The PlayStation Now service hasn’t quite set the world alight since its Summer 2015 release. Despite offering nearly 500 titles from the PlayStation 3, the level of quality in both the library itself and the streaming technology has held the service back in the eyes of some gamers.

Although Black Friday isn’t as synonymous with Thanksgiving as it is with the North American side of the world, that doesn’t mean that we don’t love a good deal at any time of the year. It should surprise nobody then that the UK has welcomed the Black Friday tradition with open arms, bringing with it tech deals across all the major retailers on our little island.

According to an official NISMO Facebook post and AutoDeal, the currently-underway 2016 GT Academy season has found its first dozen Silverstone-bound finalists. This selection of drivers from North Africa and Philippines will compete in the International Race Camp this October at the famed British circuit.

Assetto Corsa has landed on consoles today (at least, in Europe and the UK). Players on both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will get to enjoy the title before it launches in North America this coming Tuesday. Sony has recently released details regarding the package appearance of PS4 video games that will feature compatibility with the PlayStation VR headset. This information will undoubtedly help the customers purchasing the games at local retail stores.

UPDATE: While no new GT Sport or PSVR information was shown at during Sony’s press conference – or indeed, any racing games – stay tuned for more GT Sport news from the show floor later this week.

Sony has announced their next marquee event for the year: the 2015 PlayStation Experience, set to take place December 5th-6th at Moscone West in downtown San Francisco, CA.
