At this year’s E3, Turn 10 revealed 117 of the more than 450 cars available at launch in the upcoming Forza Motorsport 6. Beginning today and leading up to the launch of the game on September 15th, Turn 10 will be revealing more details not only regarding the game’s car roster but additional information on the new tracks being introduced for the first time in the series in what is being dubbed as “The Forza Garage”.

If you’ve had a go in any version of the SRT Tomahawk – the newest Vision GT concept car in Gran Turismo 6 – you know how crazy it is. The “X” model takes things to the furthest extreme, producing over 2,590hp with the use of “experimental technologies”.

Polyphony Digital’s work has been put on display at the National Art Center in Tokyo, Japan, as part of a new Manga*Anime*Games exhibit in the museum. The exhibit, which showcases the relationship between artists’ work, society, and technology, uses Gran Turismo to demonstrate the technical techniques of the artists that bring the game to life.

The SRT Tomahawk is finally upon us, and perhaps extends the most challenging obstacle by way of the The Green Hell. That’s right, in order to obtain the X variant of the Tomahawk one must go around the Nordschleife and record a time of 6 minutes or less. The latest update for Gran Turismo 6, version 1.20, has just gone live, and brings with it an update to the Goodwood Hill Climb course and one of the more hotly anticipated Vision GT cars: the radical SRT Tomahawk.

SMS have released details of the upcoming patch 2.0 for Project CARS, and it covers a wide range of areas, many of which have been discussed already in our Project Cars Forum. The patch will be for the PC, PS4 and XBox One.

NISMO Athlete and 2014 Nissan GT Academy winner Nic Hammann kicks off his first racing season for Nissan in a big way, co-driving with Russian GT Academy champ Mark Shulzhitskiy in an RJN Nissan GT-R GT3 NISMO racer in the first-ever Blancpain Sprint Series event at Moscow Raceway in Russia July 3 to 4.

In celebration of Forza’s 10th anniversary this year, Microsoft have announced a special edition of the Xbox One: the “Forza Motorsport 6 Limited Edition” console. As explained in the video above, it’ll feature a special blue color, inspired by the new game’s cover car, the Ford GT.

Nissan’s Alex Buncombe (GB), Katsumasa Chiyo (JAP) and Wolfgang Reip (BEL) took a commanding victory in Saturday’s 1000km Blancpain Endurance Series race, which ran into the night at Paul Ricard in France. This was the first overall Blancpain Endurance Series win for Nissan and the best possible warm up for next month’s Spa 24 Hours for Nissan GT Academy Team RJN.
