GT Sport Daily Races: Suzuka, Spa, and Super Formula

This week’s GT Sport Daily Races will see you take a grand tour of some of the game’s real-world circuits — and some of those added to the game since launch.

Race A puts you in a car from the most recent content update. The E46-generation BMW M3 Coupe came in November’s v1.50 update, and you’ll get a chance to drive one provided by the game to help you decide whether or not to spend any money on it. Unusually you’ll be driving it on Suzuka’s East short course, more often the home for lower-powered machinery, for a five-lap sprint race.

One of the most-eagerly anticipated additional circuits is the venue for Race B. Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps finally hit our PS4s this Fall, after what felt like an awful ten weeks after its World Tour debut, and it shows up in the Daily Races for this week’s rotation. This week it plays host to the Gr.4 race car — a car largely based on a street car, with a few modifications to make it race-safe — of your choice. Although our featured image shows a wet track, this race will be in the dry.

The last circuit on our real circuit tour is Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. Introduced last year, this track will host a Super Formula race for the week. There’s a few key pieces of information to be aware of here. You can only use the Honda version of the SF19, and it’s a grid start with a false start check. It’s also vital to note that you have two tire choices but you must use Racing Hard at some point in the race or you’ll get a 20s post-race penalty.

All three races will run through to Monday, December 16, when another new set of three will replace them.
