I’m so sick and tired of these damned one lap wonder seasonals.

I guess with the ai that slow down to let you win no matter what that a race for a seasonal wouldst be much fun either though. Sheesh.. maybe fix the ai, and come out with some RACES for seasonals? Is that too much too ask?

Plymouth XNR Ghia Roadster? Really? It costs a huge amount of credits… to win a colour and barely more of 80.000 credits for the gold? Two weeks waiting for this crap… This GT6 is really disappointing from all view points: short (50 hours to get all gold trophies vs over 120 hours without considering b-spec and endurance), no b-spec, no endurance (really ones, not these stupid 24 minutes races), the usual tens of clones…

    1. sepulturite81

You win the XNR in the career though, so you don’t have to buy it. Plus it’s not only 80k you win, you win gold silver and bronze combined, so it’s alot more than that.

I did not said it… i won that car but i sold: really orrible and worthless; I keep (obviously) only interesting cars, so no prize will be enough. It’s really time to give us what we want; we paid about the same for gt5 than gt6, getting a lot less (only few new car); and now what? We have to wait for gt7 on ps4? It’s a lot of money risking to get almost the same game of gt6, maybe only in 2k/4k resolution… i’m not sure to do that.

Was really fun driving the GT2 for the first time.

However I am disapointed because I paid 300,000 for the car and only received 198,000 for getting gold.

Are seasonals for getting your name on the board or for fun with an added bonus?

    1. SnakeOfBacon

Oh no, you weren’t supposed to buy it, every seasonal so far uses prize cars from the career, this one included.

I have done all licenses and Goodwood events(Gold), I suppose I should have invested in completeing more of the “S” class races!

      Thanks for the tip! ;)

We’ll I hope we get a big update with an awesome FREE DLC by next month… Hope to get at least 5 new cars!!!(free). And I hope the Supra RZ turns PREMIUM!!! Sorry… Great game but looks like they were looking forward to make a profit only and not to make the customer happy… The game is missing cars that the community really wants… This make me wanna buy an Xbox & play Forza

    1. ynot

SONY & Polyphony Digital are a business. They only reason the made the game in the first place is to make a profit. They did not make it to give stuff away for free. Only thing you should expect for free are the updates that were not ready at release date.

    2. Rafael F

If PD wants to make a profit, they better think about making the customer happy.
There are other options today and people are getting sick of the old GT issues.

    3. sepulturite81

So you want free dlc but your gonna go buy an xbone and forza that’ll cost you a fortune? Hmmmm interesting.

  5. DBalog

Big expectation big disappointment. Still no b spec, no making your own seasonal, no track editor, everything was a lie, but still enjoy playing and tuning. Fanatec csr saved gt6 from being sold with ps. And still no races in seasonals, why?

  6. Kavey

Still no races :( but an interesting set of cars to play with this week. Have all of these but not got around to tuning as yet so will have some fun tonight!

  7. andrew84555

I wish they would ban SRF for the time trials. The best 50 or so times at Willow were all driven with AT, TC and SRF and shouldn’t really count IMO.

  8. HuskyGT

Well, I won’t do the Diablo GT2 one. I refuse to drive that car because of how horrible it sounds. And I would have to buy it just to sell it again.

The others look fun. I love the XNR!

”Racers are to aim for the gold award in this week’s challenges as they’ll be richly rewarded.”

    Really?!

    1. Lambob

… GT5 server stashed in closet will still attempt automatic weekly scheduled seasonals even when servers are brought offline

  10. Quakebass

I’ve been on the forums, and I honestly don’t know where people are getting the idea that updates come with seasonal events… I can’t recall that ever happening…

February ends in 2-ish days, I’m gonna to wait on ‘asploding till then.

    1. Amac500

People are overly optimistic. Why don’t take PD’s word that the update will be out in mid-February and get excited for the late March release like the rest of us?

  11. Gwenbors

This is certainly going to be an interesting comments section!

That said, I definitely liked that PD seemed to use the Diablo Seasonal to point out that the physics or set up have been changed and that car is actually surprisingly drivable, now. (It was originally an oversteery nightmare.)

I was kind of hoping for a little bit more this time around, but it’s nice to have some new challenges to confront, and to have an excuse to try some cars that don’t get driven all that often!
