The latest Seasonal Events are now available in Gran Turismo 5, featuring a series of two racing events exclusive to front and rear wheel driven cars with no more than 450PP for this week’s time trial and Comfort/Soft compounds for both trial events.
Enjoy this gallery of 179 high-resolution images of cars featured in Gran Turismo 6. For a complete listing of all 1,197 cars appearing in the game, check out the full GT6 car list.
In last weeks’ GT6 info blowout, a radical and exciting new feature was quietly confirmed to be coming in an update for the game and its companion mobile apps:
Last week, GTPlanet was invited to Willow Springs Raceway to try out Gran Turismo 6’s new GPS Data Logger functionality. We also got another surprise – the “full” version of the game was on display, and those of us at the event would be the first people outside of Polyphony Digital to get our hands on it.
As you might have noticed when looking over the GT6 car list revealed last week, the game is set to feature one of the most significant and unique vehicles in the world universe.
Instead of waiting until the very end of this article to find the members responsible for this week’s featured images tucked away in the footnotes, I’ll save you the trouble of doing so, especially due to there being two individual images used for this auspicious occasion. The image of the 670-4 SV that greets you is another fantastic panorama put together by HaerBev, and the stellar image of the majestic Ferrari F40 belongs to The R!CE Guy.
Gran Turismo 6 may be closing in, but there’s still life left in GT5 and that much is proven with the availability of this week’s latest Seasonal Events, featuring a series of five expert level racing events exclusive to Japanese Kei cars with no more than 355PP and no better than Comfort/Soft compounds or less.
As part of yesterday’s GT6 info blowout, Polyphony Digital released a short trailer which highlights the game’s new weather system, time transitions, and astronomical simulation features.
YouTuber Starky513 got his hands on some Gran Turismo 6 drifting gameplay footage, which features a former GT Academy Race Camp finalist behind the virtual wheel of an Alfa Romeo TZ3 Stradale.
