A new batch of seasonal events are now available in Gran Turismo 6 showcasing this week’s super lap and drift trial challenges. The events feature front engine rear-wheel drive non-race cars, Italian non-race cars, Mazda’s RX-7, and GT300 class race cars. This week’s challenges are as follows, and remember to stop by our GT6 Seasonal Events forum for in-depth analysis and discussion, tips and tricks, and much more.
All events will be available through November 4th, 2015 at 0300 GMT/UTC.

If we get gold, does it mean we automatically get the rewards for bronze and silver as well? Or do we have to actually go for bronze, silver, and then gold to get all the rewards?
In all Gran Turismo games since the first one, achieving gold also gives you whatever prizes are available for silver and bronze too.
The times for each can be considered a minimum qualifying time for that prize.
Drifting for me is like eating a spicy pizza without knowing it had spice.
It’s gonna suck the whole way through.
One try and gold for both drift events…huh.
Drifting is so silly… especially with race cars. Hope l already have these colors, otherwise l’ll have to endure the punishment ;(

Anyone beat the Fr non racr car super lap? I only have a couple of FR cars, my best time is 1:40s with the One-77’11 completely down tuned with added ballast. Actually handles pretty well though. Let me know with what car you beat this super lap and your tune pls.
Head over to Exeter GT Tuning and grab my Shelby Series One ’03 (500PP SH) tune. Put a set of CS tyres on it and your good to go. I achieved gold on my first lap and left time on the tarmac too.

There are plenty of whips for you to chose from. You could go with an all out tune or a simple low cost tune. Because l favor driving stuff l see in my poor broke a.. neighborhood l chose the G35, installed a engine stage 1 and weight reduction 1 and semi-racing exhaust. Then added a wing for down force and racing suspension.
It came out to 499pp and golded at just under 1:35 within 5 clean laps.
Sooo sorry for the quick thumbing… also upgraded CPU, intake, catalytic converter, LSD, racing transmition, drivetrain and drive shaft.
It waw not easy but if a scrub, such as myself, can do it, so can you… with practice and patienc

It’s alot of fun, drifting any car. road or race car.
Do my eyes deceive me or is TenD being critical of some element of GT game design. Silly me, I thought a part of the charm of GT was to be able to do whatever you want with any kind of car. You know, soup up a Vitz and race it, drag race Veyrons, drift with racecars etc.
There is something wrong with the RX-7 Drift Trial. On my first attempt, my score was a 4,139 and the needed Gold score is 4,500. Yet, it said that I had gotten Gold, but not any other metal that I had obviously surpassed in score. However, I did not receive any money; only having my rank in the event displayed. (No prizes, either.)
On my second attempt, my score was a 5,598; which is far past Gold. Then again, I was only awarded with a ranking pop-up screen instead of money and prizes. So, be aware of this bug if it affects other people, and not just me. (My ranking isn’t even ranked.)
Nonetheless, these Seasonals are great! Polyphony really stepped up their rewards this time around. The GT300 Drift Trial gave me 2,200,000 Cr. with the 200% Login Bonus!
