gran Turismo. It may soon be called Nissan Turismo. J/k, but diversity keeps things interesting. It’s good to mix it up.

Kaz should have a raffle and there should be a new ________ GT Academy each year.
Mercedes GT Academy
Ferrari GT Academy
Lamborghini GT Academy
etc.

I said it 1st…

4. con360

@SZRT
Well, at this rate, we might be looking at a Toyota GT Academy considering how much work PD has done with Toyota on the GT86.

5. biftizmo

@srzt Ice..no you din’t i was saying this only 2 articals ago..and a long time before that a few times…infact

6. DamnPisces

I hate to burst your bubble SZRT Ice, but Nissan sponsors GT Academy. That means that they shell out a lot of money so that people like you and me can compete for an exclusive opportunity to become a REAL racing driver. In exchange for all that money, they have their cars used as the test models for GT Academy. And when whoever goes to Silverstone arrives, they will be competing mostly in Nissan cars. I’m sure that if Toyota, Ford, Dodge and other companies who compete in GT3 class wanted to sponsor an academy of their own, they would shell out the money and get their own GT academy swathed in all of that respective motor companies’ automotive goodness. As a result, that company would probably see an increased presence in GT as a whole. But unless you want GT academy and other such good opportunities for people to have a real chance at a racing career, I suggest you don’t complain about Nissan’s generous contributions to the Gran Turismo series.

7. SZRT Ice

“But unless you want GT academy and other such good opportunities for people to have a real chance at a racing career, I suggest you don’t complain about Nissan’s generous contributions to the Gran Turismo series.”

Whoa there bud… WHAT I WAS ASKING FOR is actually some MORE OPPORTUNITIES for people to become real world racers. GTAcademy automatically makes you “Team Nissan”. However, Gran Turismo has been a sim that caters to all levels of motorsport since it’s initial introduction on PS1.

I was suggesting something that could add to the GT culture, NOT TAKE AWAY FROM IT. Other GT Academies could even run simultaneously! It wouldn’t necessarily have to equal a replacement! No need to look for the negative in a statement that was meant to be entirely positive man.

8. biftizmo

The Nissan web site. not the UK though….offers the academy as a official race recruitment program for Nissan….its not hard to imagine other manufacturers wanting in on this kind of thing. especial as the latest model Reconstruction goes.. who knows in the future big deals will need to be made..considering the ready made audience there is and the product placement campaign package is the best all round add format for any car manufacturer.. its a new and ultimate way to sell cars get with it…bubble burst’ers….

9. SZRT Ice

Thank you bift’!!! YOU GET IT!!! It could even branch out to Drift/D1 Academy, Drag Racing Academy, or even a WRC Academy.

55. turismoslayer

Wonder if the “special visual & performance enhancements” will be of any benefit. Or if they will be obtainable through progress in the game as with the cars.

56. GRAFX21

Hold on…in GT5 you couldn’t purchase anything higher then your actual current level.

So how is having these cars from the start something you can drive? Unless they took that feature off. (Which really wasnt a feature). More like restriction.

I cry BS.

Can someone advise?

1. ZoidFile

That you can’t buy it doesn’t mean that you can’t drive it.
If you are at lvl 12 and someone sends you a lvl 40 car, you can use it just fine.

Maybe you get a bonus code and once activated you get tickets for the particular cars?

2. Pit Crew

GT5 had Special Pre-Order editions too, that gave early access to Special colored lightly tuned cars, that had Purchasable/unlockable version in the Game. This 1 is pretty much the samething. If you don’t pre-order it you’re only really missing out on the 1,000,000 credits from Amazon, or special paint chips, race suits, & avatar from Gamestop.

3. Wanderlust2000

Good, the whole level thing was meaningless BS anyway. Some of the best racers I know barely cleared Lv 30, while lots of Lv 40s drive like noobs.. of course the vice-versa was also true too, thus highlighting the meaninglessness of the level system. I would however like to see Licenses mean something again!

4. SZRT Ice

@ Wanderlust2000:

“I would however like to see Licenses mean something again!”

Noob-proofing in a nutshell…

5. infamousphil

Lol… I just heard a bunch of folks choke on the idea of “license” requirements. I blew through the licensing phase before realizing that it wasn’t necessary in 5.

57. FiftyBelowZero

I won’t pre-order. Having these cars from the start is like cheating. But I wish I could. It seems this is like that golden SRT Viper in FH.

1. tpark103

You’ll be disappointed that you didn’t seeing your friends with cars that you’ll never be able to have. Just like the signature addition cars, chrome line cars, and the edge Camero. You have to get these while you have a chance.

1. Leungy

They didn’t give the chromeline and stealh cars out for free in GT5 after initial release, so who says they will with these cars?

2. ScotteDawg

No-one in Australia had an Edge Camaro! Nor did we have the Gamestop NASCAR!

THESE REGIONAL PREFERANCES MUST STOP!!!

58. Foxiol

Came here to the news again and: “UPDATE: To clear up any confusion, Ken Chan from SCEA has confirmed in multiple comments on the U.S. PlayStation Blog that all of the above cars will be available in all versions of the game. Pre-ordering simply gives you access to all of these cars from the start and makes their “special visual & performance enhancements” available to you.”

“Fiushhhhhhhh”…now we are talking…I rather play to get the cars that are already in the game (one of the points to play it more) than getting them by doing nothing.

Good news indeed.

59. FireEmblem10

Preordering from GameStop as soon as I go out.

Will be the first pre-order of mine since… Super Mario Galaxy? Heck, it’s been a while.

1. Antonioserna12

I think its the 1 the raced the 24hrs of nürburgring if gazoo team. Its the team that has the lfa

60. biftizmo

the hackers though they were doing something special to the cars..but the hacker option is available to everyone who wants it to be honest..so not so special really…now a combination of custom chips..parts paints livery… theirs more chance of being unique …
this is what i admire about Sony and pd..the ability to see the “system” rather than the jelly beans it makes…

61. biftizmo

Paint chips are good….the way they work, they are collectible and trade’able…and give some sort of individuality to your car….expand on this more….livery chips!…..must work in the same vein….firstly this will allow promotional chips…i.e branded..as in Academy, or currant manufacture promotion.
The new corvette stingray comes to mind here…it has paint chip, custom paint chip, (camouflage) also a cover chip that could be translated to custom livery chip….again collectible and trade’able…..lets not stop there…usable trade’able parts with different parameters..i.e suspension ,or even oil….why not have different oil grades….tiers with individual manufacture specifications….all this data is available within the different industry’s its about partner ships….so chips could be an important little feature…and when you see your car on photo-stream you will know its your car for sure…with more options comes more individuality. some cars in the real world are truly i unique ..as for personalized livery chips…..with to much of a chance some one just righting (boll*ox) on the side… it wouldn’t be conducive to a real world DRIVING simulator..

I will collect The Nissan R premium +++ version.. and collect currant suspention model parts chip…o and i just happen to be the only person with my you tube livery chip prize still unused at the same time… ..you will all want to trade with me..and you can keep your few hundred stealth models…i got the only one like this… hypothetically of course….lol

1. MichoRexo

A custom livery editor would be much more simpler and wanted. Although I see where you are going with this, exclusivity won’t really sell it. Honestly, it would just make me a bit frustrated.

2. biftizmo

Exclusiveness is for a few and costs money..uniqueness is for only you and every one else at the same time, and its free….its gotta be better. there is potentially going to be so much content for this game that its going to be impossible to avoid..the visual variations alone are apparent if you watch photo stream at present, no 2 photos are alike..

3. SZRT Ice

What he said. Paint chips are WACK. I’d rather create my own colors. Then I can be rest assured VERY FEW ELSE WOULD HAVE THEM. The ability to create 2 tone, carbon, metallic, matte, chrome. and gloss paints of your own desire will always take precedence over preset paints no matter how many there are. They will NEVER MATCH what can be created with a CUSTOM palette.

And manufacture paints can be selected the same way you search for cars…
Country>Dealer?Model>Paints Available For Make

SIMPLE.

4. biftizmo

@szrt Ice who to say that “Custom Paints”.is not the very thing your on about.

i like the idea you can mix your own paint color chips.. i guess you would also need to know the right mix ratios as well, to get the specific look required…as is with the real world..and a sort menu option will surly be improved..as all other sorting menu’s have been with the looks of it..

5. ScotteDawg

Paint Chips – GOOD
Full Spectrum Palette – BETTER
Carbon/Body Colour Hood – GOOD
Ability to Paint Hood & Trunk Lids Any Colour – BETTER
Gifting Stuff – GOOD
Selling/Trading Stuff – BETTER
Putting Race Numbers on Race Modified Cars – GOOD
Putting Race Numbers on ALL Cars – BETTER
Changing Race Numbers on Some Cars – GOOD
Changing Race Numbers on ALL Cars – BETTER
Having a Bad Head Cold – NOT GOOD
Brain Not Working 100% – WISH I WAS BETTER

62. eggsnbaconbits

I have been hoping they would add a mustang gt500 sence I got gt5 so all this means is I need to get gt6 now.

63. rex1825

…well this is not fair, if those cars are pre-order only (and I don’t see why they wouldn’t be since PD decided so already), we who live in countries that cannot pre-order from Amazon.com, and especially from GameStop are like… huh… this isn’t right, at least give us opportunity to buy it as DLC…

So what is with all these cars:
BMW Z4 GT3 2011
Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3 2013
Chevrolet Corvette Stingray (C7) 2014
Tesla Motors Model S Signature Performance 2013
Alfa Romeo TZ3 Stradale 2011
Alpine A110 1600S 1968
Aston Martin V12 Vantage 2010
Audi R8 LMS ultra 2012
Ford Focus ST 2013
Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 2013
Honda HSV-010 (SUPER GT) 2011
KTM X-BOW R
Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 2011
Lexus IS F Racing Concept 2008
Lotus Europa (type54) 1968
Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3 2011
Renault Sport Megane Trophy V6 2011
SRT Viper GTS 2013
TRD 86 Racing 2008
Volkswagen Scirocco GT24 Race Car 2008

…we ain’t gonna see them cause we cannot pre-order on GameSpot?!?!?!?!?

1. con360

No, no, no… they are special edition versions of them cars, like the Chrome Line and Stealth cars, so they will be in game, but only the normal versions.

2. SZRT Ice

You won’t have to do anything to earn them. They will be unlocked immediately.
And it’s GameStop bro’… GameSpot is a gaming website.

3. Feldynn

It was confirmed on the US Playstation Blog by Ken Chan that those cars are in the regular game for everyone and that the preorder ones are simply “Anniversary Edition” versions of them, as con360 said they’re simply like the Chrome Line / Stealth cars were in GT5.

So it’s all good :).

64. GTboyz

Dat gt500 and focus ST…. Also the viper gts , man these excites me, knowing those cars confirmed for gt6, didnt care much about the anniversary edition

65. TheGTGuy

Paint chip being back doesn’t mean no livery editor. Think of painting your car in GT5 and then once you’ve chosen the car colour u can slap stickers on it.

66. TheEnd35000vr

Scirocco GT24?

Okay. That is too much teasing. That car I admire like hell, surprised for its inclusion, but oh my God. I cannot comprehend this list.

Must preorder.

1. SZRT Ice

And the Veneno, La Ferrari, Apollo, Agera, CCXR, Murcielago, RGT, New Ruf RGT, RT12, New Ruf CTR2, Diablo SV/GT, Ferrari F50, Ascari A10, Vector M12, Ford GT90, Ausi RS5, RS4, SL65 AMG Black Series, and about 50 GTR more Skyline/GTR variations… Just to name a few.

J/k.

67. pmartins18

yeahhhhh….

PD put Pagani Huayra, Ferrai FF, Ferrari F12, Lamb Diablo, Lamb Aventador, Lamb Sesto Elemento, BMW M6, and other good cars in game plase

1. SZRT Ice

I think you mean Reventon, as the Aventador is already listed, and has been availeble since the 2nd car pack DLC for GT5.

68. Nomadpt1

srt viper and the gt500 are pretty awesome
I still can’t believe I’m going to race the c7 (tuned if possible) vs 2013 viper

1. TheGTGuy

No. There available to everyone but if u preorder u get them straight away rather then buying the game, building credits and then buying the upgrades.

2. StaticVariable

Which makes me wonder exactly how much customization is available for each car. This is something I wanted more of in GT5 – the ability to race modify premium cars.

69. micantony

+ Ken Chan on June 24th, 2013 at 9:49 am said:

“…We will have detailed visuals of the custom livery within the pre-order line-up of cars very soon”

70. blackstallion32

Finally the Shelby gt500! After driving one in real life I wanted it to be I’m gran turismo so bad. Only a wish but maybe the Shelby 1000? Or the gt500 super snake that would be great.

71. mcfizzle

Ordered through the GTPlanet link. I wonder when they will announce a collector’s edition though? Maybe GamesCom?

72. marktyper

1 MORE WEEK PEOPLE BEFORE THE GT6 DEMO :D Yes I know only Nissan Cars hahaha but it’s okayyyyy :D

73. marktyper

I’m always into JDM but I’m happy that the Trio will finally be complete GT500, Camaro, and Challenger! :D I hope there will be new RUF’s if not, Porsches! Come on Kaz, make the Bmw M3 E46, Supra Rz, All 240 SX, 240 Z and many more to mention Premium please :)

74. Toyota2jz

Out of all of these cars, I am more excited about the Ford Focus ST 2013. Can’t wait to see how it drives. Please, we need more of these hot hatches!

75. sangdude82

Finally, I get to drive 2013 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 & 2013 SRT Viper GTS!!! People will be able to do a new-gen American muscle car battle with Shelby GT500, Viper GTS & Corvette Stingray :D

76. SZRT Ice

We’re off to a decent start with the vehicles and these visual “enhancements” have peaked my interest. Though the return of paint chips is bittersweet, I’m curious as to them being “my own cistomized paint chips”? Are they pre-customized? Or are they “CUSTOMIZABLE”? And if so…, to what degree? Ugh… Every detail just brings more questions. However, it’s looking good so far…

77. Blood*Specter

I used GameStop for pre order of the game and PS4. I’ve never gotten any pre order for any game. I always played the game and got the prizes as I went along.

Well BF3/4 changed that for me. As well as seeing some of the stealth cars and special features that came by way of special ordering GT5.

So this time and with the release on the PS4 I’m going for it. LOL

78. acedition333

Like the cars…. Can’t wait for it to come out! I do hope we can change the color/number on the Z4. (like the RM/TC cars)

79. pasigiri

“Pre-ordering simply gives you access to all of these cars from the start and makes their “special visual & performance enhancements” available to you.”

Interesting…. What does available to you mean?

1. RACECAR

I’m assuming it means that anyone who pre-orders it gets it first, kinda like a timed exclusive.

1. Akizuki09

“Don’t worry, we didn’t forget our core fans that enjoy unlocking cars + upgrades. The 15th Anniversary is meant for a celebration with the fans, giving you unique GT designed vehicles to race online. It doesn’t effect your single player experience at all since racing license are still required, and most of the cars exceed the entry level races” – Ken Chan

There are still restrictions in using the cars depending on the race. So no you cannot use the SLS AMG GT3 in the Clubman Cup. Also seems like you will need certain licenses to use these cars, though it doesn’t mention if levels will be required in order to drive them.

80. Blood*Specter

Using the BMW Z4 GT3 as an example, I hope my Z4 GT3 can have a different number and paint job (Other Than the Light Blue, Dark Blue and Red BMW “M Sport” Colors) than just white.

If different liveries for each racing car come as paint chips that is fine by me.

I think the paint chips and musem cards saturate your disk drive and eventually slow your access time to a crawl.
So I hate both. But I can edit that stuff by way of deletion……..I think……….????????????

81. Phoenix

Why can’t they go back to where you actually had to play the game to unlock things?

Now you get 20 free cars just by pre-ordering?!?! 1 mill credits in-game?!?!

Well, I am getting the game anyway, but starting from scratch with nothing is always more fun. :)

82. Eks

We’ll these cars still at least be availble in the dealerships even if we don’t preorder the game? Please don’t tell me no..

83. HuskyGT

Thank the gods. I was about to rant that this wouldn’t be available in all versions but then I read the rest. Anyway, I’ll see if I can pre-order this.

On a side note. The SRT Viper is confirmed then!!! And the Aventador is now in-game. Thanks PD.

On another note, paint chips seem to be back then. Oh well, the paint chip system kinda sucks, but it’s not at all terrible.

1. TomBrady

I kind of like the paint chip system and I’d rather have just the paint chip system than just a color wheel.

A lot of the time, I want to paint a car in one of the actual manufacturer paint jobs, and with a color wheel, it’s not easy to get it right. With the paint chips, it’s about as accurate as possible.

I’d like to see paint chips and a color wheel however. Plus I want to be able to paint more than just the body color.

2. TokoTurismo

I’ve actually gotten used to the paint chips thanks to the standard cars, but will be nice when you earn one, you get to keep it forever or even purchase one through some paint thingy for 50cr (if there were one). xD

But I’m super happy the SRT Viper, Ford Focus ST ’13 and the rest of the new cars are coming in GT6. :)

1. TheAdmiester

If you’d rather earn your cars, don’t preorder at all. All of the cars mentioned are earnable normally, but the preorders give you instant access. If you want the most cars, go with GameStop obviously.

2. micantony

If you’d rather earn your cars, save your pre-order code and give it to someone (or sell it if you’re inclined that way).

84. Wiki

I’m surely going to pre-order GT6 but i’ll wait a little bit more just to see if it’s coming out on PS4. Although i wouldn’t mind having to play it only on PS3.

1. Wiki

Probably, but if there are no announcements regarding the “GT6 on PS4” thing within, let’s say, the next 5 months, i’ll pre-order it for PS3, anyway, i think we’ll see more details before that time.

1. TheeFrogmanlego

PD to note from people saying forza looks better due to the over done reflections..
iv been to countless conventions and forza’s cars look like they had some super shine paint on..
gt5’s got it almost right, ALMOST

85. davelis

Are we getting all these cars in the standard GT6 as well?
I dont care about having them early in the game.

1. Wiki

Yes, the only difference if you pre-order the game is that you’ll have them from the start and will be able to use their special visual and performance enhancements.

86. MOV Games

Really? I’m sure that 1 million and all those cars basically ruin all the fun of the game. God I hate pre order crap.

Its nice that we have all these cars in the game anyway, but if they don’t have any upgrades unless you pre order, its a hell of a let down.

87. saturn01

Paint chips? What do you mean paint chips? This better not be the same as GT5. The whole paint chips thing is extremely annoying. As though you’d have millions of dollars to spend on upgrades but not left to custom paint your car. Limit the number of colors if you must, but not the availablity. I know this is trivial, but why PD?

1. TomBrady

Paint chips are good. how else can you replicate authentic manufacturer paint jobs?

But they should add a color wheel too

88. con360

Just incase you lot were wondering, paint chips are back: “the Gamestop-Exclusive 15th Anniversary Edition includes 16 additional cars as well as your own customized paint chips, race suit, helmet, PSN Avatar, and a copy of Beyond the Apex II app.”

Great…

1. con360

Well, hopefully these will just be some special colours like chromes, but every other colour we can make at free will (yeah right!) like gloss and metallic.

89. A_Higher_Place

What visual differences are we talking about? Stealth options or chrome line options for the cars? I need to know before ordering..

1. sangdude82

Yeah, I’m waiting for that as well. Hopefully they will release the info regarding the collectors edition soon.

90. ExplodeTheApex

I tell you what. If they put the Viper GTS-R in as well I am going to have a seriously good Christmas, even better than it’s already looking!

91. JackC8

Already pre-ordered it from Amazon but I hate the extra million at the start of the game. I can buy a car that makes the first 50 races into a complete joke. I guess I’ll have to exercise some self-control and pretend I don’t have that extra money.

1. JohnScoonsBeard

If you don’t want the million pound bonus don’t buy from Amazon. According to the US PS BLOG Most of the bonus cars are in too high a class to qualify for beginner races and if you still want the challenge don’t use the bonus cars in a-spec/career mode. You can just bring them out online.

Hopefully the 20 bonus car liveries will be exactly the same and available in all markets (i’m UK based)

The appearance of paint chips and these unique liveries is worrying as it sounds suspiciously like there won’t be a livery editor which if true would be a big disappointment to me.

Still, I’m looking forward to the game, particularly the revised track creation options. I hope there is a big improvement on GT5 with regard to that. The GPS option could be great if we can also play scenery items in the same way as Mod Nation Racers which is THE slickest and best designed track creator I have ever seen.

92. RobDoggy05

2013 Focus ST!!!
2013 Shelby GT500!!!
2013 SRT Viper!!!
2008 TRD 86!!!
2008 Scirocco GT24!!!

I’m having a crisis!!!!!!

93. OmniusGT

I was going to say! (following on from the update)

The way GT6 has been previewed, it looked to me that these cars were in the game as standard, this post made them suddenly look like ‘DLC’

I’m pleased it’s been cleared up, so effectively pre ordering gives you the visual and performance upgrades for these cars from the off

94. wdreamsmaycome

has there been any word about GT6 being available as a download on PSN as well besides on a physical disk?

95. crcn11

I bought a special edition of GT5 which came with the Chrome Line cars, and actually I didn’t enjoy having access to the cars. Knowing that I had a Lambo and things capable of winning races without even trying… so from now on, no special editions for me ): I’ll happily start at the bottom.

1. Hentis

Beyond the Apex 2 app I beleive is the digital copy of the Beyond the Apex handbook that was supplied with the Signature edition back in 2010. This is the same kind of thing that was released in Japan during the 15th Aniversary celebration.

2. Hentis

“Apex II, a brand new updated version of the Apex game guide”

from the EU Blog. Its an updated version of what I said above.

96. TokoTurismo

GRRR I have to pre-order this!! I want that edition but HOLY the SRT Viper is in the game. YES!! :D

97. Snorevette

From what I can see, the Gamestop bonus lets you start with the cars rather than buying them – I think the exclusivity of the bonus is to do with the other items. PD aren’t a perfect company, but they’re not EA.

98. Ittybitty Stigy

So if I already Pre-ordered the regular GT6 will it automatically upgrade the the 15th anaversary edition or do I have to cancel my Pre-order and then Pre-order the 15th one?

99. Ferrari458Italia

I refuse to buy anything from Gamestop. but so far Gamestop has the best pre-order… really hope the collectors edition/15th anniversary edition will include the Gamestop pre-orders as well

100. Jump_Ace

Pre-Ordered @ GS! I wonder what exculsives Best Buy will have?

This order comes with the Apex II app, I wonder if there is a PDF of the book to DL too?

Jerome

101. MadmuppGT

Youre own customised paint chip? I dont like the way the words Paint and Chip have been mentioned on GT6

102. Foxiol

So…if I get any other Gran Turismo 6 version…without the “pre-order” thing…will those cars be in the game for me to get by actually playing the game? Or just as DLC? Because if it is only by this way…I´ll get really mad…

1. karelpipa

After some consideration i think that these 4 cars will just be in your garage for “free” (you dont have to win them in events).

So no interest, i would rather win them in game (if AI gets better :) )

2. heinz57

It said they would each have their own unique upgrades, so I’m guessing these are just the regular ones that are available in-game, but with performance modifications to them.

3. ScotteDawg

DLC is not destroying the game! It’s the REGIONAL DLC that is destroying the game!!

I live in Australia and we couldn’t get the stealth cars without an English account! Nor could we get the Edge Camaro – AT ALL!!!

It’s bad enough we get charged $3 more for DLC than anywhere else in the world, so why do we have to miss out on other stuff as well? :(

STOP SCREWING AUSTRALIA AROUND PD, MAKE EVERYTHING AVAILABLE WORLDWIDE AND FOR THE SAME PRICE!!

4. Doober

I wouldn’t get too mad yet. We don’t know how our gt5 garages are going to be affected. Since gt6 and gt5 are on the same console.

103. Doober

I will be pre ordering asap. Literally woke up this morning and wondering why there hasn’t been a pre order bonus yet.

104. Oyashiro-sama

As a collector who likes to collect everything in a game, I have to say that I really hate this kind of things. “Pre-order here, get this” and “pre-order there, get that”, “USA gets this, Europe gets that”, come on. I just want to buy the game at the release day and be able to collect everything. Is it that difficult? I’m so p*ss off with this and the DLCs policies that I really might just not buy GT6 (or any other game as it is). I miss the old days.

1. emanuelmelo

Me too. And the game is going to cost us a small fortune, so there is no budget to pay for the shipping cost of buyint it from those retaillers. Shame on you PD, shame on you!

105. Flagmo-T

I love when PD actually are doing what others are doing . ones again GRID2 also promised a car/Track pack for the pre ordered copy – I won’t spend one single daim, before it’s released and reviewed properly :O)

Thanks But No thanks Pd.. My money stays in the pocket as long as they can :P

106. pmartins18

wow nice cars….but if i dont buy this edition…the cars came in the normal game ( no edition) ??

1. MadmuppGT

I was thinking that, if all those games are going to be coming as DLC I wont be happy, especially if theyre ready to go on release. I dont like being made to feel like a mug

2. NeuroticVows

from what it looks like the cars you get from the pre-orders are cars that are in the game but have unique attributes.

3. StiggyGT

I worry for the same reason as you, my friend. The whole point of GT is to realistically drive cars that you wouldn’t get to in real life. Really, you do expect the game to come with the majority of different and unusual cars. I hope they come to us soon without the mandatory DLC. This sounds cheeky.

107. SVT Cobra GT

To quote Mr. Mercury “I want it all and I want it now”

I hope there’s something for us European players!

1. MadmuppGT

I’m hoping it just give them the cars instead of working to buy them in game. If it means theyre getting early DLC then I’m not going to be a happy customer

108. Cosbuster

So, does the 4-pack means these cars will only be available as a pre-order bonus? It’d be pretty low since they’ve been teasing us with them until now.

1. sind3ntosca

Ouch… i take it back my speechless..LOL :p …i thought it would be released soon… but it’s end of the year LOL. I’ll just buy the full version then :p
