The second DLC car pack for Project CARS is now live and features an eclectic mix of classic cars rivaling their modern day counterparts. The pack introduces six new cars to the game and they are as follows:
- RUF CTR “Yellowbird”
- RUF RT 12R
- Ford Mustang Fastback 2+2
- Ford Mustang GT
- BMW 2002 Turbo
- BMW 320TC WTCC
This month’s free vehicle, the RUF RT 12R, will be available to all players regardless of owning the car pack. The pack is currently rolling out to the PlayStation 4 and PC and is available for $3.49 USD, with the pack being available to Xbox One users following the release of Patch 3.0.

I’m so thrilled with the Yellowbird!
I’m sure the next Gran Turismo will deliver the true this gen driving experience but will it reach the Project Cars tyre feel? I am a bit worried about that.

The BMW 2002 is just fantastic to drive. Racing round Zolder with 10 others online earlier, what a blast ! So easy to catch and hold a slide it should come with a government health warning.
Unfortunately though, the 2+2 fastback Mustang has got the same physics bug the Escort RS1600 has, it climbs up and rolls over any car or barrier it rubs against. In an offline race, any AI ‘Stang or Escort that comes into contact with you causes a spectacular roll/flip/dead stop crash ! The Merc or the 2002 are not effected and seem immune to the kind of crash you get in either of the Ford’s.
I wouldn’t say this is a game breaker for me, but it sure is an annoyance that I hope gets fixed SMSoon !!

Yea I’d leave you a link but they’re against the rules here. Just go to the playstation store in your web browser. Search project cars. Click show all. You’ll see all the DLC packs and free cars including the RT12

Nice little pack here, I’ve been waiting for a touring car of that level and the Mustang’s are a great addition!
